Hubs and I stopped in the other night (Wednesday) for dinner to celebrate our anniversary. We ordered the veggie egg rolls, rare beef pho and combo #7 pho. The veggie egg roll were overly crunchy with not much inside. I only ate a couple of bites and my teeth hurt. However the pho was...ahhhh so good. Rare steak pho, the broth was super flavorful, rich and deep. I slurped half of it down with no adulteration. I usually put hoisin, sriracha and lime but I didn't want to alter it at all. The noodles were cooked perfectly and there was plenty of the steak. The combo was loaded with tendon and tripe to hubby's delight and he said the same about the broth and noodles. If we're in the area we will definitely be back but next time we'll skip the egg rolls. read more

It came with a lot of Thai basil, and as a bonus, some cilantro. Plenty of sliced jalapeño, bean, sprouts, and lime. Very generous. The meatballs were a little more spongy than I normally prefer. They were quite large, and the serving was very generous. The rare meat was also fine and generous. The broth was pretty good, although not lot of depths of flavor. Meaning, I could not taste the star anise,ginger or garlic. Still enjoyable. I had a Thai iced tea with my meal and it was good. My husband got the rare beef only. It was packed with a lot of beef and he enjoyed it very much. He commented that the broth was very light. The inside of this place is really bright and traditional. I liked the artwork and all the tiles. The service was very prompt and friendly. She checked back on us several times, and the price is right here. You get a very large bowl of pho. I love eating this place, the food are delicious and would love to continue to go there, but after this last visit I no longer think it's worth it. I am vietnamese and fluent at it. The owner of this establishment belittled my biracial marriage and my tattoos like I'm a second class citizens. I was too shocked to say anything at the time, but to tell you the truth, I really don't think he cared if I heard and understood him. He spoked it loud enough for the entire restaurant to hear. I will be sad to miss out on the delicious food, but I can make my own viet food, thank you very much. Please rethink your poor behavior and bad ethics. My first time trying Vietnamese food and I am obsessed. The grilled pork was so sooo flavorful. The egg roll was delicious, unlike anything I've ever had but I could've eaten 14 more! The fish sauce gave such an amazing flavor. The chicken pho was also yummy! We also had crab rangoon which were so crispy and delish. Amazing portion size for the price!! I wasn't expecting it to be an order at the counter type of place but we still got amazing service. The Sesame Chicken with Fried Rice was quite enjoyable - a safe choice that paid off. My wife did not think too much of her Chicken Curry with Fried Rice; I sampled it and the fishy taste she had mentioned was definitely there. We asked why some items on the menu are in red while most are in black, and the answer was that the red items are "spicy". Both our choices were in red and neither dish was spicy at all. Split a shrimp spring roll and had two pho soups with rare beef and meatballs. Savory broth with plenty of lime, basil and sprouts to go. I would definitely recommend the pho here. The noodles in the soup were quite tasty. However, my friend ended up getting a noodle Boon bowl. The eggroll looked like it was cooked a couple of days prior and was so greasy and gross she couldn't even eat it. Any person who's had the ball before knows that it comes with salad underneath. Again the salad was all greasy and old in appearance. The only good part about it was the chicken was fresh noodles or clumped in lumped together. Additionally, I paid to have extra vegetables in my soup and I didn't feel like got any extra. I called the waitress over and they did bring me a bowl of steamed vegetables as an apology, but told me that would not do that again. What kind of customer services that when I paid five dollars extra for it? Once again, the food was just Soso. I had this place for takeout back in March 2022, where I ordered Pho with Brisket, that I did enjoy. However, I went back here today (2/6/23). I ordered the cashew shrimp lunch special. I didn't enjoy my main course. It came with a ton of celery and the fried rice was bland (similar to the stuff made in school cafeterias). The shrimp in it were decent though. The special came with a hot & sour soup that I found decent. I also got a spring roll with chicken, cabbage, and vermicelli noodles. That was the best part of my meal. This place has a combination of Vietnamese, Chinese, & Thai. So, I'd recommend going to Dragon Inn (in Eaton) for better stir-fry entrees for the Northern Colorado area. read more

I recently discovered this place after hearing rave reviews in a Loveland fb page. I am delighted to have found it! I am a huge fan of Youngs ( Fort Collins) Shrimp Noodle bowl -HUGE! But I can't always go to Fort Collins to get it, PHO LAN is a great substitute for me. I've had it 3 times now, 2 times as a pick up order and once in house. Very good, flavorful, properly cleaned shrimp , and a lot of a few fresh veggies matched with perfect noodles. If...if..only their orange sauce was as rich in flavor and the types & amounts of veggies matched Youngs I'd be the happiest girl in the world! But I have to tell you Pho Lan is delicious. Eggs rolls excellent , my husband has tried several dishes his favorite so far is the Lemongrass Seafood with pepper sauce. Highly recommend. We also got egg drop soup tonight which was a fail, very thick like drinking straight egg yolk, no biggie to us. just not at all to either of our tastes. The take out box of rice was pretty broken down to a white gloppy mush and was not edible...but Everything else has been on point. Solid 4 out of 5 stars. Every pho they make is made with love, and served with fresh veggies. This restaurant is family owned and I personally went to high-school with the daughters who help keep it running! I love their Szechuan and you will too, as it comes piping hot with a slight kick. Don't be afraid to try their ragoons, since everyone loves them and they are delicious.
