After going through an açaí craving this week. The main squeeze could easily become a weekly stop in my day to day planning. The shop is small but parking is relatively easy to get to with both street and a parking area a few hundred meters away. The women working today were emitting this calm tone and it felt very welcoming. In ordering an açaí bowl, I liked the options you could chose from and customization was easy when we needed to leave out a specific item. The oasis was calling my name and still is after consumption. Yes $10 is a lot for a snack however the fresh fruit, huge coconut strips and honey drizzle elevated it beyond other places that do frozen fruit and leave out the extras. The food is good, nothing super special about their acai bowls. I like the Oasis bowl. The bowls are better than the smoothies in my opinion. This is probably the only spot in Alameda if you want an acai bowl not unless you want to hit Jamba Juice. The service is quick and you won't be waiting long. They accept phone orders and are usually done within 10 minutes. The ambiance is what you would think if you are going to a juice/smoothie shop. There's a parking lot next door however that lot can get full at times so you'll find yourself circling the block until you can find parking. read more

This is one of their newer locations. I usually go to the one in Oakland on Lakeshore Avenue. Price wise, this place beats all the other açaí spots I've been to...and I've been to quite a few. I usually order the Beleeza Bowl (pretty sure I spelled that wrong). It's only $7 but it's filling. Their açaí base also has the right consistency, texture, and flavor. This location wasn't as busy as the one on Lakeshore normally is. I was helped by the owner. He seemed a little tied up on a phone call so I waited before ordering. He whipped the bowl up really fast and later asked me if everything was ok. There's a countertop to sit and eat with stool chairs. I'm a regular here because of the price and the quality. I definitely recommend giving it a try. Tip the employees - I think they need a little encouraging and sometimes they get swamped but they don't complain. The juices and smoothies are organic (which I love) and come in a wide array of flavors that are exotic, yet, straightforward and satisfying. If I'm in the mood for something more elaborate I simply add from one of their many 'enhancer' options to spice it up a little. When you pay $8.50 for a 16oz drink, and 1/5 of your cup is froth you feel a little jipped. They serve juices, smoothies and açaí bowls. They also do wellness shots and have various superfood toppings you can add to your order. I got the cool earth juice and my friend got the heart beet juice. I also got the ginger wellness shot that comes with a slice of pineapple as a chaser. The ginger shot was no joke. It was super spicy and potent but I felt like it did my body good. The pineapple slice was much needed afterwards. The ginger burn stayed with me for a couple minutes. I added bee pollen for an extra fee. After I paid, and they gave me the bowl, there was no bee pollen. So I had to ask "is the bee pollen under the granola". She said no and didn't seem to happy I brought it up. I would rate the bowl a 6/10 Texture was not that great. I love thicker açaí, but it had too much liquid. I've waited a long time for Alameda to get a juice bar/acai bowl place! Visited here on a Saturday morning and this place was poppin'. Everyone was out getting their juice or acai bowl fix. I am a little overdue on writing this review so hopefully they fixed this but it looked like they were a bit understaffed the morning I went. I don't think they knew how popular they'd be in this town! Either way, I was pumped to have an acai spot nearby so I was willing to wait to try! My husband and I both ordered acai bowls. Delicious smoothies and açaí bowls! My favorite açaí bowl is the Alpha. Super thick and creamy with great toppings. The bowls are usually packed to the top and the portion is worth the price of $10. I'm very picky with açaí bowls but this place is the best! The price might seem high but it's definitely worth the money and reasonably priced for what you're getting. Also, they are very fast. This is my favorite smoothie place and go to place on a hot day. I will make the 20 min drive every time. The smoothies are very refreshing and have a perfect consistency. Not super thick or watery. I have only had the smoothies but the açaí bowls look very tasty as well. Horrible customer service EVERY time I come into this establishment. The employees always look and act unhappy to be there and all around just lack quality customer service. The last time I went in there was the last time I will ever be back-I asked to have almond butter blended into my açaí bowl,(such a huge deal apparently), and over heard the two girls who were creating my açaí bowl making fun of me and straight up talking shit! Wth! I always came here to support a local business, but with such awful employees I will be glad to take my money elsewhere. Food is average. Walked in, friendly greeting from 2 girls. I was allowed to bring my dog, great! I was quite excited about this and got the essential greens. I walked out to sit with my dog and he got water. The $6 drink was half ice and half the ingredients. Spoiler alert, we can buy these ingredients and more for $6 at trader's joes with good blender and reusable bottle. What I am saying is extremely overpriced. It is like jumbo juice, exactly! There is seemingly no difference with the size $2 more. It is the COVID-19, people out of jobs but I like to support my local businesses that are at least reasonable if not excellent. This drink watered down my money. It should be $3-4. This location is slightly larger compared to the Oakland Lakeshore location. They have big windows which brings in a lot of amazing natural lighting and they also have a wonderful seating area surrounded by pretty plants.
