This is my 1st time in Myrtle beach. Restaurant came highly recommended on the internet. We loved the country buffet. The staff are always so warm and gracious. We had such a good meal on sat we came back on Sunday for the brunch before to try the ham and turkey. Our meal was fantastic. Don't forget their house brewed ice tea they also sell it to go. All the food is scratch made. I'm fond of the squash casserole, ham, fried chicken, collards and make and cheese. The best dessert they have is the peach cobbler and the pecan pie. It's a buffet but for health reasons I think it's nice they serve you. Next time I need to try the breakfast

Wonderful food- buffet, great service - our server was happy, speedy and brought coffee quickly. All you can Eat. We got to pick and choose in the buffet line, fresh made, good quality and the chefs dish it up on your plate. You carry your full plate back to your table. Normally, I get too much, but this time I selected just what I would eat. I asked for a few things that were new to me. Loved "field peas' our sweet server Tracy explained what they were- good southern cooking. I looked them up- good food - very healthy. We came here twice, once for breakfast and once for lunch on a different day. easy to walk to, on hotel row. For lunch- different price, you'll wait until it's ready to be served. I liked this because it was fresh. Gorgeous strawberries sold at the front counter- sweet, ripe, a bucket full!

I was down in Myrtle Beach, SC visiting the folks and since my Mother had an event of her own that night, my Pop and I decided to go to get something to eat just the two of us. Truth be told there is no shortage of places to dine in Myrtle Beach and for me, I always like to try a new place since it gives me food photos, a new experience and of course the chance to offer up a Yelp narrative and hopefully inspire the masses or heaven forbid, steer people away from the terrible. Pop and I were sat quickly and handed the menu in case we wanted from there over the buffet options but that was what we were here for. We were mostly there based on meatloaf being one of the options that particular night and I was looking forward to something hearty this evening. I made two trips to the buffet line and can say that Magnolia's does this a little differently. The customer doesn't serve themselves but the staff works the line and passes your plate down where each staffer will load up what you ask for. I imagine that this keeps the trays of food neater and not looking like a disaster. Among the choices I made were the mashed potatoes, some mac n cheese, green beans, the meatloaf, a piece of fish and some battered shrimp. All of it was very tasty and I didn't need to go back for a third visit of that stuff but did for the dessert which was banana pudding. I couldn't recall ever having that but I am sure that I did at some point in life. The place wasn't crowded at the time we went and our timing was to hopefully beat the incoming rain which we did not. Once we got outside it had started and by the time we were halfway back it was horrible. That's South Carolina for you though. It will be nice and then rain like nothing you've seen before only to clear up like it never happened. Overall a nice time at Magnolia's and I'd visit again when there is the chance to do so.

When visiting for a family beach trip, we decided to try this beloved seafood buffet. Along the strip in Myrtle Beach, the roads are lined with a plethora of Seafood Buffets ranging from small family owned to large attraction-like restaurants. Without having tried any of the other options, I would say this has to be the best in town. The atmosphere, staff, variety of food offerings, and taste were unmatched. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a unique buffet experience. The exterior of this restaurant is massive and felt like a large Shopping Center with beautiful landscaping, water features, beautiful windows, and colorful siding. Upon arrival, we were asked at the door our party size. They had two entry lines based on table sizes. Since our party was four, we were sent to the shorter line and did not even have to wait to be seated. As we were walked to our table, we passed massive sailing ships complete with rows of hot and cold foods. The ceiling was reminiscent of the ocean skies. The entire restaurant felt like an experience already. I was amazed by the theming, cleanliness, and attention to details. For adults, the buffet is right around $50/person + drinks and tax. The buffet is all-you-can-eat with mutiple serving lines placed around the vast dining hall. As a picky eater, I was honestly a little worried that the offerings would primarily be seafood options; however, I was happily surprised that the buffet line had a LARGE selection ranging from Chicken Tenders and Fries to Pulled Pork and Macaroni and Cheese. I was actually very excited to find so many of my favorite foods and be able to eat just a little of them all! Some other offerings I added to my plate include hush puppies, corn on the cob, fried fish sticks, rolls, and cheddar biscuits all in one trip. My brother is more adventurous in his selection and was able to try different fish and crab legs with multiple trips. They had almost two whole buffet areas filled with seafood dishes that I didn't even visit. His favorite was just the shrimp! They also have a whole dessert room with a wide range of sweet dishes. To be honest, some of the food was mediocre or tasted similar to standard buffet-food-quality. The macaroni was a little bland. The fries were a little soggy. However, the restaurant was so busy that food was being rotated and changed out quickly on the buffet line. Overall, the entire experience was fun and unique. The restaurant was very expensive for a family of four, especially when you're not eating over the top or making multiple trips; however, the nautical theming, food selections, and service set this buffet apart from many others. You'll find something to eat whether you're picky or love the most adventurous of seafood dishes.

I absolutely love this place and is one of my favorite places to stop before I head to Myrtle Beach. It's located in Calabash, NC so it's like 10 minutes before you get to the SC boarder. It might be shorter than that. But anyway, I love coming here obviously the food is fresh and fantastic. They have plenty of outdoor seating and it's always nice and clean. The staff is wonderful. I love that every time I've come, I'm always greeted with a warm welcome and a smile. Everything that I've tried has been great. And they have lots of options. I can see this easily being a fan favorite. And lastly the dessert. I highly recommend getting the fried pound cake and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. It's heavenly. Although, not pictured, they have a great pumpkin pie. Follow their Instagram for updates because they do close down I want to say the Thanksgiving day up until Spring so about March or April.
