I've searched high and low for a groomer that I feel would make me feel assured to leave my baby with them. Magnolia Paw Spa always does such a good job with Boba. They give them lots of breaks and walks in between things they do to not stress the pups out too much. I actually like that they take 4 hours so they aren't rushing through.

Clipped nail

Brought two dogs in today for grooming. This is my second experience here and both have been negative experiences. I want to start with the first visit. The dogs had a basic grooming for their first appointment and a trim. One of my dogs had excess fur shaved on their front paws. They did not mention it when we picked them up and we only noticed when we were at home. I didn't think anything of it. Maybe it was an accident. Second visit is related to the pictures. My dogs claw is completely gone. They had it bandaged when we picked her up but I could tell in the visit when picking them up that it was wet with blood. The person there explained this happened when they muzzled my dog because they were screaming. Not unusual for shibas as a breed but mine has never screamed in my care. The incident was explained as my dog wanting to remove the muzzle and their nail was caught on the muzzle and they ripped it out. This does not look anything like that sort of scenario. This looks like neglect. They were not careful in clipping the nails and they removed the whole thing and it bled. Anyone can walk in the store and see how they clip the dogs nails. I even witnessed today there was a dog on the table and they were very careless in the clipping of nails and they were on the phone. I would never recommend this place to anyone. I will call the place back for a refund of the visit and the vet bills will be forwarded to the clinic. The person there said they would cover it when they were explaining what happened. If you can't give the dogs your full attention or care don't answer the phone or work there.

Muppy's a greeting card star!

Here's how much I appreciate Paw Spa's empathy and commitment to calming my rescue pup's nerves: We moved 1.5 hours away and tried to go to a new groomer. Big nope (PetCo; shoulda known). So we're gonna ferry all the way *back* to Paw Spa. They get down on the floor and love him up for a few minutes, and that. Is. Everything. His cuts are adorbs (see photos!). They're not the cheapest, obvs, but if you need a little extra tenderness, I would absolutely recommend them.

A friend of mine referred us to this dog salon. I looked up the website, and I saw adorable pictures of dogs with their cute little haircuts. For the first and last trim, we took our 7 month old maltese/shih tzu to Petsmart's grooming salon. Her trim was uneven, and she looked so scared after we picked her up :( But that wasn't our experience with Magnolia Paw Spa! We called to set up an appointment, and once we had arrived we had all her vaccination paperwork ready. After filling out a form, Julia came to talk to us about what we wanted done. We just asked for a basic trim and grooming. After coming back to pick her up, my dog didn't look scared at all! Julia explained everything she did for our fur baby which was nice because Petsmart literally just hands over your dog like it's a receipt or something... Lol. But anyway, my dog was so clean & well groomed! Her nails were cut and filed, her paws and face were trimmed to perfection, and she looked so happy! They also put a cute little bandana on her. I'm so happy I found a lovely place to get my dog groomed! I will definitely continue coming here, and I highly recommend that you guys bring your dogs here as well :)

I've been taking my pup to Magnolia Paw Spa since he was old enough, 8-9 times by now. Always pleased with their warm, friendly customer service - you can tell it's a local shop. Great location and no issues with parking.

Angie literally changed my life! My partner and I have a small shih tzu puppy and had another local "groomer" try to cut her hair. It was a disaster, so we came to here and everything was amazing. From checking Luna in to picking her up, all the other groomers there were also super nice and helpful even tho I didn't come as prepared as I should have. the cut itself was amazing and she walked us thru her process and why she cut certain areas the way she did. It was worth every penny and I can't even stress how good it feels to have a groomer who is super sweet and talented!

At least that is how I interpret their failure to respond to any of my inquiries. If they are no longer booking clients or responding to their website inquiries, then they should simply put a notice on their website saying, "No longer accepting new clients, for now. Thank you for your interest."

My 6 month old yorkipoo got his first grooming with Diane. Diane was attentive, calm, very good with my puppy and did an excellent job. Also, I appreciate her asking me what style of cut I wanted. I asked for a trim so his hair doesn't look like he got buzz cut. She seems to be very good with dogs. My pup left happy & even cuter then when he arrived. He received so many compliments so I'll definitely bring him back for another grooming. Little Bear Grooming will be my puppy's main go-to groomer. Can't wait to bring him back for another cut! The gentleman had on a newsboy cap and the woman had reddish hair (forgive me for not having better details, I was so sad. But the sentiment remains the same.) There are businesses you visit, and then there are places that become part of your family's story. All The Best falls firmly into the latter category. Since moving to Ballard, our dog was a regular visitor. He'd shamelessly help himself to treats from the bins, tail wagging with pure delight at his "successful" heist-- the cashiers were always so gracious. And on top of that, the store regularly hosts wonderful community events (like the wading pool they set up during farmers market days.) But it was on our dog's final day that the staff last Wednesday morning truly showed us the greatest kindness. We brought him in one last time, and they let him steal treats to his heart's content. Without being asked, they prepared a goodie bag filled with food and treats he might enjoy, and they gave me forget-me-not seeds. In a moment when I was completely broken, they showed such genuine compassion and understanding. Those treats kept Teddy calm and happy in his last moments, and I will never forget the incredible kindness of their gesture. If you're looking for a pet store where your furry family members will be truly welcomed and cherished, where the staff genuinely cares about your pet's happiness, and where you'll be treated like family, this is your place. Thank you to the team for being such beautiful souls. You've made me a customer for life.

My dog has been dealing with constipation and yellow liquid poop for 4 days for what can pass through. I am considering taking her to the vet today. They really should talk to the vendor they are receiving these from as they are obviously selling pig ears with a lot of fat or grease that is causing constipation.
