What an experience!! My bf and I had an amazing Valentine's Day here, perfect way to close out the weekend. I really wanna give a shout out to Pedro who really looked after us to make sure we had an incredible experience. He made sure to come to our table to take the perfect picture at sunset and always came in to drop by and see how everything was tasting. The bread was warm and fresh served with whipped butter, it was the perfect amount and it tasted so good. Crab dip was amazing with the pita bread. The snapper was well seasoned served with red pepper sauce it was the perfect combination. To end the night with the cheesecake, the portion is perfect for two to share.

Stayed at the resort for the weekend and ate at this restaurant once for dinner and twice for breakfast. Breakfast was good but nothing spectacular. The first breakfast we had good service and food was good, we had the avocado toast and all American breakfast as well as mimosas and the green juice. For our second breakfast, we did not have a good experience. First of all, we had a terrible experience with the female manager who (in a terrible way) informed one of the people in our party that they couldn't order a meal off the kids menu. She just had mouth surgery and can't eat much so we didn't want to have to pay for a full meal that she wasn't going to eat all of. The reasons she gave us for not being able to order the meal were stupid and unprofessional. Our server also barely gave us a second thought. Took forever to get her attention and ask for things/the bill. We had a much better experience for dinner. Angelina was our server and she was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience, to the point that she even let us use her own personal bug spray because we were getting attacked by mosquitos. She offered to take numerous pictures of us as the sun was setting and actually took good pictures! The food and drinks were mouth watering. Everything we ordered was sooo yummy. We really had an amazing dinner experience. And the views....at sunset are to die for!! Make sure to ask for a seat outside in the sand, under the twinkle lights.

This a review for breakfast. Parking was easy and its a short walk to the restaurant. We got seated quickly at an out door table. The view was great. They are quick to refill your water but not so quick the coffee. The food was generally very good. A few minor items that we didn't feel needed correction. My son had an undercooked poached egg and the avocado toast was more arugula than avocado, otherwise no complaints. We were a party of five and there was a 20% service charge on the bill but the usual tip percentages recommended. This wasn't explained, or noted and honestly, I couldn't be bothered to ask. Just a bit annoying. Despite these minor annoyances, the location, view, and general decent quality of the food made for a nice breakfast.

If you're in Marathon, this spot is an absolute must-visit. There's simply no better place to watch the sunset--the views are breathtaking, the atmosphere is incredible, and the staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. That said, the food isn't the main attraction. It's decent, but nothing that would bring me back on its own. We all finished our meals, so it's not that anything was bad--I was just expecting more. I'd definitely return with someone who hasn't been before because the setting is that stunning, but I wouldn't go out of my way to visit solo. Come for the views and ambiance--you won't be disappointed. Side note: it is a little annoying watching the sunset and people gathering near your table but what are you going to do about it??

WE are staying at Isla Bella so we did dinner one night for our anniversary and then breakfast the next day. Both times we sat on the covered patio to take in the water views. The service was great for dinner slightly slow for breakfast but I chuck it up to them being busier and rolling into the weekend. The food was delicious and when we come back we would eat here again.

I love this place but I definitely got food poisoning last night from my shrimp Alfredo dish. Such a beautiful location. Let's see if I am contacted by the restaurant.

There were multiple areas where Mahina fell flat. We originally called to update our reservation from four to five and were told that wouldn't be possible due to four-seating tables. Upon arrival we notified the restaurant of our party size increase and were seated, without issue, at a SIX-seater. Beyond that mild annoyance, the main thing we noticed was that restaurant emitted a strange odor, similar to a public restroom. The service was okay. But the food was mediocre, at best. One person in our party sent their food back because it was not prepared as requested. When the food returned, it was still prepared incorrectly. I ordered the jumbo coconut guava shrimp (app) and coconut rice (side), which came up to about $28 which was overpriced for the quality. The shrimp was under cooked and partially mushy in areas. I also ordered the butterscotch and dark chocolate lava cake which didn't flow at all. The lump crab cake was also mildly disappointing. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.

Amazing food and service! House is the most OUTSTANDING server at the place!! He deserves a raise!!

