I've had MaidPro for about seven years. I've never had them do the back of my house. They won't come out to your house for a quote. I have told them they are overcharging. They only do my living room, kitchen one bathroom and want $177.00 for their hour long cleaning. I was told if I wanted to keep the maids longer, I should. Because I'm paying for it. But I don't want them cleaning the back of the house. They won't reduce the cost, I just need to keep the maids longer. This company was bought out about a year ago. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Horrible experience and still on-going. I know it's tough to find a decent housekeeper wen you are new to an area and I thought this service would be okay since I spoke with the owner, Doug, on my first phone call to check them out. He assured me that they were an honest company and insured, etc. Well, I came home and the next day noticed my wood dining table was terribly scratched. I called and left a message and days later got a call back. The owner came over and took pictures and promised to email me back and told me he had a repair company that he'd talk to. He never emailed me. I called repeatedly and never got a call back. I finally got the guy Doug on the phone today and he promised to call me by 5pm today. That was also a lie. I had MaidPro come and clean for a move out/move in. I asked about all the things I needed cleaned (ie, stove, behind washer/dryer, fridge, side of fridge, baseboards, etc). Assured me all my concerns would be taken care of. Needless to say I ended up working until the minute my tenant arrived to take over the keys. Would not use them again. MaidPro in Roseville cleaned our house before we moved in. We visited the house the day before the cleaners came and it was already pretty clean, but we were excited to have it done professionally. I talked to Doug about how we would not be able to see the cleaning until the night before the movers would bring our things and asked if I could have them redo an area if I am not happy with the service and he agreed. The cleaning was just OK. Several areas were missed and I was a little dissappointed since we paid a fairly steep price for cleaning (more than for our move-out cleaning in the Bay Area). We also had them do our carpets and the carpets looked very nice, but there were muddy footprints on our tile. When I called to give feedback, I talked to a woman named Anna. I told her that I was not very satisfied with the cleaning and she just kept saying that I should have told them sooner so that they could have come back to redo it. I told her that I did not feel right about having them come back after the movers came through because it was now much dirtier and we didn't have time to call her before the movers came. The only thing she or doug would offer me were discounts on future services. As we continued to discuss the parts of the job that were missed, she tried to sell me more services like window-cleaning. Why would I want to pay them more money when they did a below adequate job for a premium price the first time? There is a lot of competiiton out there. We lead a busy life with a small child and are thinking about having a cleaning service biweekly, but after my experience with this MaidPro, it will not be with them. read more

Of all things the neglected the guest bathroom. Then while cleaning the kitchen one of the maids broke our crown molding off of the cabinets. I called multiple times then finally a guy said he would come out to fix it and never showed up. It's still broke (I am waiting for my father in-law, who does kitchens, to come and fix it.) I was being treated for breast cancer & and was going through chemotherapy. My sister convinced me to have professional cleaners come out & give me an estimate to do a good deep cleaning. Due to an injury several years ago many areas of the house were completely ignored as my physical ability was quite limited. I contacted the local MaidPro office & the owner came out later that day. I explained that I had been unable to do much cleaning, especially dusting, since an injury in 2008 & that I was currently going through chemo for breast cancer. We went room by room & I explained which window coverings needed to be brought down so they could be washed & which needed to be vacuumed. All blinds were to be cleaned, all interior windows were to be washed, the bathrooms were to be completely cleaned, the kitchen was to be cleaned & the entire house was to be vacuumed. There were 3 rooms that only required the blinds, windows & vacuuming. There are also pot shelves above the cabinets in our kitchen that I asked for a price to include them in the cleaning. There are several windows/blinds/window treatments that are high due to the tall ceilings in several of the rooms. I was quoted a price of $252 without the pot shelves or $280 to dust the pot shelves. I explained that I have never had cleaners come in before so it was all new to me. When I contacted Doug to schedule the cleaning I asked how long it might take so I could plan my day accordingly. He indicated that it would likely be 4-5 hours. I also asked if they would supply all their own equipment, including a ladder to reach the upper windows. I was told they would have everything they need. The job was scheduled for Thursday October 18th at 8:30am. I explained I had family coming in from out of town to support me at a 5K for Breast Cancer Awareness that weekend & then get my next chemo infusion the next week. When the girls arrived it was 9:00 (they left at 2:00). When I showed them the curtains to be brought down and/or vacuumed they said they didn't have a stepstool that would reach. I brought in my ladder so they would be able to reach them. I explained that those high blinds & windows were part of what were to be cleaned. This is when the owner showed up & removed a few of the window treatments. However, the 2 valances over the master bath tub were beaten with a Webster & never removed. I washed & dried what had been taken down but they were never put back up. I also realized that only one side of the blinds had been beaten clean, not both sides. To be fair, they did an excellent job with the shower in the master bath. Two smaller bedrooms were to have only the blinds & windows cleaned & the floors vacuumed, and 1 valance removed to be washed. Again, after I washed it