I was very apprehensive about having it done and waited about 4 years after Dr. Clark recommended it. I didn't think it was a necessary surgery, but I was totally wrong. My peripheral vision was compromised because of droopy eyelids. I am amazed how much I was missing, especially while driving. An added bonus, is I look a little younger. Dr. Clark is very busy, but will take time to answer your questions, but you have to ask. He explains everything very matter of fact and to the point, and will thoroughly explain the procedures. I trust him with my eyes as does my husband, and many friends and as did my mother and father-in-law. Get an early morning appointment, otherwise you may be waiting an hour.

I asked Dr Tait if he thought it was because when something hit my eye. He said no. 9-15-21 no improvement. 9-22-21 Dr Tait said your eye is healed. I had some questions. We would talk about them next time. 10-13-21 Dr Tait said IT IS ALL IN YOUR HEAD I went several eye Dr and I have a macular wrinkle and there is nothing can be done about that. I would not refer my worst enemy to Specialty Eye Institute…read more To begin, Dr. Sinsoli himself, as an opthamologist, is fine. He is simply confined as a surgeon in a multi location, huge corporate practice whose only interest is "MONEY", notcwuality oatirnt care. I started in Ann Arbor at that location for treatment of eye cataracts, but was never told until after a couple of appointments that my surgery was not in Ann Arbor Michigan, but in Jackson, 90 minute drive from my house. The first day of surgery, I was told the surgical center in Jackson had 42 cataract surgeries that day, I felt like a hunk of meat on a conveyor belt. Took 3.5 hours for my surgery to be completed. The staff put 8 drops in my eye, 5 times waiting and waiting and waiting for surgery. The moment I came out of anesthesia they had me sit up, put my legs over the bed and get into a wheel chair. The staff was wheeling me out to my car 5 minutes after I woke up, with a drink in my hands. They needed the bed for the rest of the meat on the conveyor belt. Second eye was done 5 weeks later, sad that I had to wait that long for second cataract surgery. Three days after surgery, my recently repaired eye and eye lid got infected, warm and swollen. I sent a note over the patient portal and the office called me to tell me to seek treatment with my optometrist, who would handle any issues from there on out. Dr. Sinsoli would not see me. I treated with my optometrist for 2 weeks before they finally gave up, with little improvement of my infection and sent me to a totally different opthamologist for treatment. He treated me with a steroid injection into my infected eyelid which helped somewhat along with oral antibiotics, steroid drops, warm compresses and antibiotic ointments. Two months later, the infection which never totally went away came back, a call to Dr. Sinsoli's office proved useless, they could not see me for two months. I was told to seek treatment elsewhere and bring my treatment notes to my visit, 2 months away. Back to a different opthamologist who treated me again. Finally, after 2 months, saw Dr. Sinsoli who apologized profusely and gave ne a second steroid injection into my affected eyelid. Again, Specialty Eye Instiute is all about Money, not patient care. Five months (post surgery), my eye is getting back to normal. Do not, and I mean Do not seek treatment from Specialty Eye Institute. Find an office that is caring and puts your health and well being paramont over Money. Not one of my maby, maby friends, who had cataract surgery ever had to live through my nightmare.
