Imagine my delight when Star not only answered my call after hours but said she could help me. We had just closed escrow and the house was empty but not particularly clean. This was my first time hiring a service such as Maids 2000. I decided to utilize the company for many reasons but some include their insurance coverages, spectacular reviews, and services offered. Notably they have Covid Tested screened their employees and adhere to wearing proper mask and social distancing. With that being said the previous week I contacted Starr, one of the managers and interviewed her for their service over the phone. She was very polite and came out the very next morning for an interview. She explained all services thoroughly and gave me the best options for cost and time. The following week Starr and another manager accompanied a team of 3 very respectful and professional ladies to our home. There was a brief overview of what we had previously discussed. Starr and the other manager left and the team went to work. They were very fast efficient and meticulous. Our home is on the larger side so they were her for a while, however I noticed that they kept the same pace up the whole time until they finished. I started using Maids 2000 over two years ago. Over the years I have employed many housekeepers, individuals and small businesses. This is the only larger cleaning service I have hired, and I've been very impressed overall with the quality of their work. Admittedly, at first I thought their rates were on the high side, and they are certainly higher than the mother-daughter teams I've had in the past. However, they run a professional business with very well-trained technicians, competitive salary and (I'm pretty sure) a benefit package, along with safe and environmentally-friendly cleaning products. I am not inclined to do my own heavy cleaning (health issues) but I am a discerning consumer of same. To be sure there have been a few times that I had a new team that rushed through; a call to Chanel or Star in the office resolved my issues right away! They do have up-charges for a very few things, but on the whole, the techs have always been very happy to do the few little extra things I've asked for. The staff is professional as for a lockbox maid would have her key in their pocket. I've had them for a few years and then experience problems constantly and just overlooked them. When they first started out they did a good job as the years went on it was like they just came warped the flaws and would leave. I had some incidents with them that the company would not cover with their insurance. I don't know what's wrong with the company has this service going down over the years is it their employees?, Was like there maid just didn't care anymore. They would take everything of the counters and leave all my items in the sink. The next week they word forget to put new bags in the basket or leave there cleaning sprays and go. The last two years every time they came I would have to clean up after them. I even tried speaking with management but that didn't help at all. I come home and the floor looked clean but if I took a clean towel to the floor it be black. After one of the maids put a small dent in my new fridge I call and was told it was not them. I told them I live along and at work the only person in the house was the maid. I was so trained by them every week I would just clean up there mess. We needed everything done, for a deep clean, including carpets, windows, upholstery, the works--the house hadn't been deep cleaned for 2 years so it was in bad shape.
