Brie plate with pears

I wanted to take my husband out to breakfast this morning to somewhere we had not been together. So we went to Main & Market. It's close to home and all of the food I have had there at other times of day has been great. We chose a cozy booth by the window and enjoyed our coffee (their coffee is excellent). Our server was Erin, who is very peppy & pleasant. I ordered the corned beef hash, with two eggs over easy. It was a huge portion with big chunks of corned beef, potatoes & onions. It was not really what I think of as hash, but it was tasty. But I probably would not order it again. My husband ordered the breakfast sandwich on a croissant with turkey sausage. He loved their breakfast potatoes. They have lots of options, including benedicts and make your own omelet. So we will be back. Lots of the local breakfast places are a frenetic experience, but this was very relaxing.

Chicken pot pie

Don't drive too fast or you will miss this place. Tucked away in a strip mall, the modest exterior appearance is misleading. The inside opens up to an expansive space with more food choices than you can imagine. Too many options and they all look good. Main and Market has a full bar but no draft beer. Several staff on site, and we were seated right away. Service was good and server was helpful with suggestions. They also have staff clearing empty plates so your table doesn't get cluttered. I'm only going to rate the apps and my dish: Buffalo fried green tomatoes were tasty, the spinach and artichoke dip was really good and served with little naan pieces. The waitress brought us warm bread with honey butter, which I highly recommend. I ordered the pot pie, which comes with a large pastry puff on top instead of a crust. It also had large pieces of chicken. My preference is a pot pie with shredded chicken and a crust, but this was a nice twist. We didn't have room for dessert, but if you are into monstrous layer cakes, I suggest you leave some space. They have a sign that says, "Start with dessert" or something like that and that might be my approach next time...and there will be a next time.

Catering service presentation

I recommend Main & Market for all catering needs. I love the food, service and the presentation. Nannette and team completely upgraded our event with their professional, personal and prompt service. We ordered our Thanksgiving Dinner this year through Main & Market and also utilized the catering for an event. All our guests were in awe of the food, the quality, the taste, the presentation of the whole night was spectacular. I love the energy of the catering team, they work as a team, are friendly and kind to one another as well as to us and our guests. Whether you dine in, carryout or cater, don't miss out on a great meal. Nannette Williams how to add the extra flare to any presentation regardless of budget. Keep up the great work!

My first time here. I had breakfast with a friend. It's a cute bakery style restaurant with an intimate feel. We we seated at a nice, cozy window side booth. The food was categorically fresh and high quality. The cake slices Humongous! I would definitely dine here again.

Ask the Community - Main & Market

I saw fries in the picture and got potato.chips. What's the deal? I feel like they ripped me off.

When I was there earlier this month, my friend requested fries rather than chips. I think they cost a little extra than chips.

Any plans to add more vegan items (esp breakfast options)? Is nondairy milk available?

non dairy milk is available

Girls' day turned girl evening and rightfully so. Netflix and chill with a house full of ladies…read more When the stomach started to growl it was easy for the token private chef friend to make the easiest and best recommendation. Full On Craft Eats. The Toast online ordering system was easy to navigate and adorned with pictures of every menu item. I could not get past the onion rings on the starter menu hoping they would taste as good as they looked. My friend offered to split the Slammin Salmon sandwich and onion rings since she has had it before and never finished the entire thing. I took her up on it and the order was placed. A quick ask for mom to grab it on the way home and the food made its way back quickly. WOW is all I can say. When you order food to go there is a level of expectation that it will not be as good as it is at the restaurant, especially fries and onion rings. But in this instance WOW. Talk about food that travels well. Fourteen minutes away and the food was still warm, the onion rings were so crisp, and the garlic and dill aioli and onion ring sauce were just right. The Slammin Salmon was served on ciabatta bread that was not too soft not too hard, with salmon cooked perfectly. The lemon dill aioli was a game changer so much that my friend's advice to order extra was well received and committed to memory. The onion rings lived up to the hype, cooked perfectly with a crust I cannot even explain. The kind you bite into without losing the entire onion from the breading. Dip it into the sauce and you have a match made in heaven. Half the sandwich was more than enough but the next day I would have loved some leftovers. Now for the extra razzle dazzle. I left to visit a friend in DC and sent him the menu, shared my experience and he was locked in to try. Online ordering was closed since they were closing at 10pm so I called as a last-ditch effort since the anticipation was already there. The nicest most warm individual answered ten minutes before closing and was more than happy to take my order. She even made sandwich recommendations. I quickly arrived at a shopping center that was easy to get in and out of. Walking in you immediately arrive at the counter and takeout area to your left with a nice bar area a short walk past on the right. The cooks and wait staff were having the best time using the 6/7 saying that was all over social media late last year. They were considerate when they noticed I was in the restaurant, but I assured them I loved their energy. I see why the food is so good because the energy shows it was made with great vibes and laughter all around. As I grabbed the bag to leave the hostess stopped me to add another fork and extra napkins since I would need them to add the pickled veggies on my sandwich. Such a nice touch. Thirty plus minutes to DC and the food still did not need to be reheated. The Mai Thai sandwich was a hit with flavors that married well and the onion rings delivered again. The Spicy Thai wings were good for wings but typical. They had a lot to compete with. Full On Craft Eats Annapolis, not to be confused with Rockville, is an experience you will want to repeat again and again. Good food fast that travels well (yes that is a thing). A great Father's Day spot for brunch!…read more Ordered the strawberry avocado toast, which was unexpectedly delicious and refreshing! My husband had the smoked salmon avocado toast and it was so filling he couldn't finish it! We got the kid's meal for our child, which I'm assuming he enjoyed very much as well? He was speechless for sure the fresh-made poptart was pretty good! Many thanks to Huey for taking care of us! Our seating was upstairs with other families also there for Father's Day, but seating was much quicker than I thought :) It was a little pricey for two adults and a toddler, but it was worth the visit go check it out!

