I feel like I always want more from this place but it's brand new and I know it's expanding so I'll give it some time for that. The concept of the park is beautiful where you warp into worlds as you amongst the stars in the celestial Park area when you enter. Mario world is just a beautiful site. It just makes you feel like you're in the game. I truly believe they put all their money and effort into this Park. The Yoshi ride was a cute People mover ride that was very relaxing, thankfully it didn't rain, but people are literally on this ride when it's raining. The Mario kart ride was OK a little dizzy for me. And the best ride was definitely donkey Kong. Lots of twist and turns and any buddy of all ages can get on this ride. I don't wanna make this review super long because I feel with my knowledge and passion for the park. I can get pretty lengthy. Overall, I do recommend going to the park but bring an umbrella or a poncho because there's barely any coverage. Also walking shoes since everything is very far apart. My mom made the mistake to bring sandals and I don't know how we did not notice this when she left the house lol! The food is definitely worth trying out for as well. Universal Studios did a wonderful job with the Park, but the lines that you wait for majority of the rides are borderline atrocious. A lot of the rides break down in our clothes for hours even when you're in the line and they don't really let you know. So it's up to you if you stay in line or not. We made the mistake of staying in line last time and for the ride we waited was not worth the 3 1/2 hours that we wasted. The park does not even open that late to be going through those motions. Anyways, if it's your first time, highly recommend you go. Definitely be prepared and bring your own water bottle, walking shoes, and something to cover your head from the rain.

We arrived at 8 AM and we're surprised that they were already people in line waiting to get in. The process to enter is pretty quick and they hold you at the different universes before going in. Just before nine, they let us into the Mario world where we wanted to start our day. It is absolutely beautiful in there and definitely brings you back to your childhood. My head was literally on a swivel. The portals to enter the universes are absolutely beautiful as well. We rode the two rides in Mario world and were pleasantly surprised at how quickly we got through it. The donkey Kong ride wasn't my favorite just because it was a little shaky and brought up some low back soreness that I forgot I had. Following Mario world, we headed to Harry Potter. We were a little bit confused by the concept, but nonetheless enjoyed the world itself. The Ministry of magic is unreal. The work that they did in there is amazing and we were excited to experience it. The wait for the ride was 180 minutes most of the day because the ride kept getting shut down so unfortunately we didn't get to ride it. We had heard that it wasnt worth it anyway. Instead, we grabbed a butter beer, which was delicious and headed for the show. After Harry Potter, we headed to the dark universe. This has got to be my favorite universe in this park. It is totally underrated. We got in line for monsters and was greeted by some air-conditioning and a quick line. The queue itself is so entertaining and it preps you for such a great experience. We loved it so much that we rode it twice. We had for werewolf and was a little disappointed at how short the ride was. I literally blinked and it was pretty much over. Headed to the old burnt Tavern for cheddar bites after those rides. I wasn't really in the mood for them, but when we finally ordered them and they came... I couldn't get enough. I honestly wanted more. The environment there is awesome too because it's very dark in there and eerie. We rode stardust racer twice and preferred the Green track. And our last stop, we headed to Isle of Berk. Again Dragon Racers was wayyyy too short. I was really working on trying to get a barrel roll, but before I could even figure out the ride itself, it was over. We stopped for lunch and had a burger, which was really good too. This was mainly to escape the heat for a bit. Following lunch, we headed to the show in Isle of Berk. We finished off the day with riding the two remaining rides before we headed home & the rains hit. Overall, this park is absolutely beautiful. They definitely have room to grow, but I'm excited to watch them do it.