The restaurant was just okay overall. The food could have been much better. I ordered the lobster bisque, which was extremely salty. The crab dip was mostly cream cheese with very little crab, and the appetizer took about 30 minutes to arrive. The main entrées were very disappointing. I paid $75 for a lobster tail that was very small and came with two shrimps, literally two. To make matters worse, my lobster had a hair in it. When I asked about the portion size, they claimed the lobster was 7 oz, which honestly didn't seem accurate. They ended up bringing out a different fish for me, but it tasted like catfish. My entrée was also incorrect--I asked for jasmine rice and was served mashed potatoes instead. My husband's ribeye wasn't good either and looked very chewy. Service was inconsistent. The server would check in and then disappear for about 20 minutes at a time. Dessert (key lime pie) was okay, but I've definitely had better.

Service was nice. We came in late for breakfast but they accommodated us. The staff was helpful in recommending a good beach spot near by.

We were staying here for the week and decided to give the restaurant on the property a try since it was too stormy to venture out. We started with a salad that was delicious. Then had the seared tuna and fried snapper both of which were fantastic and gave us the taste of fish we were looking for to start our trip. The staff was friendly and attentive. The restaurant was a bit empty but it was a rainy Tuesday. Would definitely try if you're staying at isla Bella!

Overall the ambiance is wonderful! The patio seating is great would request beach if given option. Sunset is excellent. Service is just eh... they really tried but missed the mark on a few things. The food was also just eh ... mostly for the price you pay one expects a delicious blend of flavor not just meat and potato. The bread service they tried to be hip with beet and potato breads but just fell flat. I think the flavors just need amped up!

We vacationed to Isle Belle in December for 4 nights and two of the nights we ate dinner at the Mahina because it was amazing! Besides the obvious beautiful views, the staff and food were 10/10. First, the hostess was so sweet! The first time we ate at Mahina, we requested outdoor seating and she sat us at the far right corner table facing the bridge (best table in the entire restaurant in my opinion). The second time we ate there, I asked for the same table as she was about to seat us elsewhere and she accommodated immediately. She also took photos of us by the water and told us about the blankets that they offer if we get cold!! Second, the food was sooo good. From the apps, dinner, and dessert everything was delicious! Third, I don't remember the waitresses names but both nights, we had good service... Some reviews say their service/food wasn't good which is so surprising! But note we visited this restaurant in December and I could count the guests on my fingers (the restaurant/hotel wasn't busy at all). Fourth, the views!!!!! Breathtaking. Can't wait to come back here one day :)

Instead, I stumbled upon Koana Tiki Bar--a hidden little chamber of tropical enchantment tucked away from the ordinary world. As Miami's only tiki bar, Koana is surprisingly well themed. It is a smaller establishment, which explains why reservations are required, but the intimate setting only adds to the charm. Once inside, the outside world seems to disappear beneath warm lighting, exotic décor, and the unmistakable feeling that something mysterious is being prepared behind the bar. The food is available, but Koana truly shines through its drink menu. The team has clearly done its research and assembled some serious heavy hitters. My companions and I visit whenever we're in Miami, and we've sampled nearly every drink on the menu. I have yet to encounter a bad one. They are fairly priced for Miami, though their strength should not be underestimated. These are not casual refreshments--they are potent little potions disguised as tropical cocktails. The staff is always kind, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable. They're happy to explain the drinks and guide you toward something that suits your taste, whether you seek something sweet, sour, smoky, fruity, or powerful enough to summon your ancestors. During my visit, I combined several ingredients from the menu into a highly experimental concoction. After one sip, my allergies vanished completely. After the second, I could smell colors. By the third, I was convinced the palm trees were speaking to me in ancient tongues. I have no idea what was in that drink, but my sinuses were clear, my spirit was elevated, and I briefly achieved enlightenment beneath a decorative tiki mask. Reservations are essential, the drinks are strong, and the bar is small--but Koana is absolutely worth seeking out. Just be certain you're prepared for whatever spirits may answer when you raise your glass.

Guess the insight here is Kaona draws folks who so totally want to be there and participate in the nightly celebrations that it becomes contagious, spreading from table to table with smiles, laughter, and cameras. Oh yeah, and did I mention the cocktails? I feel the term 'artisan' is so overused nowadays that I avoid using it, so can we just go with the Bill & Ted description that Kaona's tiki drinks are "Most Excellent!" Will non Gen-Xers get that last reference???

