Dr. Harmon took good care of me. She prescribed some medication for the pain (which hasn't been too bad). One medication the pharmacist refused to fill, due to some regulatory issues. I called Westside Endodontics and Dr. Harmon really went the extra mile to get my issue resolved. I was able to get the medication filled the next day. Very good customer service! He led me to believe that I…read morehad 6 cavities, when in reality I only have previous fillings that need repair due to my dry mouth. He did not explain why I needed so much work, even when questioned he offered nothing. His 1st words to me were somewhat of an insult in indicating that I had had a lot of work done like I had not been to a dentist and taking care of my teeth over the past 6 decades, when in fact I have been going to a dentist at least twice a year for at least the last 25 years. It is not just him however, the wording in the initial paperwork is rather terse in that it threatens to discharge you if you fail to give your entire medical history. I dental assistant had great difficulty placing the device to take x-rays and had to keep repositioning it just to get a single x-ray. When you take the whole mouth, that is way more than one should actually have to have. She also kept blaming the equipment. The hygenist never introduced herself to me. While she was describing each tooth with a number to the dental assistant who was recording it seemed like they were just talking to each other in their lab at school rather than just treat me like a human being. If you want to have an interactive relationship with your dentist this is not the one to see.

After reading my three-star review, Dr. Ardalan reached out to me in a sincere desire to address my concerns and to improve his services. Since then, we have exchanged several e- mails. Most impressively, Dr. Ardalan has made changes to his practice based on those aspects of my treatment that were less than ideal -- the Wave treatment, his dental assistant, and my extended and painful recovery. As examples, my Wave assistant is no longer working at his office, and he plans to create unique follow up instructions for patients with severe abscesses, like mine, given the possibility of significant pain and longer recovery time. As with the previous review, I was very happy with Dr. Ardalan's treatment before and during the root canal procedure. He was professional, skilled, kind, and let me know what he was doing before and during the root canal. His office was very attractive and his front office staff was friendly, helpful and efficient. I sincerely appreciated Dr. Ardalan's willing ness to squeeze me in on a holiday week and his responsiveness to my calls to his emergency phone line.
