My spouse and I dined in at Asian Cafe & Grill last week and we really enjoyed ourselves. The portion sizes are huge and the service was great. I got the sweet and sour tofu which was SO good. Some of the best tofu I've ever had; the exterior was crunchy and the inside was creamy and supple. The sauce was sweet, tangy, and sticky. It came with a choice of rice on the side and I picked white, which was good. They have a whole vegetarian section which is awesome. My spouse got the pork fried rice and he said it was very good. He said the pork had a slight sweetness to it and the pieces were huge, plus there were large pieces of scrambled eggs in the dish. We'll definitely check it out again. read more

Food was better than expected considering the location, in a shopping center well off the highway. Took an employee to lunch since we were in the area. We were seated quickly and the restaurant was only mildly busy. About half full but a contestant stream of patrons coming and going. Service was quick as well. Food was about average, maybe slightly better because of the spicy sauce I ordered with my beef and broccoli. It was spicy but not too hot. Just about right. We've been going to Asian Cafe for over 10 years. Quality and service have become awful. My kids that occasionally eat boogies even said the food was gross. Noodles were drunken, but drunk with a slurry of charred soy sauce and liquid heart attack. The chicken plates were more bread than anything. We learned from our last visit to avoid the sushi and have a better tomorrow. The place is really tired and neglected. Using the old menus for scrap paper to make table number tent signs was a nice touch of tacky. Loveland needs someone to step up and make Asian food tasty again. read more

Well I have been coming here for the last 12 years and today was the last. Waited 45 mins just to get drinks. After 1-1/2hrs and not even drink refills we left . Only about 10 people in the restaurant. This place has went way down hill. read more

It's OK, but that's it. I had the Szechuan beef. It was tender enough, flavorful enough. Nothing outstanding. It was loaded with onions and celery. Loaded. See my photo. Service was kind of spotty. Had to ask for silverware, had to ask for chopsticks, was brought my soup without a spoon. Tasted my sister's sesame beef. The beef was cut a bit thickly and it was somewhat tough. I didn't pursue it after one bite. There is a ton of food given. My sister's friend had the wraps (translucent wraps). Those looked good, She says, though that the prices have more than doubled. How they served my white rice was a mystery. As you can see from the photo, it is a big ice cream scoop overflowing the bowl. How can you eat or serve from the bowl without it spilling all over the table? I ended up eating it just like a ice cream cone. LOL. Overall, not memorable but OK. 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Tucson-top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. Would definitely recommend you trying it to get your own take on it. 2* = Not so good. Would not recommend at all. Waste of money. 1* = How are they still in business? I ordered takeout from Asian Cafe and Grill on Sat afternoon and I had to throw it away when I got home. I ordered the chicken pine nut lettuce wraps and the lettuce was yellow and brown. It looked like they gave me a part of the core. The Chilean Sea Bass was either rubbery or super dry and so thick with sauce it looked like they reheated left overs and covered it up with old sauce. I've eaten there before many times so this caught me off guard. I tried to get in touch with them on their website to tell them personally about this, but the website is set up to turn down any feedback requests with 1 star. That is why I am reviewing them on here too. I feel like anybody that is going to eat here from now on needs to know what value they get now. I paid nearly 80.00 including gratuity and just tossed it all out. I don't want a refund, I just want people to be aware of what they are trying to get away with. In hindsight I should have checked the bag ( stapled 5 times lol ) but I have never had a reason in the past. I just really hope they do better with their guests going forward. read more

Based on several visits: Asian Cafe offers tasty food, attentive and courteous service, and quite-reasonable prices. My personal "order this again" list includes the sweet-n-sour chicken and the sesame chicken. Hot-n-sour soup is on the bubble. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the egg drop soup, but I wouldn't order it again. When it's cold and snowy outside, nothing beats to have a hugo bowl of Pho. I had Pho Dac biet, which combination all the meat normally found in Pho. The soup came plain with garnish on the side, serves with the hoisin sauce and for sure the sriracha on the side. I was bit skeptical after reading the yelp reviews, but after dinner tonight I believe Asian Cafe & Grill deserves a much updated review! The Kung Pao chicken was PLENTIFUL. Plenty of veggies, chicken and plenty of peanuts which I absolutely love in stir fry. Medium spicy has just the right amount of kick to it. My partner ordered chicken fried rice and the flavor was great. His only complaint was that his dish needed more vegetables. This restaurant has had many reiterations over the past two decades. It was quite good two decades ago: it was a favorite then it went in decline and was mediocre for the past decade. I was pleasantly surprised on a recent visit with multiple aspects. Most of our table of six had Vietnamese bowls, mine was the pork spring roll. This was one of the best bowls I think I've ever eaten. The rest of the table with their assortment of chicken, pork and shrimp bowls were equally impressed. The service was extremely friendly, fast, and courteous. The owner came out and greeted us and everyone was so pleasant. I wonder if new ownership has instilled a motivation for outstanding customer service. The inside has been redone and is quite clean and nice with an addition to the southside. While I have avoided this restaurant, purposely for much of the last decade, we will definitely be returning. read more

First time back since they expanded. Look is much cleaner and brighter. Server was pleasant and fairly attentive. The food however was VERY DISAPPOINTING. Got Singapore Styled Fried Noodles. My kids eat dried ramen from a plastic package that has more flavor. Every aspect of this dish was bland. They brought me General Tso's Chicken as a replacement. Should have been spicy, according to the menu, but was not at all. Fried rice was not fried rice. It was white rice with lots of soy sauce (no veggies, egg, etc.). Much pricier than previous visit. The Drunken Noodles were tasty (although a little hotter on the scale than I'd expect for the star rating I chose) and the Double Pan Fried Noodles are the reason I'll keep coming back.
