BEWARE!! Your interactions with this resort can take a 360-degree turn for the worse. They have the rudest staff who will slam the phone, scream at you, and insist on talking to your minor child with a disability to validate the legitimacy of your service animal. Seriously, talk to the minor? If you, as a parent, try to express your upset or question their actions, they will cancel your reservation, leaving you in a difficult situation. I will be filing a lawsuit against them for: Asking detailed questions (beyond the two legally allowed) about the service dog and insisting on speaking to the minor with a disability. Canceling the resort reservation, causing my family mental and financial stress. read more

We have been coming to this resort for 3 years straight now with every adventure up from south Florida ( Broward County). From the very first time we arrived we loved the location and the setup. This may not be " luxurious " but it feels like home above anything else. They helped me by accommodating a special delivery of flowers to our room the same day before we where even checked in to be a anniversary surprise. Offered all answers we could ask at any point. Have an extremely friendly, welcoming, and amazing front counter staff. This location is amazing for families and couples who love a quiet place that is comfortable to stay in all day if you wanted to or a welcoming place to come back to when shopping, thrill riding, or adventuring all day long from. They offer a full gym, a full game room for kids ( which for COVID reasons was closed last We visited ) which included newer video game stations. A full sized deep pool, as well as amazing hot tub and kiddie pool. Multiple BBQ locations in the court yard right behind the pool as well as another in the back if you wanted a little more private area. Complete laundry facilities on the second floor. Full free DVD rental library in the lobby if you're wanting to enjoy a small film. Extremely large " banquet " or party room if you ever wanted to have maybe a poker night or such in the lobby. ( I've never used it but it is beautiful in there. ) Ping-pong table, a small outdoor gas fire pit and large checker set outside for the young ones. We've met amazing people there ( being other guests) that have become long distance friends and left with so many amazing memories. The rooms are top notch amazing. Full kitchens with everything you'll need from cooking items to dinning items. Full sides fridge and fantastic counter space. Full sized living room with couches that can seat at least 4 on it that can also turn into a bed and a very good TV with DVD player also. Should you want to come with a gaming device or even hook up your computer the the TV it isn't held in place or complicated to set up like I have seen in my other places I have stayed at. A good sided dining table to sit 4 people comfortably and also plenty of closet space and dresser space should you be staying a longer time to properly put all your cloths away and set it up like your at home. We also fell in love with the beds soon as we payed our weathered bodies down in them and got the best sleep in our lives that it was a battle to leave them in the morning just to be able to enjoy all the other things we wanted to do. When booking a 2/2 you'll having a total of 3 TVs in the booking. One in each room and the living room should that ever be a conflict of interest everyone can have their own TV time. On top of all that this place is a picture perfect location. From the small second floor " tree house" like circle bench or the full mirrored wall. We loved to get ready in the morning all dressed take a wonderful family picture and start our day! This is the perfect little piece of heaven. Quiet, private, and homey. Being walking distance from a Super Walmart is a great plus too! I wish I could give them a higher rating! My family and I love this spot and will continue to book here whenever we have the chance! read more