I'm so happy we've gotten to experience Universal. It was a different pace than Disney, in a good…read moreway, now that my kids are older teen and adult ages. We had a beautiful day to visit and smiled throughout the day. Some of our best moments were walking through the various city streets and seeing musical performances and dancing. The walkways were wide and we were never on top of other guests. Most rides had reasonable wait times and/or offered single rider options. The locker areas for cramped, but I appreciated how many of the wait queues were indoors, keeping us cooler and away from the rain. The Harry Potter sections were amazing, just amazing. I couldn't have imagined how it would have felt being in the middle of the space. Restaurants, both sit down and quick service, were scattered throughout the park. I loved that we didn't have to worry plan in advance to get a spot at either. My only downside to Universal Studios is that some of the themes felt outdated or just aren't favorite characters of mine. At least this helped to decrease the temptation of spending money on apparel or merchandise.

Staff we interacted with still did amazing but I do feel like it's time for a few changes. Villains con while a cute experience and fitting to changing that area to minions, took away a nice relief from the heat that was Shrek theater. (And before that Alfred Hitchcock Experience!) The horror make up show was being redone during our trip. A few stores in the Harry potter store felt ... Smaller than I remember, though in that area our intent was mainly looking around. We were able to do everything we wanted to quickly and easily. During a non busy time we did everything my kid wanted to do in about a half a day. Saving a few things for when we did HHN as we knew we needed a few time killers while we waited for the staged openings of the haunts. We skipped the little kids area and Jimmy Fallon, due to lack of interest and not being geared to our age group. I'll be interested to see what they do to bring new life to this park when the Simpsons contract runs out, especially since they are closing the Animal actor experience. So that's a sizeable amount for something new! For HHN, it ran well for us. I liked that they had two houses open at 2, and then we hit some haunts as they opened at 515 or 545. Thought I will say our feet ended up killing us from having to bounce back and forth. Since where they had two haunts that felt like a long walk off to the side where one opened at 2 but the other didn't open for a little more than 3 hours after it, so made for some unexpected back tracking.

I was really looking forward to the fact that you can hook up your Bluetooth and play music. It didn't work! We tried for a solid 1/3 of the ride and could never make it work. So then I thought that maybe the narration would tell us information about what we were seeing. It didn't work either, it just kept telling us to watch out the doors were closing, even though they were already closed. So my son and I opted to sit in silence and look at everything beneath us. Overall, the ride wasn't bad. You can see quite a bit of Orlando, but I expected to find the views more interesting. There's a lot of construction happening around the Eye so we did see a lot of plain lots. But we could glimpse part of epic universe that was pretty cool, but most of the major theme parks are pretty far away. Everybody that worked there was super nice though. It is about a 20 minute ride the full way around. That's why it's a little crazy to me. That people are willing to pay so much for what amounts to that 20 minute attraction. It is neat though that it's part of icon Park, so I do really appreciate that you can pay for the Eye, sea life, and Madame Tussaud. We get all for free with our annual pass to Legoland, so that made this trip worth it. Parking at icon park it super easy. There is a parking garage where the upper levels are free and lower levels you pay for.

Haha All jokes aside, from the top of the Eye, you can see a good distance of central Florida. Over the years, they've added some cool features. They added seating in the center, Bluetooth connectivity to phones for music and a touchscreen telling you about the views and surroundings! It's the main focal point of Icon Park!

It's pretty clean and there is a lot of variety in game options. The claw machine prizes are AMAZING. My star takeaway is that for the machines you pretty much get 1 strong claw grab every 10 tries. And for that one strong grab you have to ensure that it is perfectly angled. I think every 5-6 grabs would make more sense. Blowing $10 on one chance of a grab really hurts the wallet (unless you're getting the bonus credits by putting in $100).

You are provided 3D glasses and then you buckle yourself in, grab your "gun", and get ready to enjoy the ride! Our ride was the carnival themed one which involved shooting at some pretty scary clowns and other twisted carnival creatures. The chairs move and vibrate, but nothing too crazy. The 3D effect is actually pretty immersive; it really felt like you were falling at some parts and it was fun trying to fend off the virtual monsters popping up and jump scaring you. I'm a big kid at heart, so I really had fun with it even though I felt a little queasy towards the end due to my motion sickness. The only downfall was that when it showed the scores at the end, it wasn't really clear who was who so I'll never know if I was the queen of the clown killers haha. I don't know that I would go out of my way to do this, but if it's included in a package, it's worth checking out.