They are definitely lighter on the sauce, so if that's your preference these are perfect. Personally, I like my wings a little saucier, so I would probably ask for extra sauce next time. The chicken itself was fried perfectly and the portion size was pretty solid. For my main, I got the buffalo chicken wrap with no buffalo sauce and it was amazing. The lettuce, guac, and pico all tasted fresh and paired really nicely with the breaded chicken in the wrap. My only complaint with it is they go pretty light on the guac and pico, so I wish there was a bit more of both. The pricing overall was fair too and didn't feel over the top for the quality and portions. The fries that came with the wrap deserve their own mention because they were phenomenal. Crispy golden brown on the outside with a soft, fluffy inside. Honestly, I'd come back just for the fries alone. I requested outdoor seating when making the reservation and they have a really nice outdoor section with a great atmosphere and view. They did a good job with the space they had, but the tables are pretty close together, so you can hear basically every conversation around you. The chairs were also a bit smaller and not the most comfortable for longer seating. Service was great all around. Our server was very polite and even helped my very undecided sister choose her meal. Everyone was friendly and it definitely feels like a nice place to bring friends or family. My only real complaint, and honestly this applies to a lot of places nearby, is the parking. It was pretty rough. Other than that, definitely a place I'd come back to.

We had a really nice dinner here…read more We tried the mushroom appetizer and the old bay pierogies both were really good. The ribeye steak was fantastic and the sauce complimented it really well. For drinks we had the rum and gin. The gin drink was fruity and my favorite out of the two. The desserts I would give probably 3-ish stars. We had the almond cake and it didn't have much of a taste and the whip cream that came on the side must have been accidentally mixed with something that had processed onions because it had a really strong onion aftertaste. Our waiter was really nice and gave really good recommendations. Overall it was a great experience and we will be back to try out their lunch

Pork Bites - I loved the flavor but thought this was pork belly and not ground pork. Overall, flavor was good but the texture wasn't great. Crispy Kale - this is very popular here and we really enjoyed it. The cumin yogurt really brought it together. Pickled Squid - Not what we expected but I actually really liked this dish. We did also order the Coconut Panna Cotta for dessert. The raspberry was pretty prominent here and wasn't as custard like as expected, just a little too soft but the flavor otherwise wasn't bad. Overall, everything was pretty good and I would visit again to try other items on their menu.

Everything on the menu looked really good which made narrowing it down pretty difficult, but staff was very patient, kind, and attentive. We were shocked at how big the portion sizes were when the food arrived and were very glad we only ordered two dishes. The oreo-les pancakes came in a stack of 4 and the omelet was also quite huge! The pancakes were very fluffy and packed with oreos. The omelet with the gravy sauce was good, but the hashbrowns were under seasoned (they did have old bay and salt/pepper shakers on the table which was nice to have) and the biscuit was a little denser than I would prefer. Overall, the food was pretty good. There are tons of items we wished we could've ordered so we'd definitely come back to try other things! We happened to come during Annapolis restaurant week, which allows you an appetizer, entree and dessert for $42 (only the ones listed on their RW menu). My companion decided on the lobster bisque, grilled halibut and lemon creme brûlée. I had the crispy fish Sammie (regular menu). The lobster bisque was velvety and thick with tender chunks of lobster and not heavy. The fish was flaky and tender, with hints of lemon over roasted Brussel sprouts. The dessert (not pictured) had a soft creamy custard texture with hints of lemon, topped by caramelized crunchy sugar shell. The fish sandwich was a barramundi filet fried and put in a brioche bun with bacon jam, remoulade and arugula. The remoulade had a nice kick. The fish was very fresh and has a great crunchy breaded exterior. The fries that accompanied the dish were also very good (generous portion). Service was impeccable and attentive.
