Then I got a quote via text for the size of my apartment and it was cheaper than other quotes I received, so I went for it. I haven't had a cleaner for a while so I even opted for a higher cost "deep clean". I left my door u locked and trusted them to clean without me present to watch (since it was recommended), but as soon as they arrived I was told via text that they need to upcharge me $50+ to do the services I ordered. They said they cannot finish the job in the 2 hours they had allocated for a "deep clean". So I asked how much time do they allocate for a regular clean? More than 1 hour I hope because I have never had a cleaner spend less than 2 hours on a regular clean. I assume for a deep clean they should allocate at least 3 hours, if not more. However, it was recommended and I truly needed a deep clean so I agreed to it. When I came back I will tell you that not only were deep clean items not done as promised (I asked for a list of things deep clean would include), such as the oven, the fridge, and basic kitchen countertop appliances, but the door frames, the floorboards, and the lamps were also not wiped. Furniture was not moved. I told them they didn't have to change sheets (part of their regular service), but somehow they still didn't have time. Why? They organized. A lot of organization from putting my kids' plushies in a row to putting my rugs in a different place etc. everything was moved and put in a new place--which I of course had to move back because I have my preferences. I'm not sure if there's some confusion on what the definition of a deep clean is between the scheduler and the actual team who came out to clean, but they did not deliver on what was promised and had the audacity to upcharge me for it. Then I find that they also ruined my kitchen countertop, which I will be paying for when I move out. I caution you not to try this company as I certainly will not make the mistake again

I recently hired the company to clean a house that is going to be on sale soon. The house is pretty much cleared out, newly painted, and staged with a few pieces of furniture with almost no decorations inside. The purpose of the cleaning was specifically addressed when the owner came for an estimate, which was a 'deep cleaning'. At least, I expected to see some shine and sparkle on sinks and faucets. I was told that two cleaning crew came late (it was scheduled at 8 am) and one person left at 1 pm. I found that one remaining lady was working alone (without much of proper materials) until 6 pm, and the house wasn't getting close to where it was supposed to be. I called the owner and explained what was going on. By that time, there was still dust on most of the furniture, ceiling fans were not touched, water marks weren't taken care of, windows weren't cleaned, and stains in the kitchen were not properly removed (and yes, there were more). I took some photos and sent to the owner, and she sent two ladies with cleaning matetials after an hour or so. Now the drama began. They were so loud talking to each other and talking to the owner (as if they were fighting) while they were in the house. They seemed quite incompetent on what they were supposed to be doing. Time passed. I finally had to point out some of the places that need attention so I could have the house back, as there were other things to take care of before the photo session happens in two days. More time passed, and it's 9 pm. The cleaning is not complete. They left after 10 pm with the payment. Next morning, I could see things that should have been done the day before. The morning light even highlighted the dusty spots and stains everywhere and I got the impression that they did not touch most of the furniture with attention. I took photos, sent to the owner, and said that the house does not seem to be cleaned by 'professionals'. The owner said that she does not believe if the photos were legit and made wrongful accusations against me. I told her that I have absolutely no reason to lie to her. When I told her that the work/business should be done with trust between company and client, she texted, "lady, I don't need your opinion." When I asked her about the incomplete job, her response was "what do you want?" Her voice and text messages were rude and there was no sign of apology. I told her that her sincere apology should come first after such a bad, unprofessional service, as I wasn't looking for a discount, refund, or having them over in the house again. If you are wondering about the size of the house, it is just over 2,000 sq ft with fully finished (empty, carpeted) basement with a half bath and small window. Once again, the house is staged for sale with minimum furniture. After dealing with such unprofessional and rude owner, paying $380.00, and being wrongfully accused of sending her "forged pictures", I still have not received any apology from her. At this point, I do not need it. This is the reason I wrote this review to warn people who are looking for home cleaning service in northern VA. Read less (Update) Laundry room was flooded after the cleaning crew left! The house cleaning was horrible enough and I found the basement flooded after my first use of washer since the ladies left. The lady who cleaned the washer did not put the hoses back after cleaning it. Why bother it in the first place? I had to vacuum at least 25 gallons of water!!!
