I came in to grab a quick lunch to go. The lady that helped me was not very friendly. Not the best customer service. The part of the restaurant I could see seamed clean. I ordered sesame chicken with fried rice. The fried rice had no flavor at all and the chicken was almost 90% breading. The chicken was also way overcooked very dry and chewy. I really wanted to like this place. It's closer than other carry out Chinese. Sadly the food was forgettable. I ordered he shrimp lo mein and my husband ordered the beef lo mein. I had to church it up when I got back home but ended up tossing it and ordered from another place. I think it's worth mentioning, I really should have known, I almost changed my mind after I called to order and the women on the phone was so rough abrasive an curt it was off putting. Dirty kitchen and eating area. Surly service. No looking in the eye. I paid $20 for a dinner chicken entree. When I got it home, it was only meat and rice with sauce. No vegetables. The meat was 15% burnt. The food tasted awful. I wasn't as hungry as I thought and tossed all but a few bites. I wish I'd paid attention to the warning signs at this place. Call for lunch on Friday.Went to pick up the food around 3.The lunch menuordered chicken Egg Fu yawn my favorite. It was yok the chicken tasted so bad that I couldn't even enjoy the egg food yawn. Then we ordered sesame chicken. The chicken in the sesame was no good, wasn't hot? The only thing really that was good was the beef lo Maine. So far, Main Moon is the best Chinese place we've found in Loveland. They're always quick to make our order, it's close to where we live, and we really like that they use lighter oil than a lot of other places. They also have one of my all-time favorite dishes: moo shu! I almost always get the moo shu shrimp. My spouse loves their crispy duck and pork/ham fried rice. We both love their egg drop soup. Highly recommend if you're looking for some tasty food and live near-by. read more

I have been a customer of Main Moon for over a decade. Their food quality has become worse and worse while their prices have almost doubled since 2020 The food itself has doubled the onions and green peppers while decreasing the protein. Onions and green peppers are cheap. Protein is more costly. It was really nice to have a local chinese food restaurant. Charging $45.00 for two entree's and fried rice that is more onions than anything else is gouging on an epic level read more

I had the Chicken Lo-Mein and it was decent. I wasn't expecting gourmet and it wasn't, but it was tasty, hot and filling at a fair price. I also got it super fast and after a long day it was nice to order and be walking out in less than 5 minutes. I have ( literally) been eating at this Loveland location for over 30 years. Unfortunately I moved 2 years ago, and cannot get to the location as often as I would have liked. I also like many dishes from the restaurant, thus I don't order the same thing every visit. To start, I ordered (2) house Lo-mein dishes. The noodles were (NOT) lo-Mein. They were either (soba, or udon). Thick and not good at all. When anyone that is a lo-mein fan thinks loMein we think long soy noodles. Not thick while rice noodles. Not only that ordering the house special with 3 meats and only getting 6 shrimp and limited specs of chicken and beef ( both over cooked) and extremely chewy. But specs about 3 micro pieces each in the order. And a super sweet, almost added sugar flavor. In the ( absolutely not lomein dish ) I would suggest they look into their noodles and buy ( actual lo-mein noodles in the future as they had on several occasions prior ). And actually ad. Meat to the ( more expensive ) dish. If I could rate this dish it would only be 1 star. Keep in mind I have eaten at this location for years. About 6-34 times a year. Since I was 11 years old. I am 41. And generally it been 100% (4/5) star every time. But I have been unable to make it in since last year. We also ordered the egg drop soup. Came colder then it should. With a ( fake yellow ) additive. It's taste was, old and should not have been served. It was not up to prior orders expectations. It could only have a 1 star rating this time. Where (5) stars is its norm. It was also somewhat altered from how I usually have it. And that alteration was not a good choice. Next I ordered ( pan fried dumplings ). Keep in mind I have never really liked the sauce that tastes like (grape juice) but the sauce was even worse this time. And the dumplings themselves were very wet; soggy; and bland. I could not even finish the (1) I started. Dough was undercooked and the sides burnt. To finish a fried dumpling after pan, put in oil for 15 seconds to avoid undercook dough and wetness. I did not have a "crunch" when I bit into it, as I normally do. 1 star again for the dish. Where it varies from 3/5 stars normally. We got the ( garlic chicken ) dinner dish. My wife suggested it smelled like a ( fart or diaper). The sauce was to sweet, like eating a cherry cookie from the store. But it was not all bad once removed from the sauce. she gives it a 2 star. Rating. Usually it would be 3/4 but this dish has also changed. Per norm we ordered the "sesame chicken". But even this sauce has changed to , what tasted like a ( shopping store ) cheap brand. It was not delicious at all. This normal 5 star dish has now become a 2 star dish. We ordered the teriyaki chicken sticks ( they are still 5 star ) came hot and delicious and they have not changed. Except we now get them in a fried bag instead of a dinner tray. The pork egg rolls were also ok, minus the excess oil from not allowing them to drain properly, and the mild discoloration, more brown almost burnt. 3 star, almost no crunch, only the ends were crunchy from the excess oil making them soggy in the fried bag. I would also point out the ( massive price difference) between calling it in, verses ordering from the online ( restaurant webpage). Where I made my pre order before calling in the order , which was suggested on our last visit. We were told we would save $$ by calling our order in. But the price web was $74.83 vs the almost $100 ticket from calling in the order. The site is uschinesemenu.com in case the management needs to change pricing on that webpage. Also when calling in, I asked a few quick questions about the menu and taste. Since the spareribs used to be made with a sweet ( cherry like sauce ) and has since changed to BBQ. Which is an obvious mistake, since the Chinese sauce is a traditional pork sauce for spareribs. I would like to point out phone employee was ( what felt like " very rude" and seemed upset and irritated by the questions. ) Did you change owners ? Or is it COVID? read more

