I do keep my cockers' hair short to avoid mats and keep them cool in the Summer. But, yes, they sometimes get matted and gross but Linn always calls me to discuss shaving them down, which I do if that is what she recommends. I have them groomed every 6-7 weeks which keeps them clean and looking good. She's also helped when my dogs have been "skunked". She got her smelling much better than I could at home. Her move to Blue Lake meant driving a little further but it is well worth it to know your babies area safe in her care. I highly recommend her.
