Would NOT recommend this place. My mom and I had appointments for pedicures at 4:30pm. We arrived at 4:25pm to check-in. The salon took 3 walk-ins before us, then directed us to pedicure chairs. The chairs are very old, worn out and uncomfortable. We sat until 5:00pm with no pedicure or sign of anyone freeing up to perform our pedicures. Why take appointments if they aren't honored? I left work early and am 8.5 months pregnant - my toes are not exactly easy to do myself right now! A huge inconvenience and will never return. read more

DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS FOR ANYTHING! My daughter and I had appointments at 10:30. Joy (a wonderful nail tech I've used for about 2 years), took care of my daughters pedi and started the "soak" for my feet. Then I wasn't taken care of or acknowledged at all! Joy apologized multiple times that somehow they booked us but shouldn't have...I guess they were over booked. But the owner, Julie, was taking care of a pedi two chairs down and knew what was going on but NEVER DID A THING! No apology, no acknowledgment, nothing at all! I had to ask my daughter for the towel they used on her to wipe my feet off so I could leave! That's when the owner said "you're leaving?" Duh!!! Of course I'm leaving I just sat there for 45 min and no ones acknowledged me at all! If I ran any of our businesses this way we'd be outta business! I guess that's why Maiden Nails doesn't have much in the way of clients there! Because they completely suck at customer service!! I have been to this place several times. They do a great job for little girls... they treat them like princesses and have a cute little chair that is like a giant over stuffed bear they sit in for pedicures. My kids love it. The price for the kids is very affordable.... FOR ME however I have always left dissatisfied. I got a gel manicure here last time and it didn't last more than 3 days. This is NOT how a gel namicure is supposed to go. I noticed it didn't look right when I left the but thought maybe I was being picky. Nope.. it was peeling off three days later. wow, large spacious salon. Brought my sister in also. Seated prompted. Nice plush pedicure chairs. Opted for a regular spa pedicure. My sister has younger woman, I had an older nail tech that did not speak to me at all. The service was rushed, leg massage was literally 1 min. Nail paint job was rushed and it shows. My sister said her girl rushed also. I dont see why every salon rushes, there were no other customers waiting. Probably give them another chance. Maiden nails was very friendly and helpful when my sister and I went there for a pedicure and gel manicure. We were weary about getting gel and they reassured us that it would not ruin our nails. They made sure that we were able to leave without ruining our nails (they even put my feet in plastic bags after they were dry so that my uggs wouldn't mess them up - just in case I suppose). The pricing is reasonable and the nail artists are friendly, but not overly chatty if you want your "me-time." Our gel polish stayed perfect for at least 2 weeks. read more

Had to leave half an hour after my scheduled appt. I asked them to fix one nail bc my tech was on vacation. They literally dragged me by the hand, speaking another language, and practically yelled at me because the design I needed to have fixed simply blew their minds. They were astonished and acted like I was asking for 14kt gold fills. I asked if they knew how to do acrylics, bc that's all I wanted. They made me sit down and for half an hour, I watched walk-ins get service in front of me and I watched the nail techs play with their iphone apps while I sat and waited. Went to Maiden Nails in to get a gel manicure. I talked to the owner who was very unfriendly. She noticed one of my nails was broken, which I thought was normal after 2 weeks of wear. She stated " You pay $5 dollar more"! I should have left then. I was seated with a very sweet young woman who was very nice and did a great job on my nails. When I went to pay the same grumpy lady was at the desk. She remembered me and charged me the $5 extra. I will not go back. read more

Came with out of town friends for a girls day, having set an appointment for six of us. We were very diapointed. I had a simple mani pedi and the polish was streaky and poorly done. They refused to do a pedicures on one of the girls and the acrylic nails were not done well on three of the girls. When asked for rounded tips they ignored one girl and did square. Three days later two of the girls said their acylics are coming undone. No one felt they got a good pedicure as they left everyone's heels still rough and cracked. It was pricey for what we had done and their attention to detail is very lacking. read more