nothing was done with it. I have since had to put it backup myself. The blinds in my office were poorly cleaned. A chain to a stained glass item made for me by my son has been broken & the item was just laid on the cabinet area. I was not notified that it had been damaged. In the front room area/my work area, I found that the wooden valances for the blinds were taken down or knocked off but never put back up & I wasn't told about it. The window treatments in this room need to be cleaned professionally, so I requested they be vacuumed. I do not believe this was done. I also doubt that the upper windows & blinds in this room had been cleaned as was part of the original agreement. There is also damage to the inside of the front window sill from the wooden blinds being beaten instead of vacuumed or wiped down. Again, the kitchen blinds were only beaten clean on 1 side, and the window treatment over the sink was not taken down so it could be washed. Without it taken down there is no way the window could have been cleaned. The pot shelves were dusted & the trophies were taken down as I requested but I have not been able to get up there to see exactly how well it had been done. There is a spot where a bird got into the house & that mark is still on the edge of the shelve. This should have at least been wiped away. The living area has window treatments that should have been vacuumed, and the upper blinds & windows were supposed to be clean. It does not appear that either of these took place. The blind on the lower window was cleaned on one side. The mantel above the TV/fireplace area was dusted but there were several spots that were missed. The vacuum used to vacuum the house did not seem to pick up very well. Some areas didn't look to be vacuumed at all. I understand that there was a lot of dust in my house as it had been several years since everything had been given a good deep cleaning. This is why I wanted someone to come out & see everything we wanted done & price it accordingly. I also wish I had read the reviews before hiring this service. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere. The owner of this company is not truthful. When I called MaidPro, I spoke with Elizabeth. We agreed on what needed to be cleaned and she came out after the first cleaning to make sure the house cleaning was to my satisfaction. We agreed that MaidPro would clean the four bedrooms and three bathrooms of my home. They were to vacuum the upstairs, wash the hardwood floors downstairs, they would dust all rooms and clean the three bathrooms. We even discussed the fact the baseboards should be vacuumed. Elizabeth went on to explain to me about how powerful the MaidPro vacuums were. I told Elizabeth that I took care of the kitchen. One of the rooms upstairs was not cleaned at the first visit because my husband and I occupied it while the cleaning was going on in the house. They arrived at 1:00 and left at 3:00. One girl worked downstairs and one upstairs. Elizabeth told me it would cost me four hours, two hours per girl at each cleaning. We agreed on the price. I tipped the cleaners well, after each cleaning. The next three cleanings I was not home. After the second cleaning we had guests coming to our house so I went to the guest room to change sheets. I noticed a significant amount of dust in the room. The windowsills were thick with dust and the furniture had at least two weeks of dust on them. I dusted, changed the sheets and decided to check the cleaning job after the next cleaning. After the third cleaning I came home and decided to check the job. There was dust on most of the furniture in all of the rooms in the house. I was really upset to see that only a cursory dusting was done. The bathrooms were very clean. I contacted MaidPro by email and sent along pictures of the dust I had found on the furniture and window sills. This is where it all went bad. Doug informed me that the girls worked very hard on my house. In a future voice mail he informed me that the girls did what they could in the hour and a half they were there. What? We agreed on two hours per girl. He said the bedrooms were never included in the estimate. He said they vacuumed as an extra for me trying to do the best job they could. Dusting was never included in the estimate. So basically, they didn't clean the bedrooms, kitchen nor dusted the bedrooms. They cleaned the bathrooms and washed the floors in three hours???? I sent Doug a copy of the checklist on what was cleaned in my home. They leave this checklist after each cleaning. It included dusting furniture in the bedrooms "top, front and bottom", vacuuming bedrooms, dusting windowsills (blinds extra) bathrooms cleaned, trash emptied, washing floors downstairs, dusting furniture. They had checked off ALL of the items Elizabeth and I agreed on. Why I was talking to Doug about the agreement Elizabeth and I had come to was ridiculous. All he had to do was talk to his employee who did the estimate and he would know what we had agreed on. This could have been an easy fix. All Doug had to do was ask the girls to do a better job dusting. Instead, he chose to tell me I was expecting to much for a four hour job and I needed to pay more for dusting and vacuuming. I keep a very clean home. The girls never had to move anything to clean. The beds are made, dishes done and everything is off the counters, tables and floors so they can do their job easily. It is only my husband and I in our very uncluttered home. This should have been a cake walk for MaidPro. Instead I was told I needed to pay more if I wanted dusting and vacuuming done. What the heck did I hire them for then? Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for housecleaning. You can't expect anything more than clean bathrooms from MaidPro. read more

There are so many to choose and I actually did have a few groups come out to the house....but I wasn't happy with anything I heard or saw. Our property management company had them come out to clean a empty house prior to us moving in. I was the one that let them in and I asked them to wipe all the drawers/cabinets and vacuum, etc. I went in after them and found that they didn't wipe ANYTHING! I spent about 3 hours with my sister cleaning after them. I would not trust them at all. With an empty house and a specific request, they could have fulfilled their responsibility but didn't do anything.
