Wow. We had lots of stains on the carpet - many of them coffee stains, and numerous office chairs with various food and drink stains. ShineBrite came in and did an excellent job. Best cleaning service hands down! I have only had this service for about 3 months now and I currently have opted for monthly cleanings. I found Shinebrite through Yelp while I was browsing through tons of cleaning service options (super overwhelming). I decided to go with Shinebrite after reading the reviews and everything is 100% true. From the beginning Jesse was very responsive and I was able to schedule a walk through to get a quote right away. Jesse was very informative in regards to what cleaning products would be use for each area/surface. It was quick and easy and I was quoted right away. The price is definitely a steal for what you get! It is really nice that they keep consistency with the same person each clean because you get really comfortable with them! I absolutely love Margo!!! She comes on time if not early on the scheduled cleaning day. I have been using ShineBrite for a long time - the better part of a decade across two different houses. I brought them in to replace another company who had gotten worse over time. The first house was a 2,004 sqft two story with a pretty open and straight forward floor plan. The new house we've moved into since is 3,500 sqft across three stories with a complex floor plan and a ton of books and crannies that are hard to keep track of much less keep clean. And that's before you throw in my hooligan young kids who have a superhuman ability to make our house look like a tornado came through in less than a day. Through all of it, Maria has been our primary cleaner. She is a rockstar and so is her boss, Jesse, who runs the company. The attention to detail is outstanding. The thoroughness and professionalism during EVERY single visit is first rate. There was one time long ago that one of the cleaners broke something in our house. Nothing big. Just a small whatever it was; honestly I don't even remember now what it was! And it was fine that happened; we're all human and accidents happen. But I mention this because it was -- to my great surprise -- the most effortless and painless process to get reimbursed for it. Seriously. No questions really asked, just an easy and supportive experience like EVERY interaction I've ever had with Jesse's company. Oh. And they're very accommodating. When we moved to this place we actually moved a few miles outside of their service area. But Jesse made it work. Seriously. I'm going to be bold enough to say...YOU NEED THIS SERVICE. or you at least NEED to TRY it out. I have a 1 year old boy and I am currently 5 months pregnant. There just isn't enough time in the day to clean the way I would like to. I have time to clean and straighten up the bathroom..but I don't always have time to wipe down the walls and scrub the shower doors so they are completely see through. I have time to wash the dishes and put them away, but I don't always have time to scrub all the little nooks and crannies of the sink and around the stove---you get my point. (Every mom knows, cleaning is an endless cycle!) ShineBrite came in and did exactly what their name says. The women who cleaned my home were extremely professional and they paid attention to the details that were important to me. All I had to do was fill out the questionnaire on their website. Not only did they dust, disinfect, and scrub--they left little touches of love. Here's a small list of what I was impressed with: -Folded my toilet paper end into a triangle like they do at hotels. -Rolled my bath mats for me letting me know they were scrubbed under. -Wiped down my garbage can in the restroom. -Dusted blinds. -Degreased all of the liquid laundry detergent left on the shelf in the laundry room. -Vacuum lines! My wife and I have used ShineBrite for about half a year and it's been great! Specifically, we're on a recurring cleaning schedule with them (1 cleaning every two weeks). The recurring schedule has been awesome for us because my wife and I barely have time to think due to work so it's nice to know Shinebrite will swing by at the same time without us having to schedule it. The quality of their work is unmatched. We've used 2 other cleaning services and they don't come close. Shinebrite gets in all of the little nooks and crannies and they clean super thoroughly. My wife usually comes home before me and I will get a text from her saying "OMG THE PLACE IS SO CLEAN!" Shinebrite has also been super flexible. We had to skip a cleaning in the past and it was no problem for them (we were on vacation for a month). I would 100% recommend Shinebrite. First of all, I want to say that Jesse and team have been providing quality service to us for several years. Their cleanings are not always perfect (if you care about surfaces being dusted, you better make sure they are CLEAR), but in my opinion they made up for shortcomings in other ways. They were very easy about rescheduling for different days which was a lifesaver. The level of professionalism from Jesse was always high. I am sorry to say that we recently were told that they will no longer be able to service our particular apartment due to "staffing issues." They did not give much notice for us to find a new service, and they would not give a referral. This was disappointing and frustrating, as I am almost in my third trimester of pregnancy, and the luxury of having cleaning services is something that seems more of a necessity right about now (though I know that it is not truly a necessity). We were told that this was not the case, but we are wondering if the real reason is that our apartment is just not worth it to the company given the square footage and what they could charge us. We live in central Fremont so I can't see how location would be an issue. We would have paid more just to continue with the services! Now we are starting from scratch. Anyway, I just wanted to make others aware of this as they search for a cleaning service. This may have been an isolated incident, but it seems unlikely. read more

We were with ShineBrite Cleaning for 3, maybe 4 years? I loved the original walk through and their offer to tailor services to my specifications. (Clean the frig out once a month, make sure to wipe down the leather couch with leather safe wipes) However, in reality our monthly cleanings were not always consistent and did not follow the original plan set out in the walk throughs. There have been times when I felt like a cleaning was haphazard, incomplete and greatly overpriced. So what I will say is this: it depends on the individual cleaner you get. For a few years there through Shinebrite we had a committed housekeeper, Rosa, who was diligent and hardworking. In order to make it work I scaled back my expectations somewhat (I can be type A, I'll allow this), always expressed thanks and gave her an annual, fairly modest bonus (approximately 1 extra paycheck for her in December) and decided to appreciate that I had an honest, hardworking women willing to come in to my house once a month and help out with manual labor items like cleaning the bathroom and kitchen. Rosa has departed and now we will be departing as well. In December we had a new housekeeper and a new walk through. Of course the new housekeeper did not perform numerous items on the list, did not even finish what would be considered typical services (sweeping and mopping) and did not report to her supervisor that she had run out of time. In order to fix this I would have had to follow up with them and request additional services. As it was the week before Christmas, I decided to push it off until after the holiday. Well that was a mistake. As it turned out starting literally the day after Christmas my life went to hell in a hand-basket (12/26 my mother went to the hospital for 10 days, ever since she's been undergoing chemotherapy, in and out of the hospital for myriad complications; also separately our family has become embroiled in a excruciatingly painful lawsuit). The straw that broke the camel's back: their payment process is terrible. They only accept ONE method of payment: check by mail to be sent in an envelope left by the housekeeper. You cannot submit payment directly to the housekeeper. They send you an email invoice but you cannot submit payment online via credit card. Well, the new housekeeper failed to leave the return envelope for payment (this has happened many times). So I had to drum up my checkbook, an envelope, a stamp and my computer with access to my email to find their address, which since I've been spending my time away from the house at my mother's and such, took me quite a few weeks to accomplish. What seems obviously easy becomes an ordeal when there are more important things going on. So we will be looking for a housekeeper with whom we can pay by cash directly or a company that accepts cc online payments for service. Good luck finding a housekeeper that works for you. Really, I honestly believe it boils down to the individual who is actually working in your home. Who employs them is (mostly) irrelevant. read more

Great cleaning service! I just had my first deep cleaning through them and the difference in my place is already like night and day. Jesse, Victor, and their cleaning team did an excellent job with the details; making our beds, cleaning our trash cans, taking out the trash, in addition to making sure everything was spotless!
