HORRIBLE. I don't recommend this place to anyone!! I have new tires I needed mounted & I was looking on yelp for some shops. I found this place so I called & the guy just answered "Hello?" And I had to ask him what shop this was to make sure it was the right number. I would have expected them to at least give a greeting or the name when answering the phone. That should have been the first red flag. I let him know what I needed & he said he can do it if I'm there soon. So I said I would be there in about 15 minutes. I showed up within the time frame (and it's about close to 10am) so if he told me to show up now, I'll do it but I also expected the shop would have time to do it in that moment which is why he wanted me there. As soon as I walk in, totally unfriendly. No greeting whatsoever & just plain rude. He tells me it won't be ready until 1pm to 3pm (which is when they close). I felt like it was a huge waste of time. I decided to go to Discount Tires in Tustin which is only 7 minutes away & they were amazing & super friendly. Customer service goes a long way. Take your money elsewhere. read more

Took my car in a few weeks ago due to AC issues. They told me they ran a thorough test and couldn't find out why one side was hotter than the other. A few weeks pass and my family and I decided to check if maybe we were just low on coolant. Our coolant was empty .... We got charged 150 plus dollars here for them to run an exam and they didn't even check to see if the coolant was full. Car AC is fine now. But you would think that checking to see if the coolant unit was full would be part of an AC diagnostics test. read more

New to the neighborhood looking for a shop that I can take my two cars to for maintainance. Just wanted a check engine light to be scanned and they wanted 90$ up front that would be applied to any services needed. If my car was running rough this wouldn't be a problem but I know it's just something silly. Great service and they were so fast! I got in my car with a low tire pressure signal and went to the gas station to fill up the air. I noticed there was a nail in my tire. I was in Diamond Bar at the time but live in Orange. I called 3 places in Diamond Bar that told me they couldn't take me for 3-4 hours or no time at all. I called Main Auto Care cause it is near my apartment and they said to bring it right in. They took my car right away and had it done in 10 min. Great service! read more

I thought my SUV had a major coolant leak so I had it towed to Main Auto Care. Troy and his staff assessed the problem and determined the leak was not as bad as I thought it was. (I probably could have driven it there). I felt comfortable that I could fix the issue myself and let Troy know I did not want the shop to do the repair. He was okay with that and very reasonable. Everyone at this shop moves very quickly and efficiently - they get you in and out as soon as possible. Prices are fair, and they're very upfront about charges and wait times. My synthetic oil change takes around 15-20 minutes, costs around $65, and is good for 5009 miles. UPDATE:: After leaving the review below, they reached out to me & provided a full refund so I added a star for customer service. ****** I came to these guys because they accept the Pep Boys Synchrony Car Care card, my regular mechanic did not. I already had an idea of what my car needed biased on what my regular mechanic had said. After these guys got under the hood, the price went up from what they quoted me, $800, to over $2,200. Now, I understand that this happens with cars but what these guys were telling me DID NOT add up. We told them that we were not going to proceed so they closed it up. We ended up paying almost $300 dollars of labor for them to replace a $30 dollar part. RIDICULOUS. (I have ALL the receipts if anyone needs further reason NOT to go here) I took my car back to my regular mechanic and he fixed what needed to be done for $500 dollars. These guys gave me a "list of recommended repairs" with that over priced receipt and of the five or six things listed, only one was needed. They were TOTALLY trying to charge me for work that was most DEFENATELY not needed. I regret coming here and wasting my time. These guys tried to take advantage of me. Maybe because I had that car care card. Maybe because I'm female. Whatever the reason, you should be ashamed of yourselves. You will reap what you sow. read more

The gentleman up front greeted me right away and handle the service I needed very professionally to his maintenance guys in the back and I was in & out of there with ease. Car trouble away from home! I am very thankful for these guys....I live in Las Vegas and traveled to CA with my wife and kids for a long Disney weekend. Before leaving Las Vegas I had my Sequoia serviced at a local Las Vegas shop....Oil change, tires rotated etc...They also told me that I needed my timing belt replaced, I had noted a frequent whining and that actually made sense so I had them go ahead and replace it. After a 345-ish mile drive into our VRBO in Orange Co the noise/whine had started again 90 miles from our rental home and was now unbelievably loud. I was concerned just to make it there and feared that it was a bad bearing or something along those lines. I looked online for an auto service shop and found that these guys were only a mile away. I showed up explained everything and they took the car in and determined within 10 minutes that the Las Vegas based service center had not only installed the wrong belt, but they also routed it incorrectly around the pulley system! They had the correct belt in stock and installed it now properly routed.....provided me with the old belt to take back to the garage in LV etc...Look, my whole point to this is that today in a world where it's real hard to know who you can trust, and even more concerning, who will easily take advantage of a situation...like this.....These guys just did their job... like I was a customer that had been going there for 20 years...that's how I was treated. And btw the bill was actually 20% lower for the same line item that was done incorrectly in Las Vegas.....I wish they were in Las Vegas because I'd never take my vehicles anywhere else to be serviced. read more
