Rick absolutely knocked this one out of the park. I reached out to Rick asking for him to install an in-ceiling home theater system in my living room, and mount my new TV as part of our home remodel. He came out and went over everything with me, and while I already had an idea of what I wanted, he gave me some great suggestions - and I decided to deviate from what I originally wanted, and lean into his expertise. I was worried that trying to line the schedule up was going to be an issue, because there was stuff I needed Rick, and my contractor to work together on to time everything out right, but Rick worked with my contractor to make it as smooth as possible. Once Rick got to work, I was a bit concerned about all of the holes in my walls, and ceiling - but Rick told me not to worry because he had a great drywall repair guy, and he wasn't kidding. The drywall repairs were so fast, and so clean that my contractor was in awe, honestly - at the end I couldn't even tell any work had been done, and that's exactly how it should be. I asked him to schedule some time a few days out to do the work - he was super accommodating to my scheduling constraints. Rick reached out to let me know exactly when his crew was en route. His team, RJ and Xavier, arrived exactly at the time promised. They introduced themselves and asked for a walk through of my project. In one of the rooms where I was indifferent to the placement of the data lines and suggested an area that would make the job easier, RJ politely insisted it wasn't about what would make it easier on them - they were happy to place the panel wherever I wanted it and would be happy with the work. AWESOME! RJ and Xavier got to work promptly and kept me updated on their progress. They found creative solutions to accomplish exactly what I wanted and were happy to do work other contractors wouldn't touch, such as adding data lines to external walls which meant going through concrete foundations. As far as the instillation, extremely clean lines and well hidden cords for my exterior camera install. They stayed until I was satisfied with the angles of the cameras and help set up the NVR system. Definitely would use MTS again and their pricing was not bad at all. These guys came over to my house on a home theater upgrade. Essentially it was gutting the job from an old 1080 projector and receiver and upgrading it to 4k. Also upgraded the HDMI to the latest and greatest. So they installed the new projector and that's the only thing that went ok. The rest was not finished. They told me there was an issue with my components as the screen intermittently blacked out every 30 seconds or so. They had been working for a couple hours but never really trouble shooter anything on this I took their word for it even though they didn't finish the job. Paid them the agreed upon fee because I figured it wasn't their fault that my equipment was faulty..... They said they would return once my equipment was replaced. Then I go online and all the other techs are saying they are almost positive it's a simple issue with my HDMI cable and that this company should have trouble shooted on the spot to correct it. They said when you are running 4k, some HDMI cables just don't cut it so you have to test them sometimes to make sure they are good. I was flabbergasted. How could these guys not know this??? No harm, no foul. I'm easy so I called the guy to get them back out there to correct it. He's all of a sudden slow to respond and not eager to get back out to fix the issue. I tried calling him 3x and each time he tells me that he's going to get back to me to get me on the schedule. He never does. After I felt bad and paid this guy for not taking care of business this is how he repays me. Ridiculous. So I figured why should I keep trying him when he couldn't even figure out a simple HDMI issue. He would probably come out and get confused on something else super easy again. So I went with another company that came out and finished it without any issues. The new company was also shocked that Main couldn't trouble shoot a simple HDMI issue. Lesson learned. Don't pay these guys anything until they complete your job because they will take the money and run. I actually gave this guy almost a month to get back to me because if he had, I wouldn't have written this review. I would have given him a pass. But yea, the lack of knowledge on home theater and then the lack of follow through definitely earns him a low score. read more