All the staff were extremely nice and attentive The only negative I could say was that the reception/lobby building was a little hard to find, but it wasn't that bad. After checking in, everything else was great. We booked a cabana in the main pool which was large enough that we weren't really splashed or annoyed by little kids, and there were a lot there considering it was 4th of July weekend. The other pools were also nice, and just plain rectangular pools with lounge chairs around. They also have an over 21 pool which was pretty private and was great for an alternative to the large pool if the kids had been an issue. The resort has the nicest hotel store I've ever seen and they make fresh salads and sandwiches and had pastries and coffee and gelato along with other resort wear and items you may have forgotten. In that building you can book kayaks, padddle boards, jet skis, fishing etc. We wanted to do paddle boarding but the oars had melted from the heat, so we kayaked and melted ourselves from the heat but it was great and reasonably priced. There is beach access as well and the staff did a great job of cleaning the seaweed from the beach, however, the water was too warm to enjoy. Luckily the pools were perfect temps. Food and drinks were good, not crazy prices for a resort on July 4th. They had live music that was great and in multiple locations. Overall, we are 100% coming back for a day pass and will likely book a weekend at the hotel in the future.

The bathtub appeared to have been reglazed and was showing signs of wear to the point that it looked filthy. Both toilets had deep gauges in the bowels making them look dingy. This hotel not only charges a resort fee but they charge for parking and a game fee. I still don't know what the resort fee was for because the WiFi was non-existent. Breakfast was included but you cannot go over $60 which I thought was easy until you see they charge $19 for pancakes!!!!! If you want to be nickel and dimed this is the place for you. We ate dinner here one night and we were not wowed. The Mohana restaurant lacks attentive service for the prices they charge.

What a disappointment. We staid here due to the over hype…read moreof people announcing the resort as "amazing" online. The restaurants did not deliver, the day we arrived we visited Quinn's. We were sat on a high top table after we said we had 3 small kids. I asked if the high chair was as high as the table and we were told yes. To my surprise when the high chair came it was the height of a regular chair to which my toddler kept sliding off. We ordered the kids food first so it would come out "quicker". The food took about 45 mins to an hour to come. When I mentioned I had a shellfish allergy I was told I could not eat their French fries, I could not have anything that was fried since it was all with the same oil. I ordered the burger on their menu which after waiting for my food I was told I could also not have that. I ended up eating a regular cheese burger. We said we wouldn't return, but at dinner time there are apparently 5 restaurants at the resort. Some don't allow children, another requires a dress code, so in reality you have 3 restaurants to choose from. We returned to Quinn's for dinner, where we waited an hour for our food after ordering. We were told the kitchen was backed up, but the restaurant was not full and mind you there are 5 other restaurants on property. When our food arrived, the ceviche that was ordered was completely dry. To be honest the food was below average. I'd recommend anyone staying here to eat OUTSIDE the hotel. We also tried the other restaurant the Polynesian one. The food was average, it also took a very long time. On the third evening we dinned outside of the hotel and the service was much better. The services from the waiters was fine however the kitchen needs to improve. The breakfast restaurant with the buffet is designed so you pay the high price of $44 for a buffet. We ordered something from the regular menu because some people weren't going to eat enough to make the $44 worth it. The food took so long, it's almost as if they do it on purpose so you're more likely to choose the buffet, pay extra to get your food immediately. Mind you, some of the things ordered were waffles, which were available on the buffet side immediately made. For the $600-$1000 that this hotel costs a night. I do not find the service and attention worth it. The rooms need upgrades, staff takes a long time to answer the phone, however when you call from and outside line, they answer immediately. You're better off staying at the Hilton, and paying less.

Located in the pool area of the Kimpton Surfcomber, this event consisted of two rows of different local cocktail bars enticing us with their Tiki-style creations. Whether served in a pineapple, flavored with banana or mango, whether sweet and spicy, all were delicious. We did have to pick a favorite, and for me that was Vista's "Banana Bobby". With the enhancement of D'Usse Cognac (yes I even semi sang THAT line from Jay-Z's song), Mint, Angostura & Cinnamon this was a perfect drink. A lot of the booths had great aesthetics whether smoke or a dinosaur :) Don't sleep on the food either.
