I've been coming here since December of last year. The first person I had was great. Unfortunately, she seems to have disappeared because I've never saw her again. The person I've had most frequently since is pretty good and seems she has gotten more comfortable. I came this past weekend and got a different girl, it appeared she was in training mode. There was another much younger girl who sat next to her and watched-- it was a little uncomfortable because she kept staring at me, but obviously I couldn't understand what they were talking about. She kinda moved very quickly and felt she could have spent a little more time. Once I was done, she attempted to charge me $5 more than the usual rate, I objected. The lady next to me tried to justify but the manager who knows I come regularly said something and they corrected the amount. I am contemplating going back to Lina's across the street due to this. When I come here I always get Lilly and she's really sweet. I've been here three times. Review is based on 12/23/22 visit. I was welcomed warmly and asked what I would like. I opted to go for their special Spa Pedicure with regular manicure. I am happy with both services. Lilly gives a really good pedi. The spa pedicure was nice. She wrapped my legs in a clay mask and covered with warm towels and Saran Wrap to set while she worked on my feet. She gave a nice 15mins leg massage and showed me the timer she set so I would be sure it's 15mins. She did well in removing those pesky little bits of nail that always dig into the side of the big toe... lol I don't know how else to explain it. But Lilly did really good there! The manicure was as expected. She did well and didn't cut me when removing my cuticles. Downside: they charge $1 for quick dry so I had to pay $2 (one for toes one for hands..) which is not a deal breaker for me but I feel like it should just be standard to apply one coat of quick dry to all polish.. but maybe I'm just spoiled cause my usual place includes it with service. They gave me a gift which I thought was sweet and thoughtful. It was a green tea lotion. Not sure if this was only for Xmas or just something they give with Spa pedi. I saw a flyer for "Forever charmed by V" which is a pop up shop that they have where you can get "forever jewelry" while you wait for your nails to dry. I've had a few mani/pedis since my last review, and I'm lowering my rating. Cindy did one again yesterday. She kept trying to upsell me, and I politely refused, but eventually she just started rushing. The cuticle around my big toe is red and swollen, and all of my nails are poorly filed. I don't expect it to be perfect for these prices, but she was too rough. Someone named Sama did it last time and she was very nice. read more

Needed a last minute place to do pedicure and found this place on google. Also had my mind set on treating myself to a spa pedicure. Had high expectations for this place since so many good reviews on google and Yelp. Spa pedicure was very bad. All i can feel is the lady's nails through her gloves as she gave me a foot rub. It was not enjoyable. There were little gnats flying around (and no, not the ones from Canada wildfires) and when she swatted one away, it died on my foot. It didn't bother me cause it was going to get washed away anyways but come on, that's gross. Even after this one gnat died, there were others. Not a good look. The color I picked ended up being a dried out bottle and they didn't have a back up. Also shows they don't check their nail polishes regularly. She ended up finding a diff brand that was kind of the same color but didn't even bother to ask me if that was ok lol. A customer left and they were complaining about them. Granted i was the only one who understood what they were saying but they just went on and on. It was really annoying. 2 stars cause the lady was really nice and they could make easy improvements. I came in one day for a pedicure not knowing what to expect. The pedicure was extremely simple and quick and the lady cut my nails very unevenly and the polish chipped off the next day. All of them were very rude and they made it obvious that they were talking about me in Chinese. I always find that so disrespectful and rude. Also, there were flies flying around and when I tried to get away from one flying into my hair, they laughed at me and were very sarcastic. They also lied about their pedicures being $25 when they are $20. I called them out on it and they agreed to charge me $20. I wouldn't go back there even if it were the last salon on earth. read more

Went here with my daughter bc another place nearby had a huge wait. The tech doing my pedicure did an awesome job and was also so kind to my daughter. I went back the next day for a gel manicure and a different tech did an equally great job. I'd definitely recommend this place. Affordable and the lines weren't long the two days I was there. She is very talented, she has never never failed to please me and give me exactly what I want. They have nice music playing and all the girls there are sweet. I will never go to a different place, there is no other better nail salon that this in Brooklyn. The prices are very fair for the work that they do. Not the best salon in the world, but not the worst. I would go here usually because their spa pedi + medi is a pretty good deal (40$ for that, plus callus remover and 10 min feet massage). Place is generally clean and honestly never crowded when I go (usually go during weekday during 2-5pm). Good color selection for both lacquer and gel. Only reason I take a star off is the end results always ends up being a gamble. Sometimes I leave with really pretty nails and cuticles cut nicely. Other times, the cuticles are shredded and doesn't last as long as it should have. because of the gamble of the results, I usually just get no coloring (more for the maintenance than anything else). Go with low expectations- you'll get amazing results! If you expect perfection, you might be a little upset. read more

Horrible massage. I had a 10 minute chair massage and the girl had no idea what she was doing. She put lotion on my lower back and then put her greasy hands on my shoulders ON TOP of my shirt. I ended up with grease stains on my clothes. She had no idea how to even massage my back. She used absolutely no pressure. Then she put a wet towel on my shirt . Don't even bother going here for nails . If you can't even get a basic shoulder massage I wouldn't trust them with my nails read more

I came in here for a pedicure+ 20 minutes foot massage (34$) and definitely not worth it. The pedicure was bad, the technician barely touched my feet with the pumas stone: (the main reason to get a pedicure!! For me at least) and she looked miserable massaging my feet, literally just rubbing them up and down.. I regret not backing out of the massage then and there. 20 minutes of uncomfortableness for the both of us. read more

I love this nail salon, April, the owner is amazing and all the staff is great. Very profession. I always get UV gel with gel polish and I looks stellar and last 2 weeks without chipping. Could maybe go longer but I don't like the "grown out" look. The pedicures are great too and the massage chairs are brand new and work amazing. The whole place is soooooo clean. I also get my brows waxed with April and they look perfect. April also does my lash extensions. I can't love them enough. They look absolutely amazing. The price is great, and they last a good 3 weeks. Do not hesitate to make this your go to salon for all your beauty needs. You'll be when you leave! read more

I went to Mia for an SNS manicure and she was awesome. My nails are shaped perfectly and she did a great job on my cuticles. So glad I found her in the neighborhood. She even applied and extra layer of powder to make my nails stronger and didn't charge extra. read more
