I've been a customer for many years. At this time this review doesn't address the quality of work, but the issues with the website. I've used both Chrome and Edge browsers to attempt to get into the website to make a payment and I can't get it. Sometimes I can get in via my iphone, but for the most part I can't get in. I have been looking to have my house cleaned forever since my kids are teens now, they don't want to help or they don't clean how I like it! Perfectly Maid is one of 6 businesses that I called for a quote or who came over. Perfectly Maid was the best rated by Yelpers but I was skeptical as who cleans like you do or without complaint? I spoke to Rosa and she was very easy to talk to and knew what I wanted. She gave me a quote on the phone which I was very surprised to be the lowest of all! She stated she didn't need to come over and check my house. She would guarantee the price she gave for the cleaning. That is like 2 stars for me! The came today which is a Friday. I was surprised they would be available? They came on time. Two ladies, Dulce and Maria was their name who were professional and courteous. They cleaned in detail and did everything I needed for my first deep cleaning. They just needed garbage bags and paper towels but they provided all the cleaning supplies needed. If you have a special cleaner for like our frig, you just need to tell them. There was my small frig that was missed but everything was so clean, it didn't matter! That can be done the next time. My big frig, oven and stove top was almost sparkling since I have not cleaned it in awhile. I have before and after pictures. 2 more stars here... Dulce was left to clean the rest later in the day and saw her before she left. She asked if everything was satisfactory. I asked how to pay them and said just pay online if you want and then left. That surprised me!! I could have been an awful customer and just not pay them but they trusted that I would and left. Of course, I paid them but who really does that now and days?! I expected much more from my first time using this cleaning service, especially after I was referred to Rosa and her team, and by looking at the Yelp reviews. Something is clearly amiss. I called Rosa and hired her to clean a new house that we were moving into. Requested services included: - Deep cleaning of all bathrooms - Hardwood floor mopping / cleaning - Kitchen counter / sink deep cleaning - Light switchplates - Interior window cleaning Other reviewers made it seems like Rosa herself would be onsite, so after easily booking an appointment with her via phone, she assured me that all would be taken care of. A bit to my surprise, it was not Rosa who shows up for the cleaning appointment, but rather a team of two women who barely spoke English! They came with one bucket, a mop, broom, and a few cleaning supplies, and after showing them the tasks in the areas to be cleaned, they immediately began asking for a stepping stool, trash bags, and paper towels - none of which I had easily on hand, since everything was still packed away. They cleaned the bathrooms and floors adequately, but I was disappointed that after cleaning the floors, they dumped the dirty water back into the kitchen sink (after the sink had already been cleaned!). See photo. P.S. Following the cleaning, I called Rosa to express my dissatisfaction with the service, and was informed that the team does not bring paper towels nor trash bags with them. I wish she had told me this in advance. After 3 weeks from the last visit I texted her to reschedule another and she told me that she forgot to text me to tell me that the ladies that came to clean last could not stand the smell of my dogs and it was making them sick. I find this hard to believe being I am a clean freak and my house is always spotless and so are my dogs! And why am I hearing this after 5 visits of the same ladies consecutively cleaning? And why did Rosa fail to tell me until three weeks after I reached out for her to schedule another cleaning appointment? And maybe I should add Rosa herself spent a substantial amount of time for her initial assessment and never said a word about my dogs or any smells!! Guess why? Please note: We have had this issue with our current set of cleaners. Just spoke to Rosa who said she'll see if she can set me up with the ladies we had the inital time. It may not work out only because we can only do Saturday cleanings. But here are the current assessment. Pros: House is in a more satisfactory condition Initial cleaning was great! (fell short each incremental time) Cons: They wont take off shoes (we have children, not ok) Inconsistent - one time they'll really get the dusting well other times they miss half the house Never put things back Miss vacuum spots. Could it be that my toddler's food is still idling on the carpet? Dusting is a cloth, just pushes dust off not like she uses a swifter that catches the dust so dust is in the air Definitely smells like chemicals but light Bathtub not thoroughly cleaned. I've used Perfectly Maid a couple of times for a massive house cleaning, the first for our housewarming party two years ago and again just last month (6 months after our baby was born). The owner, Rosa, answered the phone on the first ring, was accommodating in scheduling an appointment to view our house and generate a quote based on our specific needs, and had availability for the cleaning within the same week. Everything was done during the work week, which may be a slower time for them. We were quoted 12 hours for our cleaning job, and the 2 ladies they sent finished within that time. It cost $300 for our 2,800 square foot house - and this included some special requests like wiping the windows from the inside, cleaning our ceiling fans, wiping down the washer and dryer (totally icky) and polishing the chandelier (extremely tedious and precarious). I was at work, but my husband was at home during the cleaning. He said that he had to remind the crew of a couple of things, but overall he reported that they were thorough and very hard working. They came with a vacuum cleaner and some basic cleaning supplies, but upon our request, used our specific items. We provided them with paper towels (which we had clarified in advance with Rosa). When I came home from work, I was pleased to find a well-scrubbed house. I kept touching