Very cool spot I randomly found on my way to dinner. Ice cream was delicious and Pammy and her sister were very friendly and welcoming. The place is so nicely put together, pink beemer in the back, pink chairs and benches, pink/red flowers.... with plenty of seats and easy parking in the driveway. PSA: It's completely outdoors.. raining when I stopped but so glad I didn't pass it up... it was worth getting a little wet. read more

Imagine a world where you find yourself in line at a cute and colorful ice cream stand. Imagine that the ice cream is more expensive than anywhere you've seen while on vacation in the area. Next, picture that you are charged $1 for sprinkles and extra for cones. Then imagine that the ice cream sucks. Cheap tasting and nearly flavorless. For what they lack in flavor and quality they sure make up in the color pink. I'm shocked that elite reviewers are on here singing this shop's praise. Arriving here is like stepping back into the imagined "good old days" with cheerful colors all around, delightful little wrought-iron cafe tables and chairs in fantasy colors - all spaced for proper social distancing! The selections of ice cream flavors is creative and if you prefer soft-serve they even have that. Portions are very generous. They had a live, five-piece band playing when we there on a Sunday afternoon. To top it all off, the staff is friendly and cheerful - and they wear face coverings (something of a rarity in Maine...). We were surprised they were still open because it was raining. The ice cream was delicious especially the Salted Carmel. We tried the Smore's that was good to but Salted carmel won out. The ladies who run the place were super sweet and the portions were perfect. Definitely coming back the next time we are in town. read more

Terrible service. There was a sign saying "Open till 9". The lights were on, and there were two employees behind the counter, talking to eachother. It was 8:32 when my sister and I came, and we stood there infront of the counter, waiting for either employee to open the window and talk to us. Neither of them did. 2 minutes later, a third employee came, opened the window from the outside, and joined in their conversation. Eventually she gave us a rude look and asked us why we were here. I told her that we were waiting to order, and this employee- WHO WORKED AT THE FIRE, had to tell us that it was closed. Yeah, neither of the employees that actually worked at the icecream parlour had the balls to tell us that they were closing up early, and instead ignored us for 5 minutes, just so they could have a shorter shift. (This all happened today at 8:32-37, so Im hoping that you guys can make a change.) read more
