I have had a million bad cuts, and finally just started cutting and coloring it myself - which did not look good. I walked into the 3rd Floor Salon on a whim, because the sign said, "Walk-ins Welcome" and I was desperate for a good cut and color for an important event. I am *so* glad I took the chance on Jessie! My curls are back and the color is gorgeous! Jessie is a natural. She understands hair and color. She spent a lot of time looking at my hair to determine how my curls fall, checking the color top and bottom, quizzing me on my preferences and how my hair behaves, etc. She mixed up the most gorgeous color that looks natural, shiny, and is exactly the right shade. She made the cut look easy, and quickly restored my curls. I left my appointment with Jessie feeling like a million dollars, and completely confident. The Salon is great too. My first impression of it was comfortable. The atmosphere is wonderful - welcoming, cosy, and clean - nothing pretentious or stark. I tried calling and leaving a message but no response till the morning of the appointment when I called and explained the situation but was met with a really rude person saying I will still changed 50% of the charges for late cancellation. I am not sure how this business runs with basically no leeway to paying customers who have unique situations like this. First and last experience here.

And, I see the Chehalis salon will schedule online, which is an advantage.