If you are looking for a well maintained resort with a very friendly staff, Magic Tree Resort is the place. We have stayed here twice and enjoyed it both times. If you just want to relax there are outdoor games to enjoy, and the kids and adult pools plus jacuzzi are well maintained. They have a nice gym and small theater too. There are many gas grills available so you won't have to wait to grill. The units are nice and towels are changed daily if you desire and the trash is emptied daily. TVs are in the living room and both bedrooms. Wi-fi is also available. There is a guest laundry room with several washers and dryers available free of charge. Another big plus is Disney is only minutes away, with easy access to and from. Magic Tree is also close to restaurants and shopping. Wal-Mart is within walking distance in case you need anything quickly during your stay. Publix, Sams, and Target are within short driving distance. Magic Tree is very handily located for a visit to the big spots in the area. It looks like a standard hotel, but has been totally redone on the inside, yielding spacious rooms and units that open onto the tropical pool deck. We had plenty of space, and enjoyed their salt water swimming pool. The staff were AWESOME, very helpful with things concerning our stay there, but also kind and generous with recommendations (when we asked for them!) about how to best spend our limited time there. My parents were gracious enough to let us use their timeshare for a place to stay in Orlando as my girlfriend, a buddy of mine, and myself went on vacation for a week to do a Disney World visit. First impressions from their website made it look very dated and as one person has mentioned here gives you that "'70s feel and look." However, seeing as we would be at the park pretty much all day every day, we just really cared about a place to rest, shower, recuperate, and sleep before moving forward with the next day of Disney craziness. To my surprise, from the beginning of my trip till the end I was very pleased with my stay there. We arrived at the MCO airport around 1am after leaving earlier that day from California and finally got to the resort around 2:30am. Obviously the office was closed but there was a safety box right outside the office with a laminated piece of paper giving instructions on where to call for later night check-ins. After calling the number and waiting a few minutes for someone to respond, we were given the combination to open the safe and grab the appropriate envelope with a key card and some further instructions on where our room was. Upon finally stepping into our suite, I was pleased to see that the interior of the place at least looked somewhat renovated. You have flat panel LCD TVs and a kitchen and bathroom top that isn't some cheap laminate. Everything looked clean an in order; granted yes, some of the furniture could use some updating as well, but for the price we paid for a week I'm not complaining! The following morning I went downstairs to officially check-in and was welcomed and helped by a very courteous and friendly woman named Gloria. She gave me the paperwork to fill out and so on and get me all set to go in a gracious and professional manner. Gloria was also very helpful in letting me know of what else to do and check out around the area besides Disney World which is always appreciated, in my opinion, when you're a tourist in the area and want to venture around. But here's the thing that really sold me on this place... they did a revamp of their whole resort to accommodate wifi all over the resort. We're not just talking about that very slow wifi that takes 5 minutes to load a simple page either. The speeds I was reading from their wifi all over our suite was exceptional and enough to upload all the photos I took that day to my Google Photos account and stream movies through NETFLIX. Overall, I'd say if you're able and willing to see past the exterior outdated looks of the resort, this is a great place to consider. You'll be within 15 minutes of the Disney World campus and not too far out from any other iconic areas you might want to visit or venture too! read more

To call this place a Resort is a bit far fetched...however...it still is a great spot. We stayed for 6 nights and loved it. We rented a 2 bedroom, 2 bath, full kitchen and living room/dining combo suite and it was absolutely perfect. The entire suite was flawlessly and immaculately cleaned from the floor to the ceiling fans. The kitchen was fully stocked with a set of nice farberware cookware as well as coffeemaker, bakeware, bowls, plates, cups, mugs and utensils. It also had a full size fridge (with automatic ice maker), stove/oven, microwave and a full dishwasher that they give you the detergent for! They also give you dish soap and sponges for the sink as well. The cleaning service cam everyday to clean out garbae and replenish towels but never made beds or touched any personal items, which was fine for us. They have BBQ grills all around the property for everyone to use. A hot tub, a good size pool for the adults and older kids and a kiddie pool area for the not potty trained ones. Also a tennis court, shuffle board and basketball courts. It's by no means in the same calliber as some of the other larger high rise resorts in the area but for $95 a night, super clean, a fully loaded kitchen and a skip/jump to Disney word entrance, you can't beat it. And it seemed most people owned a time share here for many years so they were very friendly with the staff and eachother on first name basis and all. We will definitely stay here again. read more

