    Stuffed French Toast

Used to be my favorite breakfast and consistently good, but this is the first to go I've gotten of the stuffed French toast and 1. Why would they put the syrup on it. 2. They put it in a paper bag that sat less than an hour in my way home and to do one errand and is disgusting. 3. CREAM CHEESE IS SALTY AND SOUR AND CURDLED I'm sure they're just going to say it sat too long but it wasn't sitting that long didn't even get cold texture on French toast was perfect but WHY SERVE OBVIOUSLY CURDLED PRODUCT

Returned to the Main Stop after their fire and so happy to find the same amazing food and fabulous service!! We had the Loaded Burrito and a bowl of fresh fruit. The burrito was delicious and the fruit was fresh and yummy!! The remodel is lovely, clean and nicely updated!!

I was in fast enough to put my credit card on the table I guess so another bill was brought to my table.

I came in for a special brunch, and we were very much looking forward to a leisurely meal, which we communicated to multiple staff members. Driving all the way from Seattle to come see my niece that had just lost her father. Unfortunately, our service felt extremely rushed. The fast pace and what felt like a lack of consideration for our request created a very unwelcoming atmosphere. While the food was fine, the service overshadowed the meal, leaving us feeling unwelcome and unheard. It's a shame, as we had hoped to relax and catch up." I'm sorry I couldn't get out of your restaurant fast enough for you. And thank you for making me feel that way. Also thank you for not one bill but two bills at the table. Seemed a little excessive to me.

The food was very fresh and the service was friendly and fast. The only complaint I have is the country burrito which we would get quite often was just packed full of mushy potatoes. It was a disappointment that's for sure. I'm giving 4 stars still since everything else was good. Just hope that isn't the way they are cooking the burrito now.

Front counter-always a great breakfast here!

Wonderful food that rivals any big city but here in Yakima. I've had the various machaca and chorizo Benidicts and scrambles and they've been delicious. Service were is so friendly, efficient, and welcoming that it makes it a pleasure to come here!

Fun place to go for breakfast! Located inside a former train station it has kept its old school charm. They do American food with a "Mexican twist" so I decided to try the CHURRO WAFFLES. Had high hopes for the dish but unfortunately I didn't like it! It took them a good 30 minutes to prepare them (restaurant was NOT busy) and when they came out I understood why. They took a waffle, the heavily DEEP FRIED it and then did a HEAVY coating of sugar and some cinnamon. It was just too much. You basically had a churro instead of transforming a waffle into something cool. I would skip the deep frying step. A crispy waffle is enough and then LIGHTY dust it with sugar/cinnamon. Despite not liking my dish I still have them 4 stars because I liked the creative effort and would like to come back and try something else.

First time here and was not disappointed. We had a party of 6 and they seated us promptly. Our server was attentive and friendly! Have selections that he liked and everything he said was delicious! We ordered Eggs Benedict, Chiliques, Machaca Scramble, and traditional breakfast! Check this place out!!

Charizo Benedict w/hash browns. Highly recommended from our server.. it was outstanding.

The food is amazing! They truly care about the presentation of their dishes along with flavor. Portion is generous too. The ambiance is kind of weird & quirky. First of all, it took awhile for us to get noticed to be seated even though they weren't busy. They originally sat us in a dark area by the entrance and we asked to be located in the main dining with much more natural lighting. The first server who sat us was very rude & ignored us. The second server was a darling and soo friendly! I made sure our tip went directly to her. Overall, she made our visit pleasant and we enjoyed the food. Highly recommend for food alone!

My family and I made a trip to Yakima and stayed in downtown. After checking Yelp, we stumbled upon Main Stop on the Ave within a mile of our hotel. This place was near a jail but don't let that scare you. The area looked historic and the building was an old train station converted into a restaurant on one side and a coffee shop on the other. Inside was super cool and had good vibes. My daughter loved the look and I loved the big windows in the dining area where we were sitting. Food was great! I sampled almost every dish my family got lol. And I tried Chilaquiles for the first time. Loved it. I have made something similar at home but not quite the same with the red sauce. It was super tasty. I wonder what it would taste like with chorizo added into the mix? I thought the overall flavor was a little mild and I think a little spice would've stepped it up a notch for me. My daughter had the sweet crepes with cream cheese filling and strawberries. She practically liked her plate. She did say it was a little too much sweetness for her but getting a side of bacon helped break it up. Once she started moving from salty bacon to sweet crepe bites, she loved it. My hubby and one kiddo had the Main Stop omelette. My kiddo said his omelette was super good and it had the right amount of jalapeño. It too spicy and just the right flavor added. My youngest had the French Toast Platter and I snuck a bite! That French toast was fluffy and so good! If I wasn't already full I would've ate more of his too! He is a little picky about his hash browns but said these ones were great. Crispy and hot. (He was scooping them into his mouth like his life depended on getting every shredded piece of potato) So glad we did a little search and found this spot. My kids wanted to go to Denny's because it's familiar. So glad I didn't give them the choice!

Country Fried Steak w/ Cheesy Hashbrowns (9/10): This was a really good fried steak and the country gravy was extremely flavorful. I'd recommend for any CFS lovers Country Burrito (9/10): Burrito was awesome! The sausage gravy on the outside with a CFS and hashbrowns inside was insane! Egg Benny (7/10): The Benny was okay/solid. Didn't blow me away and the sauce could have had more flavor Overall (8/10: Staff was pleasant and the food was really good! Saw good reviews and I'd say it lived up to the reviews. Food presentation was great as well. They are connected to a coffee shop that makes some good drinks as well!

Great service, cool building. We enjoyed the food. French toast was just right not too thick and crispy at the edges. Benedict was cooked perfectly. Portions were big! Good deal for the price.

Cool old train station turned cafe.

Excellent service! Kathy the waitress was solicitous and helpful, even when I occasionally asked for just a cup of hot water.

Crafted is an upscale restaurant with a menu that changes but is always locally sourced. Be sure to get your reservation beforehand as this restaurant is not open every day plus it's popular. There is a parking lot that is ample. Upon entering you will notice a clean, friendly and trendy vibe. Oh and the menu is for sharing so your table gets to try a variety. I loved the carrot dish and the cauliflower. They were special eve though I wouldn't ordinarily say that about vegetables. The round bread was soft and the pasta was phenomenal. The Zabuton steak had a nice favorite but if was my least favorite. This dinner was incredibly good and I will be back!

We ended up being seated out back on the patio this time which was quite cute, with a boho vibe. We ordered the steak tartar which was incredible! Melted in your mouth. The cauliflower was very flavorful! Loved the addition of the pickled red onion! The Zabuton steak was good, but not NEAR as tender as the picanha steak we had last month! Really enjoyed the toum pasta with fresh apricots! We were pleasantly surprised by what seemed like such odd ingredients coming together so beautifully! Seems they change up their menu fairly often.
