After our contractor and plumber wrote documentation that her cleaner was at fault, Grace refuses to submit the claim with her insurance. To quote her, "you have enough money, you pay for it. I previously used them for a routine cleaning and a move out cleaning of my rental property, and they did great. I asked for a cleaning in the morning since I am home with a newborn and toddler and said I could be flexible if not. The owner communicated "done" and I assumed she would give me a morning cleaning time. Less than 24 hours before, she gave me a time in the afternoon, not the morning. I would have appreciated a note stating sorry that we weren't able to accommodate your request, does this time work? I realized that it would be too much to switch around schedules as I had already planned my day for a morning cleaning. The owner stated that morning cleanings were ONLY for reoccurring customers and that she couldn't get me in for another two weeks in the morning. I understand the reasoning, but it made me feel not important as a customer. She should have told me this information when I booked, not when I complained after getting the appointment time. No other time options were given and it forced me to cancel. It was a take it or leave it situation. It really is too bad that I had this experience because I think the ladies do great work! I spoke with Veronica, who came out to assess the job in person. This was a plus for me, as I didn't want a cookie-cutter quote based solely on square footage. On the appointed day, three ladies worked non-stop for five hours spotlessly cleaning two bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen, dining room & living room. They brought all their own equipment and cleaned everything; bathtub, oven/stove, refrigerator, windows, Venetian blinds, ceiling fans, etc. All done cheerfully and efficiently at a very fair price. Afterward, I imagine these hardworking ladies were exhausted, but they didn't show it, they never flagged. Very dedicated and admirable. I've never hired a maid service before so maybe I'm naïve, but the results are remarkable and a big boost to my spirits, as if being led out of a dim room. Two ladies came and were immediately ready to get started. Due to the language barriers I couldn't review my specifics with them but trusted whomever scheduled communicated what I requested. After they moved to the next floor I looked over the work and still saw soap scum on the ledge in the shower, dirt in the window, heavy dust on bathroom vent and several other issues. I called them back to show upstairs but only pointed out one of the items due to the time. When I checked on the next level I saw several area of concerns. At this point we are 4 1/2 hrs in and one more floor to go. I communicated my concerns with the person I scheduled with and informed I was going to have them stop rather than spend more money and I was unhappy with the quality of work. To clarify, I did not rush them at any time, I also waited to review their work after they fully completed the floor. After the 2nd completed floor I requested services to stop They offered to have them come back and provided a small discount due to the inconvenience.