We had the Premier Pass so we didn't have to wait too long in line which was good as it was quite a line. I'd say depending on the length of line it's worth it if you don't buy the lightening lane passes. It's so fun and cute. It's one of my favorite rides/experiences. I'll come back on my next trip to Disney World or Disneyland. They have the same ride at Disneyland. It is one of those rides you wish you could go on numerous times, but the lightening lane passes only let you go on it once. I can see on t his ride why they put that limit on or people would keep coming back to improve their score. It's a video game and I know how people get addicted to those things. This review is for the original version that opened at Disney's Hollywood Studios in Florida on May 31, 2008. Other versions exist at Disney California Adventure (which opened June 17, 2008) and Tokyo DisneySea (which opened July 9, 2012). This is a 4D shooter dark ride. It reminds me of the Men in Black: Alien Attack ride at Universal Studios Florida, which we rode less than a year prior. You have to wear 3D glasses, and the 4D aspect comes in the form of air blasts and water sprays. The games are classic carnival games in digital form. I was so focused on shooting and trying to get a high score that I don't remember much other than looking for high numbers and trying to shoot them. The vehicle spins you into various sections, much like the Men in Black ride. The line and pathway before and after the ride, respectively, are neat because you're "shrunk down" and immersed in the world of Toy Story. There are real brand names like Monopoly, Tinkertoy, and Uno, and everything is giant - like the Uno playing cards. We had Lightning Lane passes on a non-holiday Sunday at 6:44 p.m. and experienced a minimal wait. I saw in a YouTube video and heard from my wife that the regular line has more to see. This one was fun, though if you're competitive, your hands, wrists, and even forearms will get tired from the hundreds of rapid trigger pulls. Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe the games still run on Windows XP machines.

A Lake Nona gem -- fun for the whole family!…read more We absolutely love Nona Adventure Park! My daughter is obsessed with the water park -- it's her favorite part, and honestly, it's hard to beat on a hot Florida day. The setup is amazing, super clean, and well-organized, and the staff always makes sure everyone feels safe while still having tons of fun. Beyond the waterpark, they do such a great job hosting special events -- there's always something new and exciting happening. I definitely recommend checking their event calendar often because they plan the most creative, family-friendly activities throughout the year. It's also such a flexible and beautiful space -- whether you're spending the day on the water, grabbing snacks, or relaxing while the kids play, it's the perfect place to enjoy time together as a family. If you're in the Lake Nona area, Nona Adventure Park is a must. Great energy, great people, and endless fun for all ages!

Kids had a great time, especially sliding into the lake from the inflatables. My only complaint is the price point. We paid $75 for two kids to do the climbing tower & 45 minutes on the inflatables. A 45 minute session was definitely not enough for them. Next time, we will opt for two sessions I guess...It would be great if they had a summer pass, but from what I can tell, season passes are all sold out. Even being able to buy a 5 or 10 session pass at a discounted rate would be great.

The security guards at the waterpark were not nice. They made me come in with my 3. 14yr old…read more girls even though my husband was already in there and my 18 year-old son and his 19-year-old girlfriend and then they would not let me leave. They told me they did not believe me that my husband and son were in there and caused a scene! The most ridiculous thing I've ever seen here. We were just here a few months ago and did not have this problem. I feel like they were being very racist because they let a whole black family of kids very younger come in and never even question them, but then the white people come in and give us a hard time. It's not a black-and-white thing but they made it that way and my family is actually half black ... their behavior was ridiculous. He actually told me that I need to go watch my kids. you've been coming here for seven years. I've never experienced anything like this. My mom was actually the first owner of F12 unit left her thumb to treat us like this was absolutely unacceptable.
