    Flavorless chicken tenders

In Texas this would be a 2.5 star place. Fried chicken strips, overcooked, dry, flavorless, and burnt. The image was after they remade it. Burger... beef patty was DRY DRY DRY. Couldn't eat it. Fries were ok. Cooked good, but flavorless. Server stopped once to take food order, asked for a couple more minutes to decide on drinks, she came back 20 minutes later. Then never came back again. Another server delivered the food and the remade chicken strips.

I love everything about this place. The food is amazing, and they keep tweaking the menu to make it even better. Beer selection is good, and the cocktails are creative and delicious. You can't beat the dog-friendly patio, either.

Was in town for a concert, the Magpie was a few blocks away , sat outdoors, great food, good drinks , service was a little slow but the place was packed, every outdoor table was taken.

Parking isn't clearly marked. You have to get your own water. Two things I noticed right upon finding our table on the patio. The service was excellent! We met some friends here for brunch because of the dog friendly patio. The quart sized Bloody Caesars are delicious and the bottomless Mimosas are such that you can change up the juices used, both very tasty! Wife got the breakfast burrito. It was delicious, but I would have liked more of a wet burrito, and this would could benefit from a red sauce and extra moisture. The Avacado cream is delicious, would order again. I ordered the chicken fried steak. This dish is very popular in this area, but this is the best interpretation I have had, possibly ever. It is breaded, fried to a medium rare, and topped with this divine gravy. Will definitely order again! This is a fun place and we will definitely be back.

Nice place! Just sandwiches, not really a restaurant as much as a bar, but really good little joint.

While I'm usually an old fashioned kind of person, this time I went rogue and ordered the Fireside Chat--a decadent mix of marshmallow‑infused vodka, white chocolate, cream, and chocolate, finished with a toasted marshmallow garnish. Comforting, rich, and just indulgent enough, it paired surprisingly well with the Enbär fries. And let's talk about those fries: bring your appetite. Even the half size could easily feed a table of ravenous folks. They come with two dipping sauces of your choice, and while I felt a little bad neglecting the BBQ sauce, I could not stop going back for the habanero bacon jam. Sweet, spicy, smoky--absolute scene stealer. For dessert (or what technically landed in the dessert slot), I had the Asian salad with chicken, which was excellent--fresh, flavorful, and a nice counterbalance to all the indulgence that came before it. Great drinks, generous portions, and a warm, inviting atmosphere make Enbär a standout. Whether you're fueling up before a game or just settling in for a relaxed night out, this is a spot worth lingering in.

We were told no other tables were available and if I wanted a low top table I should've requested one in the comments when I made the reservation. I didn't see any place for special requests. The manager/owner spoke to us but offered nothing but an "I'm sorry". He could have comped our drinks. The service was rushed. We had our entrees dropped on the table before we finished our salads. The dessert came out before we were done with the entree and the bill came before we were finished with our drinks. The servers didn't know where to deliver the food. The food was decent but not exceptional. Not the special experience I hoped for. The couple next to us were delightful but they too were surprised by the seating at a communal table on a romantic holiday. I will think twice before choosing the EnBar for a special occasion.

Do you feel awkward parking at a hotel that looks like a total dump just to go upstairs to this bar? Yes, but you still should. I ended up going on my own, and came back with colleagues the last night of our trip as it's a must stop. As I'm sure we all know, what makes it fun and unique is the dancing Mermaid performances in the pool behind the bar. Such a cool concept to watch them entertain you while you enjoy a good drink. My first time in the bartender was fantastic and giving me all the history of the place, and how the pool used to just be the hotels' actual swimming pool, and guests would swim in it, no Thank you. I ordered the cranberry cherry limeade, not realizing that it was basically a bucket full of booze, equivalent to three drinks (not complaining, just forewarning) also enjoyed chatting with the bartender about how the place is haunted. Definitely gives off that vibe and total dive bar/tiki feel. I'd come back every time I'm in this town or on a road trip. 21+---although they allowed a few families to come in with kids for a minute and get a picture by the mermaids, which I thought was super cool. And yes, you can tip the maids too! I didn't get any food from the restaurant, but I heard from a few it wasn't amazing so I think this is just a dive drinking spot for me.

Most of the building is unoccupied at this time. There is no direct bathroom in the restaurant so you have to walk down the hallway. There is also a tattoo shop on the second floor. We walked in and though it was not busy took about a good 5 mins for us to be acknowledged and then told to seat ourselves any where. We ordered our drinks fast enough but it took them a bit to get to our table. There were only 6 other people in there at the time so service should not have been that slow. Once our drinks came we ordered our food. The pesto artichoke dip was unexpected. It was a good combination of pesto, artichoke and mozzarella. Next we had the deviled eggs, nothing fancy, all the eggs tasted the same even though they are "different flavors... regular, sea salt and truffle and last seasonal." We got the taco trio each. The brisket taco had excellent flavor and was very tender. The juices made my taco shell fall apart and was very messy to eat. The chicken taco was in a verde sauce and had just enough spice to not kill the flavor. Now, the ground beef taco was nothing to write home about. It tasted like I make a home, only a lot more grease. I only took one bit and could not eat more than that. I would give it another try, just maybe not the tacos.

I really liked that the sandwiches and sides came in two sizes which allowed us to try a little bit of everything. The rundown on my order: Buffalo Chicken Nachos: Nachos but with chips? Genius. Loved the Buffalo Cheese sauce the chips were smothered in. Tri-Tip Grilled Cheese: A good amount of heat from the chimichurri. A good balance of meat and cheese to remind you it's a grilled cheese sandwich with beef- not the other way around. Loaded Tots: The portion of this side was huge! I got mine with everything so it was a nice, tasty, sloppy mess of a side. The Ranch dressing for the salad was a little runny but had a great taste. I loved my sandwich and they had the right balance of basil and balsamic reduction. Don't know how they cooked this without making the bread soggy with the tomatoes. Fantastic meal tonight!!
