The workers here are garbage. They order food from places and then leave their trash on the floor in the parking lot. Must be company policy as the van had THREE employees inside disposing their trash on the parking lot floor. NOT the people you should trust to clean your place for you. Sophia squeezed me in last minute. My spouse and I both work 50+ hrs a week, I was leaving to go to a conference for the weekend. I just couldn't keep up with the housework. They did a great job. I can't explain what a relief it was knowing that when I come home on Sunday my house is already clean for the week and all I have to focus on is work. Overall, professional, accommodating, and thorough. Will use again when I'm in a bind! Oh also, they're very responsive. I called them looking to have some serious dusting and mopping done before a weekend party. They came over for a little less than 2.5 hours (3pm to 5:20pm) with 2 people and one supervisor (Sophia). At $65/hr, I was expecting professional work. All bathrooms in the house were recently (1 week prior) remodeled so bathroom cleaning was very light. Kitchen appliances also are new so no heavy work there. I specifically asked Sophia to have them focus on the mopping, vacuuming, and dusting in the common areas. After they were done, I had to point out spots on the floor that were still dusty. The mopping they did was very light - I didn't even notice the floors to be wet at any point during their cleaning. I also pulled down cob webs (well within my reach) and pointed out areas that were covered in pretty heavy dust. The absolute worst was when I walked into the bedroom and found the dirty bathroom floor mats on our bed. Really WTF?! Who puts dirty bathroom floor mats on someones bed? I mentioned that to Sophia and she simply said "oh, I'll mention it to them..." In the end I had to go over much of their work myself. They were a complete waste of my time and money. To make things worse in the end, Sophia, when calculating the cost of the work, rounded the 2 hours and 20 minutes up to a little more than 2 and a half hours so that she could bill me $165 ($65/hr). Whatever. They can take my money just this one time but never again. And this review is to help prevent others from making my mistake. read more

I called on Tues. Sophia was able to stop by on Wed. to give me a quote and she was able to squeeze me in on Thurs. for a deep clean due to a cancellation. She came by with a team of three others. We have a small two bedroom one bath apartment, but it needed some serious cleaning. It took them about 2 hours. She doesn't require that you sign a maintenance contract and allowed me to customize to the services that I needed. My husband and I were really pleased with the service. Sophia is very friendly and easy to work with. I would definitely recommend them if you live in the Fremont area. read more

I recently attended a family function at my in-laws in Fremont. I couldn't believe the difference. What had changed? They started getting regular service from Scrubb-a-dub-dub several months ago. They come in weekly and their house, which always made me feel vaguely uncomfortable, is now cleaner than mine! They called the day before to confirm and we waited but they never showed and there was no phone call to say sorry. Had three other cleaning services come in to estimate since I did not want to unfairly rate this service. The hope was to upgrade my review. After three quotes at one-half the price charged. I was a little taken back. Tried a service. Cleanliness the same and no pressure to pay ahead of time. Also cleaner said inspect and pay tomorrow. We paid after service and received call asking if there were any touch up needed. Reminder this was at half of price, no blank stares, and no demand to pay ahead of time. read more

Scrub-a-dub-dub has been cleaning our house every week for the past two months. We couldn't be happier: they do an exceptionally good job at a very reasonable price. We have two big dogs and two cats, so the house ends up with a lot of dirt and hair everywhere even after a week, but it's always spotless after they come. They are reliable, good with pets and hard working, pretty much everything you we were looking for in a cleaning service. We have been very please with them. They say you get what you pay for. This was NOT the case when I contracted Scrubb-a Dub-Dub to do a deep clean in my house, after getting my floors re-surfaced. Although my showers and oven were sparkling, the basic things I asked for were not completed. I knew there would be dust on the walls so although you may not have seen it with a quick swipe, I asked for a dusting of the walls, afterall, there was no furniture to dust. Yet when I was moving furniture back in, I noticed a streak across a lower wall where someone had probably rubbed against while walking by. I also found several small cobwebs, in the bathroom and behind doors, towards the bottom of the door itself. I also found a cobweb in an iron brace of a shelf and some dust along the flat top "housing" of set of blinds. I then noticed that my kitchen (ceiling) fan had not been touched at all. I was able to clean the cobwebs and dust my walls as I moved things back in and was happy that Sophia sent someone back to clean my kitchen ceiling fan, but 1) I never received an apology for missing these things or the inconvenience of having to have a person return and 2) I definitely feel I was over-charged and did not receive a "deep-clean". read more

6 stars if possible. I am a landlord whose tenant just moved out and I needed a quick clean to get the next tenant in as soon as possible. I called Scrub-A-Dub-Dub Cleaning and Sophia was willing to come in THE NEXT business day. I did not know what to expect since I have never hired a maid service before but I wasn't expecting much given the condition of my apartment. I had mold on the windows, dirty doors, filthy bathroom, etc. Sophia from Scrub a Dub was prompt and on time for our scheduled meeting. I let Sophia and her assistant go to work and came back in a couple of hours. WOW. I did not expect all of the mold to be off the windows, the cobwebs off of the fan, sparkling clean bathroom and kitchen, spotless windows, appliances, and carpet, the list goes on. These ladies pay really close attention to detail and are worth every single penny. They were even courteous enough to wear shoe covers since I just had the carpet shampooed. They offer very competitive rates especially considering it would have taken me 5 times as long in addition to buying cleaning products to do the same job. Well I have tried so many cleaning services and this was worst among all. Whether it's about the level of cleaniness or money. They charged me 300 dollars for 2 bedrooms , 2 bath double story home, which was way too much from the other services I have used. There were yellow solution stains on my pot, the shower area and sitting bench in the shower area was wet ,though the boss of the group said that's clean but my idea of cleaniness includes a dry bathroom and dru bench. I could still see my dog hair on my carpet . I am not happy. I had to call them in the moment of crisis but will definitely never call them again. Plus i tjink cleaning services are only required if you are home is a little messy or not clean so when the owner said the front glass door or the kitchen was dirty when I walked in , than I would say yes it was not super clean and that's why I hired a cleaning service .I wonder if people get the service for already cleaned houses. We moved to a new house recently and got the move-in cleaning. I was told it would be per hour for move in clean so I expected around 3 to 4 crew coming and do the job. I was surprised to see Sophia and only one helper showed up to clean the house. It took them 5 hours to clean the house and at the end I was not satisfied with the cleaning job which generally is a 2 to 3 hour job for 3 people. Since I agreed for hourly then I had to pay a big bill for cleaning. I was happy that they used sanitizing wipes and disinfected the whole place but since it was a 2 member crew the cleaning was not upto a professional standard. There were some parts of the refrigerator that were left out. Overall Iam not impressed but only consolation was they disinfected the whole house by using disinfectant wipes. read more

We've been extremely happy with Scrubb-a-dub-dub cleaning. They started out with a 2 hr whole house cleaning, then moved to the just bathroom maintenance level that we have booked them for on a biweekly basis. They seem more flexible than other cleaning services (I had a few tell me they wouldn't do just bathrooms). They've also been very responsive when I've asked them to focus on particular problem areas here or there. We've never been neat freaks, but we just couldn't maintain a standard of bathroom cleanliness that I found acceptable. I needed a cleaning service that was going to use only my cleaning materials, clean with green cleaning supplies and be very particular. My husband thought I would never find a cleaning service that addressed all my needs. I agreed with him but after meeting Sophia I realized that I didn't have to compromise! She didn't think I was crazy and listened to all my needs and she and her team has met them consistently for every cleaning over the past couple of years.
