Every character is a real-life princess and is so deeply caring with the lore and background and behavior of the world(s) they inhabit. I have been to and hosted many a Wishing Well party and I am always blown away - it truly feels like you have these characters come to life straight out of the stories and movies. Oh! And the insanely beautiful voices and dancing?? It's unreal. We most recently hosted a birthday party with Moana and when she started singing to the children the entire party went silent...the adults thought at first that she was lip-syncing to a recording and then quickly became convinced that we had worked some magic to have Moana pop right out of DIsney+ and into our lives. It was amazing. Wishing Well is amazing. Unfortunately, the performance did not meet those expectations at all. The elf did not initiate any activities and appeared disengaged the entire time. I had to constantly prompt her to interact with the children. Several kids were upset, and multiple guests commented that she was not doing her job. At one point, she was standing in one spot chewing gum, which felt extremely unprofessional. Three of my guests even offered to write reviews on my behalf because they felt so bad about the situation. Instead of enjoying my party and hosting my adult guests, I ended up managing the entertainer myself and playing with the kids to keep them engaged--completely defeating the purpose of hiring entertainment. I contacted the company immediately after the party. The party coordinator responded promptly and confirmed that the elf claimed the children "weren't interested," which is why she didn't engage. I was told the owner would contact me to resolve the issue, but I never heard from him. I would give this service zero stars if I could.