In May, 2019, we arranged a direct exchange with Magic Tree Resort in Kissimmee, FL from World International Vacation Club (WIVC), where we are owners. WIVC confirmed our exchange for January 17-24, 2020 for a one bedroom unit. This was a Friday to Friday exchange. As we approached our dates, a friend decided to join us and we called Magic Tree to request a two bedroom unit and to confirm our reservation. We spoke with Cece and she said that there were no two bedroom units available, she recommended we call back later for a possible cancellation. She also told us that our original reservation was not for Jan 17-24, but instead a Saturday to Saturday stay for Jan 18-25. We questioned this since the letter we had from WIVC said Jan 17-24 and she assured us the 18-25 dates were now correct. We said the new dates were not a problem for us since our trip was still a few months out and we would arrive on the 18th. A month or so later, we again called to check on a two bedroom unit and again confirmed our dates. Again we were told Jan 18-25. There were still no two bedroom units available. About a week before we departed home, I called again to check. Still no two bedrooms available and again they confirmed our Jan 18-25 stay. They recommended we try once again for the two bedroom at check in. We arrived at Magic Tree on the 18th around 4 pm to check in. This time they found us a two bedroom unit and charged us $350 for the larger unit. They made no mention of different check out date or anything about us arriving late for our stay. Our stay went well except roof repair all week that created a bad tar smell around the pool and made staying around the pool difficult. The management also turned off the pool heater a couple times during the week and it was needed for the weather's cool temperatures Friday morning, the 17th, people knocked at our door asking if we were checking out that day. We told them no, we were a Saturday checkout. We were getting ready to depart for a day at Universal Studios and already had tickets. Soon the phone rang, and the front desk called saying yes indeed we were scheduled to check out Friday, not Saturday and they had our original reservation from WIVC from Jan 17-24. She (Paula) said we had arrived a day late. I explained all the phone conversations with their front desk and the change to our arrival date. They said they kept detailed records and had no record of the change. Of course they had not sent us any confirmation of the new dates to us. I told her we had tickets for Universal and no place else to stay Friday. She said we would have to vacate our unit but she might have a one bedroom unit for us for Friday night. Here's what a believe I believed happened: The resort has two building, one check outs of Fridays, the other on Saturdays. We were originally in the Saturday building, but when we changed to the two bedroom on check in, we moved to the Friday building. Cece (who checked us in) did not notice the different check out dates. When it became a problem, the desk didn't want to mention they messed up, so to CYA, they put us back on our original schedule and avoided telling us. Paula called back and said she did have a one bedroom unit for us for Friday for around $125. Her solution was to rent back to us our original one bedroom for an additional fee! She also refused to refund any portion of $350 upgrade fee, even though they threw us out of the resort after 6 days. So we lost $300 in Universal tickets, $50 refund for the two bedroom we used on 6 nights, and $300 motel fees for two rooms for Friday night so we could connect with our existing travel plans, I recommend you avoid the problems with this resort, their front desk is either incompetent or dishonest. Either way, not a good choice. read more

This is the WORST hotel/resort. Most disgusting thing ever. At first we thought the place was decent. Then we come to find our room being filled with fleas. They supposedly cleaned the room but we had fleas all over our bed. We had them jumping on us and biting us. How gross. read more

We had an enjoyable stay at Magic Tree. The beds were comfortable, like we were at home. The room we stayed in was very clean. The kitchen ware was spotless. The pool and jacuzzi were clean, relaxing and rejuvenating. The washers and dryers on site were free to use and they gave you a box of detergent with your stay. They have free movies with dvd players in every room. I can not say enough about the pleasurable stay we had. Plus it's a 15 min drive to Disney. read more

Spent a week here with my family and we had so many complaints during or stay here. The air would go out, instructions for simple utilities and locations of useful items, such as the trash bin, we're not specified, our air went out during our first night here, bedsheets smelling strange, Televisions were not working, and a broken bed in the master bedroom. One good think about this place is they will get back to you within the first 24 hours after you place a call but the service is pretty bad since we had to sleep in the heat after calling three or four times before closing time and no one came by to fix our air until the next day. One other plus side for staying here is being at least a mile away from the Disney resorts but if you're not going to Disney world and want to spend time with the family, I would not recommend staying here. If you're coming with l friends and are looking for only a place to rest, shower, and stay for less than three days, I would recommend this place. However, if you're looking to stay for more than three days with your family and need to use the kitchen, laundry, and will be in the home most of the time, I would save my money for something much better. read more

This does not seem like a resort. It is very outdated and has a very 70s feel to it from the moment you drive up. Starting with the Magic Tree Resort sign. The lobby has nothing nice about it. A ton of brochures the moment you walk in...very cheesy. The two bedroom we stayed in smelled like an old place. The furniture was very outdated. The tubs were not spotless at all and the beds have the old mattress covers! You only find that at motels! If you want to stay in an updated modern place, this is not the place. I do have to say that everything else seemed clean except around the bedrooms. Carpets seemed dirty. read more

