She NEVER SAID that PAN OPTIC IS NOT FOR ME. 8-24-21 I had cataract surgery on my right eye. 8-25-21 Went for a checkup. Dr Tait was examining my eye and something hit my eye and I turned my head away. 9-1-21 Checkup - My eye doesn't better and I was told it will take 3-5 weeks to heal. 9-8-21 Checkup - No improvement. I asked Dr Tait if he thought it was because when something hit my eye. He said no. 9-15-21 no improvement. 9-22-21 Dr Tait said your eye is healed. I had some questions. We would talk about them next time. 10-13-21 Dr Tait said IT IS ALL IN YOUR HEAD I went several eye Dr and I have a macular wrinkle and there is nothing can be done about that. Went to the eye center on 9/16/25. After the office visit and for anyone new, please do not provide any issues unless absolutely necessary, cause they run with it. Had my exam, the dilation lasted about 6 hours after my visit, I had dr Connolly - he was exceptional in diagnosing my cataracts which to me are not that severe yet. However --- for everyone who has a cataract, their strong recommendation is for surgery and doing it as soon as possible. After our exam and prescriptions were provided, they sent us over to an area to schedule our surgery, unknown to us. We were just looking for information about it. First of all, I have been to 2 other doctor offices for my eyes, none pushed surgery, but this place does, there were people ahead of us and after us. The woman who schedules the surgery was very pushy and that to me is unacceptable. So while the staff was very friendly (with the exception of the woman who schedules the surgery) and the exam was exceptional, I had to lower my rating from a 4 star to a 3 since the surgery part was pushed. We are not getting any surgery at this time.

Ok first of all I'm soooo surprised they don't have a more active yelp profile. I have had glasses…read moresince I was 12 and contacts since I was 14 and I recently went here for an eye exam and this is BY FAR the best eye doctor I have EVER been to. It's hard to find a good eye doctor when you have an astigmatism and other eye issues, at least in my experience but this place was fantastic. They can get you in quickly. Everyone is so nice, it's clean and I have not seen this well out of a prescription in years!!!!!! If you need an eye dr this is the place to go!!!

I would think twice before going to Kensington Ophthalmology. Went in for a routine eye exam and…read morethey changed it to a medical exam without my knowledge. Thus the vision insurance would not pay for it. They took it upon themselves to pull an old medical insurance card that they had on file for me from many years ago. Ended up having to pay everything out of pocket. They also charged me additional money to get a written eye prescription. The lady who does the billing is extremely rude. I had a very hard time getting her to send me an actual bill. She just kept calling and harassing me at work. It's been over four months. I had to finally make a trip up there and just pay the money. I will NEVER go back here again.

If you have serious eye issues, this is your place…read more I recently had an eye emergency and had to be seen by a retina specialist stat for an emergent procedure. I was seen quickly and was greeted by a professional, friendly, and calming staff. I hate eye anything as I'm super sensitive, but I will gladly return here. The retina specialist gave me a thorough exam, laid out all my options, and the risks vs. benefits of each. They managed to inform without scaring the crap out of me and allowed me to make my own informed decision. Once I ripped the bandaid off and pulled up my big girl panties, they completed an inpatient procedure within minutes. No fuss, no wait, no chance to wuss out. Trust me, that is a good thing. They literally saved my sight, allowing me to continue to work and be a productive person. No joke. I'm not done on my journey, but they are walking me through it, and I have faith in them. I trust their advice and care and hope to be working with them for a long time.
