They continue to expand, to offer local Maine products, both food and textiles - it's a great place to go for buying gifts for people. Some of my favorites are shown in the pictures - I love anything maple and their maple malt balls are my absolute favorite! I love their chocolate covered products, pretzels, cherries, peanuts, raisins and blueberries and so much more. They sell Sweet Monkey Business shortbread cookies on occassion - they are the best in Maine for packaged cookies. The owner is very kind as well. This year (2025) my favorite purchase was the Candy Cottage kit! So cute and creative and it smells so much better than gingerbread. I loved it. Great for gift giving as well. Parking is great and there is an car charging spot as well if you are lucky enough to snag the spot. Not a super charger, but it's something. I hope to be able to participate in a special event sometime. They offer tours, and candy making events, like make your own candy cane. With that said, I highly recommend. One of the most fascinating things for the guys from work (I work with people who have disabilities) is when she passes around the giant cacao pod! This is where chocolate comes from at its origin. So cool! They then lead us down the factory hallway where we can see the chocolatiers doing the Lords work. Fascinating and delicious. It always smells delicious here :)

First off- pro tip- Always get their signature Scotch Kisses! Get more than one and thank me later. Scotch Kisses are their homemade caramel wrapped around a soft marshmallow. Holy moly. The best!! I bought one and will now dream of this candy confection for months to come. I need to check if they ship these! Wilbur's wide variety of candy is housed on their second floor. Head upstairs. They had just started decorating for Halloween and you could not pick a better spot to find in the month of October. Candy + Halloween = Perfection. I stocked up on some Halloween themed candy and even found some Pumpkin Pie Jelly Bellies there! Woah, First time trying them and yum. I found my classic rock candy there too. I am more of a sugar candy fan than chocolate guy, so the upstairs was like a dream come true. I even found a pack of Fruit Stripes gum! Classic.