Had a gr8 time at Magic Tree resort...The rooms are spacious and Kitchen is big enough to cook...Staff is very friendly.....Very clean and close to Disney and Universal....1 Mile to an Indian restaurant(Clay Oven Indian Cuisine) and Walmart is under construction, which is next to the resort....There is also an indo pak grocers Halal Market around 8 miles away....The front desk staff member also helped me to get the discounted tickets from http://www.discountticketsorlando.com I would recommend anyone to stay here....we would look forward to stay again.... read more

Magic tree is absolutely awful, if i could give 0 stars i would. It's completely a retirement resort so anyone under the age of 70 go somewhere else. They have rules for everything, no music by the pool, no floaters for children, no drinks by the pool. There were bugs all over the counter in our room and they wouldn't let the air go left than 73, when it's blazing hot outside. Horrible, do not waste your money. read more

This is a great place for the family with plenty of activities including a nice pool, playground, tennis and basketball court, and many other amenities. Our family of 5 were very comfortable in our two bedroom suite, equipted with two full bathrooms, a kitchen and living room area. It is apparent that this resort is slowly updating outdated fixtures and equipment, but everything was in perfect working order. Great place. Little outdated but they are working on it. Great location ! Stores nearby and commute to disney is just few minutes. Pool area is awesome. There is deeper pool and pool for kids. There is also hot tub. There is few grills, so you can grill on your vacation....isn't this awesome? I bought chicken, fish and steak and on our days off (from disney;) we are cooking here and saving tons of money so we can spend them at disney ;) oh and they have gym too ! Not a full gym but much better then most locations we've been to Two bedroom,two bathroom with full kitchen apartment. More then enough space for one family. Overall great experience. read more

This place is essentially a SCAM. I literally sat in the lobby and heard the receptionist blatantly lying to people on the phone. Telling the person she couldn't answer his questions because two women were checking in and she was all by herself at the front desk. There were no customers, and two other employees in the back. They took my money when they said I had until 5 PM to book a new reservation through my timeshare exchange. I am out $84 because of their lies. Book at VACATION VILLAGE instead - three minutes away, much nicer rooms and facilities, a free shuttle to publix, disney, and Celebration where there are shops and restaurants, a huge tub in your room, and no issues with the front desk overcharging or lying, whatsoever. read more

A friend and I stayed in room 408 over a weekend in Dec 2016. On Monday morning as I was getting dressed I noticed bugs on the bed. They were bed bugs - there were three of them and one of them was full of blood - most likely mine! We presented evidence (a piece of paper with squished bugs) to the manager. His response was an overall, non-caring attitude that I personally found shocking! He said that EVERY PLACE has bedbugs and there was also the possibility that WE had brought them in. He did not offer any sympathy - there was no display of caring at all. He said he would have housekeeping look into it but that room had just been redone. Overall the room was nice but I cannot give more stars because of the attitude of the manager. read more

My husband and I recently stayed at this resort. The WiFi access in the room was terrible, had to go to the lobby or the pool area when I wanted to get some work done. The bed has a system to raise the head and feet. The one in our room was malfunctioning, and I would wake up in the middle of the night with it raising or lowering itself. The smoke/fire alarm was hanging from a wire from the ceiling. And a blade on the ceiling fan was twisted when I arrived. After I checked out they charged my credit card $40. They gave me the run around a few days, when I called they would say there was nothing written in my record and I had to talk to the manager. When I finally got a hold of the manager she said I broke the blade because the maids and the maintenance employee said so. Also because I did not report it to them when I noticed it. When I said the only logical explanation I can find to how a blade gets twisted is that it got twisted when they were cleaning it, and I don't go around cleaning fans at hotels I stay. She responded that the way blades get twisted is when people hang their bathing suits to dry. Who on earth would hang wet bathing suits from the blades of a fan that is directly on top of the bed? And she ended by saying that I could have gotten charged over $100 to replace the fan. Beware, this resort is undergoing renovations and I guess instead of charging the renovations to the owners they are charging it to the guests. read more
