I have yet to dine in, but they have plenty of seating arrangements. I noticed today while ordering they have specials on certain days of the week. I've yet to be disappointed with any order I've placed. Today I just picked up 1/2 lb of spicy sausage and 1/2 lb of chopped brisket. The spicy sausage is really spicy! But I enjoyed it. They have regular BBQ sauce and spicy BBQ sauce. Again spicy is spicy. They have condiments, jalapeños, chopped onion, and pickles to the side by the drinks. I live down the road from the BBQ Center of the Universe (Lockhart, TX), so I think I know what good BBQ tastes like and this que is pretty darn good ? For truckstop BBQ, it is down right amazing. I got the 3 meat plate to get a good sampling; brisket, ribs and sausage. The brisket was almost melt in your mouth, moist, tender with decent flavor. The ribs almost fell off the bone and all it took was a little coaxing. Again, good taste and tender. The sausage was spicy with jalepenos, but no cheese and not really that spicy, but certainly didn't taste store bought. The green beans were very tasty also. This place has "don't miss" kind of BBQ. I stopped by Texas Best Smokehouse while passing through Denison, and I'm glad I did. The brisket was super tender and had that perfect smoky flavor. I also tried the chicken, which was great. The sides are just as good like the loaded potatoes and baked beans, and cornbread were all solid. The vibe is relaxed, and the staff were friendly and quick with service. Being from Arizona I have never eaten at a Texas Best BBQ before. If we're lucky they'll bring this to the land of cacti as the bbq here was awesome. It wasn't much to look at, but it was outstanding for gas station bbq! It is also easy to get in and out of the location which is conveniently located just off the freeway with plenty of parking. We stopped here on our way back from Lake Eufaula. At first we were sure about a truck stop BBQ but as we drove past it on the freeway we had to make a u-turn! They even have fried pies! The bathrooms were new and clean - always a plus! My husband ordered 1lb of ribs with the original sauce. They were juicy and so tender they were falling off the bone! No complaints there! The sauce was robust and slightly sweet. I ordered the Cowgirl meal - 1 meat and 2 sides. Pulled pork (my go to) with spicy sauce, green beans and mashed potatoes. The pork was tender and not fatty which I like. The sauce was spicy but good, not sweet. I think I would like 1/2 original 1/2 spicy for the perfect combo of sweet and spicy. The green beans were ok, most likely canned but they weren't salty which I can appreciate. The mashed potatoes were the bomb! Definitely would get those again! Oh, and you get a yeast roll or cornbread. I opted for the roll, should have got a couple of pickle slices as I piled some of my pulled pork in it and it was so yummy! Didn't get pics - sorry! We also picked up a pecan fried pie for later because you can't pass up an Original Fried Pie when you see one! We will definitely be stopping there when we pass through Denison again! The food was great! It's where Tesla's superchargers are at and a gas station close to the highway. I came in for a quick stop for food and realized they had a whole buffet. The peach cobbler was nice and warm and the bbq sauces came with mild and spicy, really good. It was clean inside and staff were helpful and nice. The brisket was tender as well. Really satisfying. Generous portions, and delicious. This is the place to stop for a meal if you're traveling through. If I had known in advance that I would be lunching here, I would've brought my own plastic fork. The food IS a bit salty, but it's fine if you share. The only thing that could be improved is the use of compostable serving containers. Styrofoam is so "de trop"! If yall have seen my google review on the ribs and Mac n cheese, then you will love this. I went in today and got the usual but the guy asked me if I like Turkey. I said "yes, but I've never had theirs before", so he gave me a sample. Man, I thought the ribs were off the bone, and they are, but this Turkey was best Turkey I've ever had. It is spicy and seasoned to perfection. So, next time you are in Denison stop by and get Turkey, ribs, or pulled pork. Let me add the sweet cornbread is great! The brisket was tender but it lacked flavor, the ribs were fall of the bone tender but lacked flavor. I would say average but not the best. Don't think they smoke there meat with wood, or don't smoke it long enough, its lacking seasoning too. I wouldn't recommend to friends and family. Y'all need to step up y'all game especially when y'all name is Texas Best. It should be Changed to Texas Average Smokehouse. read more

You know we take our BBQ pretty serious in these parts and I've waited a while to try this place. I went in close to closing time so I was pretty skeptical. The service was AWESOME! They were super fast, friendly and even gave my daughter a sample of their banana pudding! I ordered a family dinner that came with 3 pounds of meat, 3 double sides and 8 rolls for $79... which for BBQ I thought was pretty reasonable. They were out of ribs but I got chopped brisket, pulled pork and sausage. It was all delicious! The brisket was not fatty at all, which I prefer! Their baked beans were a HUGE hit with my kids and the rolls were yummy! We will most definitely be eating there again! read more

The turkey breast meat was dry. The sandwich was small and overpriced at $7.99 plus tax.

The Brisket is awesome and they have a killer sauce and the facility was very clean. Staff was friendly.
