Terrible experiences here. The first time I brought my puppy…read morein, they failed to give us the pain medication that had been prescribed after she was in a serious car accident. She was in significant pain, and we spent three days trying to call and get in contact with Critters Without Litters, but never received a response. Eventually, we had to buy the medication ourselves at CVS, and it ended up costing about the same as taking her to a professional veterinarian. The next time we went, they scheduled our puppy for a Thursday appointment. We live about an hour away, so the drive took up a large part of our day. When we arrived, they told us we weren't on the schedule, even after we showed them our appointment confirmation. We asked if they could still give our puppy the vaccination we had been scheduled for, since the scheduling error was on their end. They refused. Their response was essentially, "No, sorry." When we explained that it would only take a few minutes, they replied, "I know, but we're not doing it. If you want it done, go somewhere else." It's really a shame. Knowing everything that's been happening with our pets lately, including Miranda's rescue, makes it difficult to trust people in our community who work with animals, especially when they have an opportunity to help and choose not to. They knew our puppy suffers from motion sickness and understood how difficult it was to get her there, not to mention the hour-long drive, the cost of gas, the time it took out of our day, and the unnecessary stress it put on her. Instead of showing understanding, flexibility, or empathy, they were extremely difficult to communicate with. We left feeling disappointed by the lack of compassion and accountability for mistakes that were entirely avoidable. If you want the best for your pets I would recommend going elsewhere.