random spots to find anything that was missed and really couldn't find anything. Everything was squeaky clean. They even scrubbed out goop that I thought could not be scrubbed away. The maids were careful to put back most, if not all, of the things that they had moved in the process of cleaning, but that wasn't a problem. We've hired some other individuals through word of mouth (these people worked for themselves and not part of a company) and while they charged much less, they also didn't do as professional a job as Perfectly Maid. Spring Cleaning time, and my home sure needed a deep cleaning but my painful back made it a no-go for me. I read a lot of reviews on Yelp before calling Perfectly Maid -- and I'm glad I did. I assumed, too, after reading those reviews, that I should provide paper towels and trash bags, which was certainly no problem. Rosa came out to give me an estimate the day after I called and we scheduled a cleaning, discussing what really needed attention beforehand. One thing I pointed out to her was my kitchen counter, where my old coffeemaker leaked and the grout was badly discolored -- and she told my not to worry, they could take care of that. She answered all of my questions and was very professional. Well, today was Great Cleaning Day. Her crew arrived on time and ready to go, and were very pleasant to deal with. They were very thorough and I can honestly say my house is probably the cleanest it's ever been. Bathrooms, interior windows, floors, counter tops.... spotless. They cleaned the baseboards, too and pretty much left no stone unturned. Not a speck of dust anywhere, and that includes the wood blinds in my living room. Light switch covers? Cleaned. The were very detailed in the job they did. My refrigerator is so clean inside it looks brand new. And those coffee stains in my kitchen counter grout? GONE. And believe me, I'd tried and tried and TRIED to get that grout clean. I've read some complaints about language issues. I'm grateful these ladies put up with my broken Spanish and helped me out when I wasn't sure what word I needed -- but we had zero difficulty understanding each other. This is my first time using Perfectly Maid, and I'm 100% satisfied with their professionalism. I first got an estimate from the owner, Rosa. She came to my house even after work hours, looked around, and asked me all the questions she needed. For my 1350 sq. ft. townhouse, she quoted me $150 for the first time, and a flat rate of $100 for monthly cleaning after that. I told her that I pretty much wanted the entire house cleaned, so I thought it was a pretty reasonable price. On the day of (first-time) cleaning, 2 workers showed up at 8am (30 minutes before appointment) and started cleaning. They finished at 11am (or maybe even before then), so it took a total of 3 hours to clean. When I came back, the house had a fresh scent. My roomies and I were very impressed because you could see that they thoroughly worked through each area. I paid by credit card online on their website and accidentally had a typo, so it was $10 more than the due payment. She came for an estimate the next day and we set everything up right away. We had two ladies come and clean for us every other week. The cleaning staff was very professional, on time and very friendly. I would recommend this company for one timers or a regular bases type cleaning. Just let Rosa know what you would like done if it isn't on the list of general cleaning that she gives to clients. I just wanted the two bathrooms and the kitchen cleaned. She told me they charged $25/hour and it would take 3-4 hours at most. I got a good vibe and decided to hire PM. She was able to instantly confirm an appointment for the next morning! The lady that cleaned was awesome! She was on time and ready to go. She got both bathrooms and the kitchen immaculately clean, not missing any detail whatsoever. It took her 4-hours to complete the job, without taking a break at that, but was well worth it! After close to 8 years of living with roommates in a 3 Bedroom/2.5 Bath, 1680 sq-ft house and having people probably about 10 different roommates over the years, I got married and now have only 1 roommate (my wife). I tried my best to keep the house clean, but having so many male roommates and over this amount of time, things unfortunately got dirty. As part of my wife's requirements before she moved in, she wanted the house clean. Being that I was getting married and start of my busy time for work, best solution was to find a maid service and thus Perfectly Maid came into the picture. The cost to do the house from top to bottom was about $400. I have to say that was the best $400 I spent in a long time. Those two ladies worked on cleaning the house for what must have been for 6 - 7 hours and the end result, the house look brand new. You would have never guessed that this was a house full of guys. If I was going to sell the house, the house looked awesome. Much better than some Open Houses they are on the market. I would probably use them for a once a year cleaning and would especially highly recommend having them come in and clean if you are looking to sell your home. I've used PM for almost 3 years and I love them! They came highly recommended by my realtor at Coldwell Banker, who always gave great recommendations and even uses PM for her own house. The owner Rosa is very responsive and easy to reach on her cell. She even came out to clean my house herself when she was short staffed! All the staff speak Spanish and some but not fluent English. I don't speak Spanish unfortunately but some pointing and simple explanations were sufficient to help the cleaning ladies understand what I needed. I've always been home while PM was cleaning, so next time if I had unusual requests from the cleaning staff while I'm not home, I'll probably call Rosa ahead of time and speak to her daughter who's fluent in English. I recommend that after a few cleanings, figure out which cleaning ladies you prefer because some will clean better than others, and request for them everytime. My house takes 4 hours to clean, so I request for 2 people to clean every time so that I can get on with my day. You used to have to book PM weeks in advance, but I've noticed that that since the economy tanked last year, their schedule is more open and I've been able to schedule cleanings with just 2 days notice! That's great for me, but I hope business picks up for PM's sake. I want their business to stay viable because I love their work! read more

