I'm not going to lie, I was a little skeptical when I saw that all the store associates were in the teens (I know it's ageist, but I've had a terrible time shopping in trendy teen stores where no one cares about the customer), but was seriously impressed when they went above and beyond my expectations (and my expectations are high -- I work retail too). Katie was the sales associate helping me out. She gave me a fitting and took me back to the dressing room where she gave me a drawer filled with samples of each bra style in my size so I could see which one I liked the best. The bras are super cute, super soft and come in all different colors with different details and finishes. I was just so happy to find something that fit! Be warned, aerie definitely caters to young women (teens) so the bras all look teeny. Katie measured me a size larger than what I usually go for, but no matter, the fit was perfect! I took advantage of the sale and walked out with 3 bras and a drawer's worth of new underwear. As I was checking out, one of the other sales associates who was helping me (and for the life of me, I can't remember her name) heard me talk about what a long drive I made to check out the store, and she told me that because I lived so far away and probably wouldn't be able to take advantage of their promotion that began the next day, she let me go ahead and take a free pair of panties with me. Talk about AWESOME customer service. If you are looking for some cute new underthings and are looking for helpful, friendly and excellent service, please do yourself a favor and check out aerie at Clackamas Town Center. They have a great selection of different kinds of plus sized bras and great customer service. I called Torrid. They answered the phone right away and said they had what I needed. I got there, told them what I was looking for. The sales associate I worked with found the product herself and even went to the back to make sure I had multiple size items to try. She also found me a fitting room. I didn't have to wait long at all. Eventually I found the right bra. The whole process was very quick. Normally, I get bras at department stores or online but this experience will probably make Torrid my go-to for bra shopping from now on.

I've been working out and losing weight, so I have since gone into the shop on several occasions to get help updating my body measurements and selecting new bras / panties. Laura is always warm and welcoming to both my husband and I. In addition to both beautiful underwear, sexy lingerie, the shop also has a variety of products to stimulate your play time. Usually when there is a price difference and you find others with the same price, they honor the marked price. It was an unpleasant experience and probably need to revamp their policies to honor prices that are marked, especially if there are others with the same markdown price!

Daya recognizes me when I come in, whether with my kid or not and is a friendly face that makes me feel genuinely happy to come back and shop. Daya is always dressed to impress! And that why when I'm trying clothes on and I'm unsure, I always come out to ask about fit and style and if I should purchase what I'm trying on or not. They are always honest (which I really appreciate) and I legit can't wait to come back to shop. In store shopping is way more fun for me than online. I've purchased pieces that will definitely be in my closet for the long haul without breaking the bank! Because either I've sold things that's no longer fit me or because it's much cheaper (or both!) When I entered the store, I wondered if they were still in business as there were hardly any people shopping. In an hour of wandering various departments in search of deals, I saw maybe 10 other shoppers. And only 2 fitting rooms open on the far ends of the store. But what I did find were a few really nice sweaters and several pairs of wide and straight leg jeans at really reasonable prices. I opted for a gorgeous teal, blue and plaid long, duster style cardigan with pockets. It's a Liz Claiborne, which I haven't purchased in years, but the colors, style and pattern was exceptional. On sale for $38 from $60, and a coupon for another 20% off bringing it to under $32.00, I couldn't pass on it. I'm so glad I didn't because it's absolutely stunning! Wish the cool weather would arrive so I can wear it! At the customer pick up counter, I went to retrieve the jeans I ordered online. It had been 4 hours since I placed the order, but I never received a message saying my order was ready. I was ready to leave, so went and inquired at the counter. Sure enough they had the jeans, but they are dealing with a transition to a new system so text messages weren't sent. Well, if the jeans had been there when I arrived, I never would have browsed the store to kill time, and wouldn't have found my new cardigan, so it all worked out.