I went to the salon twice, I would not have gone the second time but I had a gift card. Well, where shall I start. When you walk in the door you get greeted in a loud voice by someone doing a manicure and they talk to you with a mask on their face and with a very thick Asian accents. The first visit I had a young women that could spoke some english. But, on my second visit she could not speak any english or understand english. I was unable to ask her any questions and was dismissed by the other people working in the spa. My first manicure didn't last the 3 days that another reviewers lasted. On my second visit Because of a lack of communication I was very disappointed with even the color I tried to explain but gave up. This gel manicure looks see through and very unprofessional. I believe it was not done by a licensed manicurist. This is in the new Victor Spa. To sum up it is very unprofessional and not a very friendly atmosphere. Not to mention how they speak Asian to each other as if you are not even there. Why do we pay to go to a place like that? They are not cheap and the manicure is very unprofessional. I have been coming to Maiden Nails since they opened. The owners make you feel right at home and want their customers to be satisfied! I love that they are open on Sundays and that walk ins are welcomed.(in fact I never have appointments). When they are extremely busy, Tom, the owner will give a fairly accurate wait time. Hadn't been here for years and went about a month ago. My feet were still rough and callused after getting a pedi and they offered to fix it but I had to leave so instead they compensated me by $5 off and a $5 gift card. I went back today for another pedi since I had the gift card. I made an appointment and was promptly seated but I saw multiple employees sitting in the other pedi chairs on their phones just lounging around. It seemed quite unprofessional. Once the pedi started I specifically told the girl that I had some calluses and wanted them removed and she shook her head yes. After she was done, before painting my nails, I asked if they had the metal callus remover because I still clearly had calluses, and she said no. When I was all done and my feet were dry I told her I was unhappy with my heels and she said that there was nothing she could do that multiple pedicures were the only solution. Um hello, I'd just been there a few weeks ago! What a line of bull! The scrubby thing they use to remove calluses is not very good and they don't even use a pumice stone or anything else. The woman next to me sat down about 10 minutes after me and her foot/leg massage was way longer than mine I felt like my girl rushed through. Half way through there was a terrible smell from whatever the other employees were eating in the back. I won't ever go here again, waste of money. read more

Will never recommend. In fact, will discourage visiting this salon. Had my nails (French gel) done 2 days before trip and within 3 days, 3 nails were peeling. Glops of the white were on 4 tips. Within another 2 days, 2 more nails were peeling. Very unprofessional behavior during my visit, sloppy appearance of a few, computer games, testing, eating at individual stations. After returning from our trip, I returned to salon and was made into a spectacle, with all the foreign language going on during my explanation of problems, no one greeted me at desk, all just kept on with other people's nails, some w/out customers were texting, on laptops, chatting in back pedi area. I had to stand there like an idiot and explain to everyone in there, customers included, about the problems I'd had. Their only solution was to do just those 5 nails over again, no charge. The girl who'd done them originally never even acknowledged me or the problems, but certainly had plenty to say in her native tongue. They said there was a "no refund policy" and no where did I see this posted. NEVER have I been treated with such disrespect and NEVER had such poor quality work. Per BBB complaint, same refund policy was repeated. Do I really want any of them working on my nails after the original quality and the treatment and "gossiping" upon my return ?? 2 other women waiting for their turn walked out talking about the attitude I was being given and outside the store, met me and said they'd never return and I should go to BBB over this and they never saw any policy posted about "no refunds". Have been elsewhere since, of course, and was met at desk, made welcome, treated with respect, saw emp and customers smiling, received great service and quality. read more

I went to Maiden Nails this afternoon for the first and LAST time. It was a terrible experience that very sadly ruined the day for my niece. As a treat for her senior ball which is tomorrow, I took her to get a manicure. This being our first time there, I had called ahead and made an appointment a few days before. We arrived several minutes before our scheduled time and waited until 20 minutes past our appointment time for someone to take care of us. My niece has cerebral palsy and has tremors in her arms making her "shaky" and "unsteady" at times. The woman who began my niece's manicure began to chastise her for "moving" and insisted that I hold her arm down and hold the bowl of water so that it wouldn't spill all over. I explained that my niece had CP and that she was not in control of her body and that we would do our best to keep her as steady as possible. The woman kept insisting that she stay still and not move and kept glaring at my niece while she very hastily and roughly filed her nails. I asked my niece if she would like to leave as she was trying very hard to not cry in front of this awful woman. That reassurance from me was all it took and she pulled her hand away from the woman and said that we had decided to leave. The woman got very upset and tried to coax my niece into staying while she spoke in her native language to another nail tech. I was utterly appalled and shocked by her lack of empathy and understanding. I most definitely let her, as well as the other customers waiting, know how poorly my niece had been treated and suggested that the woman may want to consider attending sensitivity training classes. She was obviously ignorant and completely self absorbed to not be able to show one ounce of compassion towards my niece. How she was able to sit there and look into my niece's eyes and see the pain that she caused her is beyond comprehension. My niece is one of the strongest people I know and for her to be treated as a nothing because she has a disorder beyond her control is disgusting. Please reconsider patronizing a business that shames others. They are the ones who should be shamed. read more
