This is located in Social on Main which is another review entirely!! Very cool concept. This is a wood fired oven pizza joint with many many different choices in pizzas, it can be hard to decide!! They've also got some really cool varieties of crushed red pepper flakes. Everything is made fresh so obviously you have a bit of a wait as they assemble your pizza and then cook it. The lady taking orders was knowledgeable and happily answered all of our questions. Sweet heat pizza has an excellent combo of, well, sweet and heat. The jalapeños aren't overpoweringly hot as is often the case on these pepperoni/jalapeño/honey pizzas that are all the rage with the hipster kiddos. read more

A solid 5 star meal. I got the Greek Freak pizza. It was flavorful and delicious. The crust was a touch overdone. But that can happen with woodfired pizza. And I watched the dude doing the cooking actively working to cook the pizza as evenly as possible so that the top is melty and hot without overcooking the bottom. Not only was the pizza delicious but they had a lot of different pepper combinations. I love pepper and this intrigued me. I tried a couple different ones. They were fabulous. Service was friendly and knowledgeable. This is inside the Social on Main establishment - which is like an upscale food court. That description doesn't do it justice. It was pretty cool!! read more

The pizza place inside Social on Main. The food is a little pricey but made fresh and pretty tasty so be prepared to wait especially when it is busy. There is shared space for tables to sit as you wait then dine. They sell some non-alcoholic drinks and you can get your alcohol drinks at the bar. Definitely worth a taste. read more

Head over heels in love with this place. I am always crying about how Etown doesn't have any places that really knock your socks off. This one is it, and I will be coming here loyally for any and all pizza needs. So many great things to say. I love the variety of their menu! There's definitely something for everyone, including snobby me. You can get a simple pizza (nothing wrong with that, especially ones of this quality), or something a little more adventurous and thoughtful. I've never had a bad pie here. I've been loving working through their menu. The Italian meats one has my heart at the moment, but I have a big heart and there is room for many favorites. I also need to venture out of pizza and try their other offerings. Everything looks so good! The staff is awesome, and the locale being inside the new Social on Main building isn't half bad either. I am always feeling like I'm having to drive up to Louisville when I want something nicer, more elevated. If you are a fan of Wood fired pizza, this place has some of the best crust in town. We had the Italian sausage pizza, which was 12" - and 6 piece wings (Memphis bbq style.) This was the perfect amount of food for two people to split. The staff were friendly, and the food came up quick! They have plenty of spices, seasonings, and sauces for to go. We were in the mood for some really good pizza. We live in Nelson county and had planned on going into Louisville to Parlour, but I happened to see the rating and reviews here, and some pictures that looked very appetizing. This was closer so we decided to give it a try. We had no idea it was in Social On Main, which is sort of a food court with a few restaurants and live music. (I didn't look close enough at the pictures here on Yelp. When we got there the whole place was very busy. This, to me, was a good sign. The line was backed up a bit and with the crowd, my wife grabbed a table that freed up while I waiting in line. During that time I noticed the kitchen seemed a bit "discombobulated" with people bouncing around between doing different things and getting in each other's way. It is very confining back there. The lady taking the orders had to walk away from the counter after each order she took to take care of something else. This was slowing down the ordering process. I think this could possibly be improved. While the ordering was a bit slow, the food did not disappoint. The concept is a bit like Blaze Pizza without the assembly line but with MUCH better pizza. It is more expensive that Blaze but it is worth it. This was exactly the kind of pizza we were craving. There's a lot of interesting pizzas on the menu but I went with a classic pepperoni, sausage and mushroom while my wife got the Margherita. They were both so good. The wood-fired crust is great. The toppings were pretty generous as well. They only serve canned drinks but there is a bar there in the food court where you can order whatever you want and it is self serve. But its another line to wait through, so we just went with the canned drinks. I'd love to go back with our adult kids, but unfortunately they don't offer a gluten-free crust or a vegan cheese, both of which my daughter requires. But we do plan on going back, as the other food stations there offer things my daughter can have. I'll still be getting the pizza! read more

The chicken pesto pizza had the right balance of chicken, thinly sliced red onions and sun-dried tomatoes. The Ube cheesecake was a tasty surprise. Who knew vegetables could taste so fabulous! Ambiance is okay for middle of the day/eat & go. Pizza size is what would be considered a medium in most pizza places. My mother and I enjoy a good lunch lately on our Saturday outings. My mother, who has a wood-burning pizza oven, was ready willing and hungry to try some professional wood fired pizza! The staff were very kind and helpful. She shared with us the best sellers and her favorites. She explained their twist on some of the pairings. Hubby had a pizza, which he liked, and I had the lemon pepper wings and a side salad. Felt we ate well for the price. They had "good" ranch, which - if you know, you know! I've only eaten here once at the new assembly location in Elizabethtown. The pizza was amazing. No matter what a wood fired pizza beats everyone in my opinion and Maillard is no disappointment to that tradition. The cup pepperoni adds a great touch. The pizza sauce is great not too salty not too sweet a fine balance. The value for the pizza is excellent just enough at a reasonable price. I look forward to trying some of their other items on the menu but always start with pepperoni I will definitely be going back to this restaurant! The service was fantastic! We ordered a pepperoni pizza and a couple of soft drinks. The pizza was done in minutes, with a nice Smokey taste and a light char on the bottom, Perfect!