Rosa the manager got back to my asap and was able to schedule me in within a few days. Elia is the person who came by to clean. I explained the situation to her and told her what areas I want her to focus most of her attention on. She was friendly, was and didn't require an direction (a big plus). I just moved into a rented house. The owner didn't do a good job of cleaning but gave us a free week to come in and clean. So I wanted to hire help to move into a sparkly clean house. I needed the kitchen and two small bathrooms cleaned. I need a DEEP clean and received a surface level job. I asked the cleaners to pull out the fridge and stove to clean behind the appliances. While pulling out the fridge, one of the cleaners bent a wire that connected the filtered water. Luckily, my brother was there and was able to patch the leak. The did not clean in the grooves of the stove. In the end, my kitchen and bathrooms were cleaned, but not as well as I had hoped for. Two ladies came and cleaned for 3 hours: $150 - $30 (bending the water pipe) = $120 for work I didn't want to do. Not too bad... Now I need to find a good tile and grout cleaner for the kitchen coutnertops. read more

Rosa seemed to have the most straightforward pricing and was quite responsive on my calls to get a quote and schedule an appointment. She suggested that for the first cleaning, it will be 4 hours (2 hrs for 2 people) at the rate of $25 an hour. This estimate was for a town home for the common areas only including the kitchen, 1.5 baths, living room, dining room and stairs. The next monthly cleaning will cost the same rate but for 3 hours only (1.5 hrs per person in a team of 2). This cost structure for regular cleaning was one of the reasonable quotes i got from the 4 cleaners that i contacted. This company got one star because I couldn't leave a zero. I am sooooo disappointed. I called last week and set up an appt with Rosa for 10AM today. No one showed up. When I called no one answered. I then got a text from a completely different number saying "I can't talk right now" I replied and questioned where they were and got a reply only to be told I must be confused with someone else. I spoke with Rosa when I made the appt. now I'm running out of time, as we have to return our key in four days and the carpet cleaners are scheduled for tomorrow. I actually feel bad that I have to give one star to Rosa and her ladies after using them for 7 years. But then I also must say the way they dealt with me after giving them business for 7 years was really barely worthy of that one star. I used them for monthly service for close to 7 years. thy were ok. Rosa herself was really nice to deal with on phone. The ladies that came to clean varied A LOT. I could see there was minimal quality control/guidance flto them.from Rosa- it often felt like she sourced independent workers because of how much the service varied. What did irritate me consistently is that they were all very "money conscious". For every little extra tjing I might ask like can you change the bedsheet, can you clean the crease neae the stove they would ask "how much do you pay"? It really irritated me (I mean just add the damn 10-20 bucks to your bill and stop asking me that question man!) but I never bothered enough to look out for another cleaner. Anyhow, what really got me in the end was when one of her workers insisted on wearing shoes in the house. Can you believe it? These are CLEANERS. Their job is to CLEAN the house and she wanted to get her dirty shoes into my kitchen and the same shoes in the bathroom. I asked her nicely a few times but every time I would get out of sight she would wear them again. When I saw her with shoes in the kitchen I told her she needed to take them off or not clean the kitchen I will do it myself. That wasnt the end of it - Rosa texts me later to say they cannot clean the house without shoes on. "No shoes No cleaning". I was appalled - 1) because Rosa should have atleast called and heard both sides of the story and not text me 2) her worker totally lied to her after doing a messy job and knowing she was in trouble. We never wear shoes in the house and we keep very clean floors because of our v young kids. None of the cleaners before or after that lady have had any trouble doing their work without shoes. The only mess on the kitchen floor that day was from that day's cooking coz I didn't mop knowing cleaners are coming. The worker totally lied to Rosa and unlike a savvy business person Rosa didn't even bother checking the facts. Well not surprised coz she never really managed the quality of her workers anyway. It seemed like her only concern was money. I am glad that it happened though coz I have found a much better cleaner that I would recommend to anyone - Teresa. No hassle - comes on time, gets done in time. No cribbing about money and Nickel and dimming me. We have set rate (ditto as Rosa by the way except they clean cobwebs, change bedsheets and all the little things without a beep). They come, they do an excellent job, pick up their check from the table and gone. Now that's what you call a good cleaning business. read more

I would advise some common sense to ask others around or least knock and ask don't just assume cleaning isn't required! We purchased a foreclosed home so it was filthy. We were looking for some deep cleaning so we got the move in cleaning service. We got a quote and they said they could clean the house in 3 hours. I was so excited because I wanted to move in ASAP and I'm a big on having things spic and span. Boy was I disappointed. Three people showed up. Cleaner #1 actually did a good job and paid special attention to detail. Cleaner #2 was cleaning pretty quickly but lacked attention to detail. Cleaner #3 was assigned to clean just the windows. Cleaner #3 was slow and did a terrible job. Our window sills and frames were still dirty. Our base boards and some of our door frames looked like they hadn't been touched. We actually spent more than the quoted price since we had to pay per person per hour. At least Cleaner #1 ended up cleaning our master bedroom and all the parts she did touch were clean, so the house is partially spic and span.