This is, by far, the worst restaraunt I've ever wasted my money on. For a whopping $85 I got; stale sesame chicken that's obviously been frozen. Cashew chicken, mixed with shrimp and lo mein (I did not order that). Old fried dumplings, microwaved to oblivion. Crispy Duck, in the form of some sort of breaded loaf, also obviously previously frozen and microwaved.... and fried rice, I very specifically insisted not include onions of any sort because I am allergic, brimming with slivvered onions just waiting with anticipation to catch me unaware and kill me. Let me not forget the potent after taste of fish in EVERYTHING, giving the distinct impression that cross contamination is this chefs specialty. What blows my mind, though, is that this business responded to my Google review and noted that I never included an allergy alert. Insane, considering I left that note of an onion allergy on every dining note on every item I purchased, and also the delivery note. Do not buy your food here. Been coming here for years now for the best crispy pork/veg egg rolls I've ever had in Colorado - amazing variety of meals to try, you won't ever get tired of Main Moon. Seriously, the sesame chicken is to die for & the lo mein will have you hooked but the good options are endless here. Hate leaving this one. My wife and I have eaten here for years, even during visits after we moved away. The last two visits have been extremely disappointing. We suspect that ownership has changed? The food we got tonight was not Main Moon as far as we could tell. Every recipe seems to have changed. Also, in the last 2 attempts at ordering "house special" egg foo young, we got plain egg patties with NO meat whatsoever. This place was so gross. The windows, floors, walls, and tables were all filthy. When I walked in the teenager behind the register was staring at his phone wearing a hat and SUNGLASSES. The menu had lots of pictures-nothing resembling the food I actually received, and there were no prices on the main menu. The dish I ordered, Kung POW shrimp was $16.99, way over priced in my opinion. I was asked for a tip before the transaction was even completed. I was never asked whether I wanted take out or dine-in. When I finally received my order it was all bagged up like they really just wanted me to leave. I had nowhere else to eat it so I opened everything up and sat down to eat at one of their 4 tables. The entire time I was eating, I could hear the cooks in the back watching loud YouTube videos. Now I could've bared through all of these annoyances if the food was really good, but it was disgusting. Everything was the same texture and flavor in a yellowy brown slime. AT LEAST HALF of the dish was celery! Mushy celery, mushy shrimp, mushy carrots, bamboo shoots and peanuts. I ended up just picking out the 5 pieces of shrimp and the peanuts and threw the rest away. I wouldn't even have eaten that much except for the fact that I had spent almost $20 by this time just with the entire and tip, no drink included. One last thing, as I was finishing up, two girls came out from behind the counter, one of which was itching and picking at her private parts the whole way across the room. read more

I'm not sure if you can get anything delivered faster in Loveland. My favorite part about calling these guys is that they always tell me "45 minutes". Then I turn around and my door bell is ringing. Pick up is also quick and easy (even if you don't call ahead!). My son begs me some nights for the Orange Chicken or Sesame Chicken. I lobe their Hunan Chicken the best. Like a lot of the reviewers here, I haven't had Chinese food in forever. I posted in a Loveland Facebook group, since my previous favorite, Wonderful Dragon, is apparently permanently closed. I got over 20 responses (still receiving more) and I just happened to pick Main Moon. All the reviews about poor customer service over the phone are very surprising to me...I ordered over the phone and it was quick, easy, and they were straight to the point. Not particularly friendly, but not rude by any means, either. Just sounded like any other person in the food industry closing on a Saturday night. I ordered the golden sauce chicken and shrimp, beef lo mein, and the dragon and phoenix. I HIGHLY recommend the dragon and phoenix. That was my boyfriend's choice and I loved it more than mine, much to his dismay. Buttery shrimp paired with the general tao's chicken felt like 2 separated dishes. Keep in mind that I took the photo attached to this review after we tore it apart. The noodles were also fantastic. Everything tasted exactly as I had hoped, and it was warm, neatly packaged, fairly priced, and ready very quickly. read more

It's my go to place for Sesame Chicken, I ask for more spice. Portion sizes are for two meals for me. Have also had the tofu and vegetable and the chicken lo mein. All are very good. Meals are hot, prepared fresh , and quick I've never had to wait more than 15 to 20 min. I would have given this place more than 5 stars if they made a Korean Gangjeon chicken. But they don't.
