    Toffee Coffee -Yum!
    Tony J.

Friendly faces welcomed us in to this warm, family owned restaurant. I had heard they served Crema coffee. Not only was that true, but they source quite a lot of their menu items from local favorite places. I ordered the carne burrito bowl (they also have chicken). It was served in a large, shallow bowl and arranged very pleasantly. They steak, lettuce, cheese, beans, and rice all separated with a light drizzle of sour cream over. It was delicious! The wife had the frittata which was cooked to perfection by the way. It's a baked frittata, if you like undercooked eggs, you may want to order something else. The wife loved the hash brown casserole. She said it tasted like Cracker Barrel's. I finished her fruit cup for her. We loved the atmosphere and the food. We can't wait to go back again.

Really great food, most in-house made. Counter service is convenient and works well here. Make sure you order the house -made original recipe tomato soup--it's fantastic! Pair it with a melt in your mouth grilled cheese. The owners are friendly, nice people who love running this restaurant, and it shows. Only location, and well worth a small detour.

You have to get the hash brown casserole as we ended up ordering extra to take home.

Literally craving the meal again as I write about it. Service: Our food came out very quickly and we were sat right away. Ambiance: Plenty of seating; it was a nice warm vibe and they also had a rooftop available as well!

But I have to say something about this ridiculous breakfast/lunch system. We sat down at 10:22 this morning. Our server tells us we have 8 minutes to order breakfast because at 10:30 they stop serving breakfast. Okay, no problem. So naturally I say, "Alright, we'll just order lunch." Nope. Apparently she can't put in a lunch order until 11:00. So from 10:30 to 11:00, we're just supposed to sit there and stare at each other. Seriously, what is this system? I'm sitting in a restaurant at 10:30 in the morning, hungry, surrounded by food, and apparently there is a 30-minute period where I am not legally allowed to order anything. It's 2026. We have AI, self-driving cars, phones that can translate languages in real time, and refrigerators that can tell us when we're out of milk. But Town Square Social apparently has a computer system that says: 10:29: "Would you like breakfast?" 10:30: "Absolutely not." 10:31: "Can I order lunch?" 10:31: "Don't get crazy." 11:00: "Okay, now you may eat." Again, I LOVE this place. The food is fantastic. This isn't a knock on the staff or the restaurant itself. But somebody needs to fix this stupid system. If I sit down at 10:22 and decide at 10:42 that I want lunch, I feel like we should have evolved enough as a society to make that happen. Until then, I guess I'll just stare at my wife for 30 minutes and contemplate my life choices. Great food. Great place. Absolutely ridiculous system.

Lo and behold, I was craving a sandwich one day and looked up their menu. It had pretty solid options and reminded me of a Panera. That's exactly what McAlister's is except it's not bougie with the price to match. McAlister's reminds me of a Marie Calendar's but in deli form. I ordered two different sandwiches (McAlister's Club and King Club), a baked potato, potato salad, and nachos via mobile app for pickup. It was ready when I got there so the app time was pretty spot on. The sandwiches were DELICIOUS. The only thing I honestly wouldn't get again were the nachos, they were okay. The cheese sauce was amazing but the nachos themselves were pretty plain. The baked potato side was huge and well worth the upgrade. Of course I'll be back, I'm already wondering when I get to visit again!

Place is clean and the price of a sandwich and drink about the same as anywhere else. They have tables outside and the weather was acceptable to enjoy the light and fresh air. The inside has plenty of seating and appears clean and maintained. The issue these days with any deli meat is the preservatives and ingredients, guaranteed not organic or healthy unfortunately every food establishment these days is selling unhealthy food so it's best to eat at home unless you are forced to because of travel or pure convenience e.g. the stove is broken or the fridge is empty.

Our bartender, Tarah, was fantastic--super sweet, attentive, and made us feel right at home. She even brought out tartar sauce, ketchup, ranch, and their house sauce (which was fire). Major points for service! We ordered a few rounds of drinks and some food, and everything hit the spot. My husband's coworker and I got the po' boy slider baskets with tater tots, and my husband had the hot ham and cheese with fries. Not only was everything delicious, but both of us agreed--those po' boys were the best we've had outside of Louisiana! The vibe inside was laid-back with a definite sports bar feel, pool tables, and the other patrons were chill. We'll definitely be back!

It was lunchtime so off O went. So yes it's a bar. Yes it smells of cigarettes. But the food was amazing. This chicken wrap isn't listed on their menu, but they'll make it for you! Comes with tots, fries, or chips. Every soul in this place was super nice. They will chat with you. I may have to come back and hang out. They have pool tables, cold beer, a bar with specialty drinks, video games, and other activities. The place is huge too. The food portions are big. You probably won't be able to eat all of your meal here.
