In town for work and found this place on yelp. The place is relatively new. It is very clean inside and also busy. I was originally going to get a soup and salad but the waitress asked if I wanted the beef tips and noodles special. It came with a salad. I'm so glad I did, the beef tips were exceptional. The portion was good as well. Based on this meal and the food I see passing by my table, I will be back every time I come to town. It is "The" place to be in Durant. Staff was very accomodating. The gyro sandwich was not the same as from a place with the spit and everything.

Came in from out of town and landed here as a pit stop. The establishment is very nice, sorta Magnolia Farmish. We were hungry for breakfast and decided from the yelp reviews to give it a shot. I ordered the chicken fried steak and eggs which was delicious. They used a real steak, probably a sirloin. It was cooked to perfection. Probably one of the best I've had. My wife got the pit ham and eggs and the ham was moist and not overly salty. The toast and biscuits were great as well. I feel bad for not posting a picture but I dug right in. I'm rating this at two because the wait staff was very attentive and professional and it was very clean and decorated cute. We ordered a sampler appetizer patty melt and a hamburger. We left 2/3 of our food on the table. First I think the portion sizes are way too huge. You don't have an option to get just a hamburger or just a patty melt they throw a whole bunch of french fries with it and a pickle wedge. The onion rings zucchini and cheese stick all seem like they came out of a box. The rings and zucchini were battered with some sort of beer batter. Have eaten at Magnolia since since moving to Duant about 2 mos. ago. Love the food but if I wanted to constantly swat flies, I'd go to a park for a picnic. It's nasty and annoying as hell. I guess I won't be back until December, when the flies for the most part have hopefully gone away. read more

Visiting from Texas we tried this restaurant based on other Yelp reviews. It didn't let us down! Cute family owned restaurant with friendly servers and great food. Everything was delicious but the French fries were out of this world. Highly recommend it!! read more

OUTSTANDING SERVICE! from the owner who greeted and seated to our on point server. She was "merry and bright" just as her shirt indicated. My egg was perfectly cooked and my grits swimming in butter just like I like it. My husband had the meat lover omelette with biscuits and gravy. Biscuit was so light I thought it would float. Tried this place on the way home from a weekend trip in Durant. From the moment we walked in, we knew we made the right choice. Everyone was very friendly, it was clean, and was so cute! We ordered off of the breakfast menu-- a waffle and the cinnamon sugar French toast, I believe. The food was excellent, and reasonably priced. I have been through Durant many times but usually don't stop to eat. We Yelped this place for lunch. It is a bit off the highway but well worth the effort to get to. I had the grilled ham and cheese and their creamy tomato soup. My wife is a big fan of grits and thought theirs were excellent. Carried one of their berry cheese cakes to our family in Tulsa, it didn't last long. The staff was very polite. We will stop in again read more

I decided to try this new cafe today and it was amazing! I had the Fajita Chicken Salad. The chicken was seasoned and cooked perfectly! My only criticism is that the lettuce could be chopped up smaller but that's not worth taking a star away! Give this place a try, you won't regret it. read more

Came out to try this place, instead of eating at the casino. I had the pork chops and my husband had the club sandwich. The pork chops was delicious, perfect comfort food. The sandwich was also very good, and it had a thick slice of ham. Also had the banana pudding for dessert. Would definitely get two servings next time. The owner was very nice and made sure to check on all his customers. When we entered we were greeted with a friendly welcome. You definitely need to check out this place. I have eaten at this restaurant twice now, and it is awesome. One of the critical items I look for, being in the dish industry, is cleanliness of the kitchen area and the dish cleaning area. I have always been a supporter of Magnolia. I've been coming to them since they opened, and the food is always good. Today as I was waiting to pay, I watched every single cook go through the kitchen with no gloves or hair nets. Grabbing all the food with their bare hands. Don't get the fries, burgers, etc.. anything that can be picked up. I'm so sad to say that I won't be back. read more

The food here is absolutely amazing, the pancakes have crispy outsides, soft insides, the sausage is even better. The eggs are cooked perfectly and not greasy at all which I find to be a big problem in most other restaurants. The rib eye steak was cooked a wonderful medium rare and the corn bread was perfect. The entire menu is easy to read, the service is fast, friendly, and I love the atmosphere. It's very comforting and it's very clean. I love the waiters and they're so fun and sweet to talk to.
