I've been to Allpro car repair for years. Good honest people. Even if it's just an oil change.

I have taken my Toyota Tacoma to AllPro twice now, once for issues with the truck starting, and once to have them check my power steering (it has a small leak) and my parking brake. Patrick spent 30 minutes with the starting issue and didn't charge me a dime because he couldn't replicate the problem. He spent an hour checking my power steering and parking brake, told me what it would take to fix the power steering leak, and actually advised me not to have it done yet as it wasn't necessary. He could have just done the work and made over $1000, but he didn't. He couldn't get the cabling for the parking brake, so he gave me a few suggestions for that. He didn't charge me anything for the diagnosis. Patrick is the most honest mechanic I have ever met. If he doesn't fix anything, he doesn't charge you anything. That is unheard of in today's world. He has gained me as a customer for as long as I live here. Anytime someone has vehicle issues, I always recommend his shop. My hat is off to him and his team for their honesty and integrity. Brought in my vehicle in to get new brakes, pads, disks were well worn etc,...was quoted for "middle of the road parts" not the best and not the worst. This guy (Pat) charged me over 800$$$$. I will say that at the time I was very much in need of brake services and don't know anyone I can bounce prices off of and get an idea on what these things should cost me. He is across the road from where I work so this was an easy choice because my co-workers have gone to this guy before and no problems ... recommended in fact (not for brakes but other things). Boo on me as I should have consulted a second opinion aka "shopping around".....Pat had called me later in the afternoon to inform me of a recall on my vehicle which I appreciated, however upon my scheduling the appointment with the dealership and having then gone in, they told me that this guy obviously price gouged me as it would have cost me less than 500$ at the dealership; same service. BEWARE! Never Again will I frequent this business, shame on you for taking advantage of me as a person, and shame on me for trusting in you. read more

Our car's warning lights came on halfway trough a trip from San Francisco to Seattle. A local dealer refused to offer advice, so we found Northwest All Pro Auto Clinic. The receptionist was kind and reassuring, and the mechanic very thoughtfully did all he could to analyze the problem, calling an out-of-town dealer to try to get the necessary part (and fixing an unrelated but concerning door lock issue, too!). He reassured us that the car was safe to get to Salem, and a dealership who had the part. Sympathetic and capable -- All Pro truly is! read more

We came down to Newport for a few days and had some car trouble. We stopped at 2 places that were very unhelpful and told us they were too busy to take a look at our car. We had to be back in Bellevue the next day, so we were a bit panicked. We ended up finding Patrick at Northwest Allpro...not only did he take the time to look at our car and figure out what the issue was, but he also fit us in the next morning and replaced the alternator so we could drive home. He was kind, fair and fixed our car in record time. I can't say enough how much I appreciate what they did for us. I was visiting the coast for a few days, and a battery terminal problem prevented my car from starting the night I arrived at the campground, a terrible experience for a woman travelling alone. The power windows on my Audi TT coupe had pretty much failed, the driver side frozen, the passenger side jerky and on the brink of failure. The decision was made to repair the driver side and just get the passenger side glass in the "up" position. They got the driver side working ok, except that last little half-inch "jump" that you see on coupe windows is not adjusted properly - the glass doesn't drop down enough and impacts the top window frame slightly when opening the door. Of greater concern, on the passenger side the window is STILL in the same position it was in when I brought the car in - slightly open. It was supposed to be closed. From the inside it almost appears to be closed, but from the outside it's obviously open a good 3/4 inch, enough to let the soon-to-come Oregon rain in. After ten days in the shop, a $1000+ bill and listening to several admonishments along the line of "we are the professional technicians and know better and shouldn't be questioned", this less-than-satisfactory result shows a troubling lack of attention to detail. read more

It isn't often, when you imagine yourself in a. strange city, and your car breaks down, that you think of a great, honest auto repair shop going above and beyond. But this shop is the exception to all you've heard or thought or experienced. Traveling alone, me & my grandson, down the Pacific Coast Hwy, I felt so vulnerable when my car broke down. Pat agreed to look at my car same day even though he would normally close at 1, and we were towed in at 11:45. He broke the news that the tensioner he needed want in stock and we'd be waiting 2 days for that. Our schedule was firm for work/ school reasons. I called to rent a car only to find the rental place wasnt open Saturday. Pat called me back (he'd sent my grandson & i to beachfront and we had such fun! ). He'd been calling astound and found our part! He stayed until 3pm working on that car and we derive 4.5 hours to our next destination with no problem. I will never forget the gift he gave us. He even checked my oil and made sure I was safe to go on my way. Businesses such as this should thrive and I truly hope his is a huge success! read more
