This mail depot offers a lot of amenities. You can pay your utilities, send off your packages, buy really unique and fun gifts. They offer PO Boxes, and they also do notary. Every time I've gone into the shop they work quickly and efficiently. They are polite and professional. read more

I must go there 2x a week. I only shop online so I have returns for the most part. Over years, 10 or more I'm guessing, they have NEVER lost a package. I don't ask names but the older tall thin man apx 60, if that is Ron, is always courteous. The girl with the gorgeous green eyes is no longer there but she was so friendly and nice I wanted to adopt her. In the mans defense, I have seen several unreasonable and rude people he has had to handle. I work with people also and at some point when their expectations or attitude are beyond reasonable you have to put your foot down. Now as for people that don't quite understand the digital world, you would save yourself alot of time and grief if you would carefully read the purveyors instructions. But if you do need help that takes time, be sure you are able to wait until you can be helped particularly if it is busy. read more

This place should have been put out of business a long time ago! The ONLY reason it's survived is because people need somewhere to pay their utility bills or get passport applications processed. Customer SERVICE is non-existent. The miserable woman that used to run the place is thankfully gone (I think) and now some jack-ass named Ron is (attempting) to make a go of it, and failing miserably. Rudeness aplenty from management. Employee turnover is extremely high, and it's easy to see why. Nobody can take working in such a pathetic place for very long. They have "lost" more than one of the packages I've dropped off and there is never anything close to a "sorry," much less an attempt to locate what THEY were responsible for the minute it was accepted by them. I had an online shop on Etsy for eight years so I've done a lot of shipping worldwide. I'm fairly new to Hemet so went to Mail Depot Plus a while back and was a little shocked at the cost to ship two packages relatively small packages, one to Duarte. Yesterday I had a package going to Orange County that I had sold on Marketplace and this time I measured, weighed and looked cost up on USPS for priority since buyer was paying postage and it was $9.20. Mail Depot Plus wanted $18.40 (double). I was told they weren't the Post Office and the extra was for convenience for me. I asked what the markup was so I could calculate it in future (just to see what was said) and said they didn't know it was in the machine - well, the markup is double obviously. With all my shipping when living in Palmdale, there were two places I used and NONE marked up the price over what FedEx and USPS were charging (how else would I know what to charge customers?). They have contracts and get an amount back to them, not from us. I strongly recommend driving a few more blocks and going to Post Office as they won't rip you off. I like this place bc, for example, I stopped at the Homeland USPS first and it was closed. I then came here and they provide the same service and they're open. This place gets busy, though. Either I am in the back of the 10-deep line or I'm the first in front of a 10-deep line when I look back. Three separate lines; one for postal needs, bill paying needs, and one for the notary. I've encountered 2 different employees and both have been pleasant. The only thing is that the parking lot can get inconvenient. It's somewhat of a cluterfu*k getting out bc of the entrance into the shopping center from Sanderson is adjacent to the business' parking lot. Just be careful and look all ways many times while coming and going. The place isn't as ghetto as other postal service/bill paying stores I've been to. read more

This place is busy during the middle of the day but I've been to Postal Anex where there was no one but they cost me an internship because they messed up my livescan. That being said, I work with children so everytime I apply for a new job I have to be fingerprinted. I also have very sweaty hands and have problems being fingerprinted (livescaned) the owner took her time with me and didn't comment on how horrible it is to do it. Not only is this my least favorite shipping place in the San Jacinto Valley, they also charge $0.75 for things that the other stores absolutely give for free every single time! Here's what the post office says "This packaging is the property of the united states postal service and is provided solely for use in sending priority Mail shipments. Misuse may be a violation of federal law. This packaging is not for resale."..... one employee of this store not the manager charged me $0.10 a piece for the same item last time I was there. This time I was solicited for a Yelp review and in turn I was told that I would be giving these free pieces plastic for no charge. little did i know, the price changed to .75 and I ended up paying the $3 for the 4 pieces of plastic and was told that the shipping had already left for the day. So here is your free Yelp review!!!! Also if you'd like to print your shipping labels for under $0.10 the Staples 500 ft from the mailing Depot has you covered. also ups is inside staples. The charge for printing a shipping label at mail depot is probably what Staples charges multiplied by an exponential value!!! Exponential! Also FedEx and UPS are conveniently located within less than .2 miles of this mailing facility which has less pick up times then both of the other locations divided by two for under half the cost. Also after using the labels and getting the packages ready the manager sent away the employee then the manager just sat on her phone while I stood there with four packages in my hand. talking to one of my landscaping customers who also was doing something there for a few minutes waiting for her to look up from a perplexed daze with the reflection of a subtle blue light.
