For breakfast dessert, we had jelly on that biscuit we ordered. For the money - $26.95, it was a great value. That and the meal being decent scores this breakfast a score of 5 of 5. That said, we considered the buffet. It was $35 per person. For us, we made the right choice.

Mom and Pop type place, very friendly staff, prices were in line with local prices.I enjoyed the food so much it was hard to get up from the table. They sell pies and cakes. Every time we visit Choctaw Durant, we'll eat at Magnolia Cafe. Best home cooking food in Durant. We love this place and we've never been disappointed. Also, super friendly staff. For dessert, you've got to try their banana pudding. It's amazing. read more

However with that said, everyone else at the table really enjoyed their food and as I mentioned we were checked on numerous times and I was asked if I wanted them to replace it (at this time I was almost done so no need for that). Everything mentioned in this review was also discussed with Chandler and I appreciated that he took constructive criticism as well as positive feedback well.
