They came without a vacuum and there is a damage in my hardwood floor!! I hired this cleaning service based on their great Yelp reviews, but my experience was extremely disappointing. For starters, the shower doors were still dirty after the cleaning, which is one of the main areas I expected to be spotless. Additionally, several of my glass end tables were left with visible spots, even though I specifically requested attention to detail on those surfaces. The service I paid for included cleaning five bedrooms, but the two young ladies who showed up only wanted to clean four of them. I had to call the company back to get a refund for the one bedroom they refused to clean, which was a frustrating and unnecessary hassle. Given their glowing reviews, I expected much better. Unfortunately, their level of cleanliness and professionalism fell far short. I won't be using their services again and wouldn't recommend them to others. I contacted several cleaners on short notice for a weekend job and went with Amy at Maid 4 You because she is very responsive and courteous, communicates effectively, prices the job fairly, and is an absolute mastermind when it comes to details. I am giving Amy a 4.5 star with the half star taken off only because her employees are not as experienced or detailed as Amy, and it really shows in their work. It took 3 visits and 10 people to finally get the entire job done. Day 1: I was extremely impressed by Paola and Victor's work on my master bathroom, particularly the double shower! They removed 15 years of hard water, calcium, and soap residue on the sliding glass doors that I have tried and failed to clean using all kinds of google and youtube videos. They also did good work on vacuuming the carpet, cleaning the ceiling fans, dusting light fixtures, wiping a dozen vents, scrubbing the bathroom sinks and faucets, and got the stove about 60% clean. With that said, they were on the job for 3 hours and did not do the other half of the work. Day 2: Amy arrived the next day and cleaned the lower level entry area of cobwebs, but could not stay. She directed a second set of employees and left Marcia to supervise. They scrubbed the closet shelves, cleaned the medicine cabinet, removed cobwebs, wiped some windows, wiped the countertops, wiped closet shelves, and did other unsightly tasks. They were on the job for about 2 hours and it was 75% complete. Day 3: On the 3rd visit, Amy took lead and got the rest of the job done. She and her team cleaned the microwave and stove, cabinet interiors and exteriors, secondary showers/tubs, sliding doors to the porch, black bbq station soot, and much more. The oven was the star of this cleaning day, though it was a miracle that the black soot came off after power washing at 280° failed. Whatever their secret cleaning ingredient is, it works!! Shawn from Brown's carpet cleaners was subcontracted and did a phenomenal job shampooing the carpet in 3 bedrooms and 2 stairs. I highly recommend Brown's. Thank you Shawn for the efficient and effective work, and Amy for the connection! I highly recommend Maid 4 You. I love supporting local businesses, women owned businesses, and small businesses. If Amy trains her existing employees to even 80% of her level of expertise and detailing, her business would take off. We've had several house cleaners service our home before - referrals from neighbors, family and even online - and for years we AND them had also struggled with that type of tile in our bathrooms. It's beautiful but hard to clean and maintain abs very neglected sadly. We were grateful and blessed to come across Amy and her wonderful ladies. The team of ladies did an incredible job, it's the difference of the people, their knowledge AND the products they use. Obviously they had the experience and knew what they were doing. They did all the bathrooms and kitchen and left them spotless. Amy is the best! We barely had our renovation done when we started looking for cleaners who could clean the house before we move in. Amy responded right away and even said that she would like to drop by our place to give us an accurate quote. The moment she stepped in, she started running her fingers on the wall, baseboards, inside the cabinets and drawers, windows, fans, etc. She gave us an estimate of how much time she needed to go through the entire house. When we said that we have a budget, she gave recommendations on what we should have cleaned and what we can do on our own if they run out of time. She even showed us how to pull out our windows to give us an idea of how we can clean it if we don't have the budget for it (they include the windows as part of their service and not as a separate fee per window -- big plus!). She was very thorough in explaining what her team was going to do. My husband and I booked and they got to work the very next morning! They were very thorough and clean. Her team was very nice. They even brought an air scrubber to help get rid of the dust around our house and they allowed us to use it even after they finished cleaning (they found out we have a baby so Amy was very gracious to allow us extended use of the air scrubber). I'm glad they she lives near our area so we'll for sure book their service again (and again)! I hired Maid for you to do a deep cleaning and clean the windows. I told the scheduler that my house is weird and has two sets of windows in each frame and he laughed and said he could still charge the same price. He said this again on a second call before booking. Then, when the cleaners arrived I got a call saying the price would be higher due to the double windows. He argued with me and said it was just a quote and he told me that, which he did not. I was absolutely hoodwinked by a false quote despite understanding what the house was like well in advance and double checking. Then when I came home, the cleaning was ok, but not great. The kitchen floor doesn't appear to even be mopped let alone deep cleaned. Do not recommend. So I booked an appointment with Amy and she mentioned there's a $25 off first cleaning okay cool. I had to cancel because something came up and she then wants to mention a $75 cancelation fee which was never mentioned before. I also did cancel before 24 hours. I mentioned that to her never heard from here. I texted recently no response but then responded through yelp and voice-mail. I told her I needed something this week she mentions Monday. So ok let me know if any cancelation this week she messages me through yelp again she'll call me at 8am she may have today.
