A week ago, I had my winter tires changed to my all-season tires, and went grocery shopping afterwards. When I got home, I noticed a scuff mark all along the body of my car. Thinking this may have happened at the dealership, I immediately drove back. I spoke to the General Manager, Brian Vorhis, who reviewed my video taped visit. It showed me driving away in an unscathed car. He said that it appears that while I was shopping, someone recklessly hit the side of my car with their shopping car. Since my car insurance has a $500.00 deductible, Brian suggested that it might be wise for me to stop by Maguire Chevrolet Cadillac Body Shop next door before involving my car insurance, to get an estimate of cost repair there first. I took his advice, and dealt with Edward Rogers, the Body Shop Manager. This gentleman took a look at the damage, and immediately said that it appears that the paint was scraped off, he would like to see if he can buff it out. And, amazingly, it worked! When I thanked him profusely, Mr. Rogers said "I always do the right thing by our customers", and refused any payment. Truck was at the body shop for repair and ended up with a new dent from maguires parking it next to…read morea scrap dumpster. They didnt fix it, they cleaned my truck half-ass and in the process broke my floor mat holder on the driver side. The door they repaired leaks air into the cabin and has a constant whistling noise when driving. I found glue in my driver side mirror from them trying to fix there piss poor job. They most definitely broke the mirror in the process of swapping it. This company does nothing for there customers and dont own there mistakes. Shop looks like the work they put out. Run-down​​

I'm not 12 years old. This was not my first car, nor was it my first decade of driving. Anyway, I test-drove a Jetta. (This location has VWs as well as Toyotas.) I couldn't tell you what color the it was, although it did handle very nicely. A sales associate rode along during the test drive and told me repeatedly what a great job I was doing at turning left across traffic and thinking to test the brakes on the car I was test-driving. I would like to once again emphasize that I'm an adult, with a driver's license, which you'd think would have been obvious to this sales associate. It's also worth nothing that I'd told him truthfully that I was looking for a replacement for the Jetta I'd already driven for 150k miles. When I said I wasn't sure looking to make a purchase that day, the sales associate said "is there anything we can do to win your heart, honey?" and -- when I continued to refuse -- added something about car buying being an "irrational decision." The 2023 Jetta did impress me, which is why I drove 90 minutes to the VW in Vestal and bought one there. Funny enough, this is almost exactly what happened in 2013. I test-drove a Jetta at Maguire, had a sales associate who only spoke to the male friend who had given me a ride to the dealership (even after my friend repeatedly tried to leave the conversation), and drove all the way to Rochester to buy the car I wanted from a sales team I actually trusted. Anyway, the 2023 Jetta's a great car: nice handling, excellent balance of torque and efficiency, and extremely safe without sacrificing a sporty feel. Buy one in Syracuse, if you're in the market.

24 hours later - Happy owners of a new Prius V Two…read more Had a great experience shopping at Maguire Toyota. Ryan Salino, the gentleman that greeted me, was very helpful and willing to take the time to explain the dealership policies and the great level of care that they take to ensure clients are satisfied with their purchase (3 days return policy, financing selection and 3-day possible change, not working for commission, lowest advertized price possible (no haggling), etc.). I initially went to the dealership simply to have a look at a used Prius V Two that was advertized on their website, but after discussing with Ryan and seeing the great incentives that Maguire was offering on a specific new Prius V Two, I took the latter for a test drive in the surrounding countryside and loved it. My wife and I ended up visiting the dealership again the next day where Ryan walked us through the processes (insurance, financing, extra protection, etc.) and, a few hours later, we drove away in our brand new car! Excellent experience - we will recommend to our friends!

I bought a 2012 Prius V with approximately 100K miles, decent shape, exterior in good shape. Three mechanics have told me it won't pass New York inspection because of severe rust throughout the frame. To replace the Master Cylinder and brakes would cost me at least $4000. The car is totaled and I'm out $9000. Should I have had my mechanic check it before I paid cash for it? Absolutely - but in all previous experiences I have never had a problem. Apparently I visit Ithaca only when there is a massive cold snap that causes problems for tire pressure monitoring systems. Again, I reached out to Audi Ithaca to see if they could help, and once again they were awesome. They checked all the tires, reset the Audi interface, and had me on my way in 10 minutes on a Saturday morning. Nice people.

The dealership sent me 2 email reminders to confirm my appt for the date and time selected. The dealership is an hour away from my home and these appointments are incredibly inconvenient to begin with. I arrived on time and as scheduled, only to be told by the attendant that they are not able to help me, as they are only doing Volvo service on this day. I was turned away without any assistance. I have 6 months left on my lease and will not be getting another Audi vehicle, because of this. I have 2 appointments with nearby BMW dealerships who are much too eager to help, why should I stay with this brand? I think this dealership dropped the ball and should be talked to about the way they do business and treat their customers.
