We tried Chan Thai Restaurant with our daughter. I confess I went in with pretty low expectations based on the location. It's in a humble strip mall next to a gas station. But it was nice. We were greeted and seated right away, parking was easy, and the food came out quickly. Inside is clean with cute décor that feels more inviting than you'd expect from the outside. The food was the highlight. The swimming rama with noodles and chicken was really good. The fried brussels sprouts were a standout, and the fried spring rolls and pineapple fried rice were all solid. Surprising location in Marysville but the decor was cute, the restaurant was clean, and tables were busy. Service was immediate and less than 10 minutes we had our meal on the table! Was nice to try and their Thai green tea was delicious. But I might stick with some other spots. The service was very friendly so I wish I could rate it higher. I wish the boat noodle soup had more flavor, was almost like a mild pho whereas some other spots have more pungent and fragrant broth. Presentation was nice though. The pork belly I had was nice and crispy. And although I didn't order the duck curry, it looked delicious and my friend said it was pretty filling so he was able to take some leftovers home. Overall spacious area with plenty of seating so glad I was able to try it. Great if you're in the area and need to grab lunch but I wouldn't go out of my way. read more

It's 81° in Marysville. I did not have high expectations from a Thai restaurant in Marysville. It's in a strip mall, with two entrances. There's plenty of parking. Decent sized dining room with the usual decorations for a Thai restaurant. I walked in, placed my order, paid, and was told 15 minutes. Sure enough, it was ready, I grabbed the bag and took off. An hour later (!)I finally opened it up and the food still was hot. It's authentic Thai. Warning for those who like spice, will make your nose run. This place is real, and I'll be back. read more

Stopped by for the lunch special and got the shrimp Pad Thai. It was on the saucier side, and unfortunately, the shrimp lacked flavor. That said, food came out quick and the staff was attentive. Wow best Thai food I've ever had! And I'm from California where we have the best of all foods. This place is a goldmine. The food was so delicious. Between my whole family, we ordered six dishes and EVERY dish was phenomenal. We got curry, fried rice, noodles, pad see ew, pad Thai, Thai iced tea, and tom yum. The restaurant atmosphere was also so lovely and authentic. It was so clean. They had the cleanest bathroom I've ever seen. I always dread using a restroom at a restaurant but I was shocked. Just ate here for the first time... food was absolutely delicious and had large portions. The service was really good and our waiter was so friendly! This was the best ambience I've ever seen in a Thai restaurant, awesome bar, colored lights, and every wall is decorated differently, but all comes together and is so cute! Even the bathroom was adorable! It's been a while since I've gone out to eat and been impressed and this is definitely my new favorite place! We stopped by before an event at Tulalip. We were greeted and seated right away. The menu has many vegan and vegetarian dishes to meet our needs. We had tofu Phad Thai and tofu Eggplant Basil. Wow what a little gem. I came up to shop at the outlet and was looking for good Asian food. I came across Chan Thai on yelp and gave it a try as it had good reviews. It lived up to the 5 star positive review. The restaurant is very cute, clean and with plenty of parking. Service was fantastic and best of all was the good food. I understand price of food is higher now and I really appreciate the food portions here. I'm a dad and eating out is a treat for my family, so the portion here is generous and perfect for feeding a family. The food is amazing too. Will def come again read more

I was not expecting to indulge in what is now the best Thai food I've had the pleasure of eating when my family walked into Chan Thai restaurant. The place was clean and well decorated. The service was excellent. My niece's shirley temple came with several cherries, which I found quite astute and endearing. It was a gesture that wasn't unnoticed. I very much enjoyed my experience at this restaurant. We arrived on a weekday around 7pm with a party of two. It was not very busy for dine in service, however I think they were slammed with take out orders. We were seated right away and the service was consistently great throughout the meal. We ordered apps for the table and entrees shortly after. Our food came out super quick in both regards. The appetizers were meh but the Pad Thai and the Pineapple Curry were both delicious. The woman at the desk was friendly and knowledgeable about allergens, and was thorough in double checking our orders and spice levels. We started with fresh rolls, which were lovely! Really fresh. I got the swimming rama and it was fabulous! Really good peanut sauce and the dish was gluten free. I did find a few egg shells in my dish, but overall the flavor and texture was great. Chan Thai Restaurant was on our way out of town after the baseball tournament. Located in Marysville, in a strip mall, I had high hopes. Server/host was outside smoking when we arrived- followed in behind us, I am unsure if they washed their hands. No menus upon seating, brought later. I ordered Pad Thai. Not terrible... but not great. 3 out of 5. Hubs and kiddo ordered chicken skewers, gyoza , and fried calamari. I did taste the chicken- flavored well, but it was pretty dry. Bathrooms were dirty, and they are right past the kitchen- floors are super greasy. I just wasn't wowed. Food was edible, but wasn't great leftover. The Pad Thai became super dry. read more

Second time going here and both times service was good but they only have 1 server for the whole restaurant. The food seems inconsistent....both visits we had the General Ts'os chicken. The first time the chicken was so good, but this time it was dry, the dish was unevenly sauced and most of my dish had tiny pieces of hard, breaded crumbs. We also ordered the Pad Thai (both times) which was dry and not very flavorful for Pad Thai and the Pad See Wheu. Pad See Wheu was good, but we asked for a 2 on a spicy level and it was way spicier than a 2 considering I love spice and that was not very enjoyable to eat. Chan Thai was purchased last year. The new owners have remodeled and they have a modern Thailand decorum. Their menu has a list of everyone's favorites. The Chicken Pad Thai is one of our favorites. The service is exceptional. They are constantly checking on their customers and offer great suggestions. The green bean appetizer is wonderful... They are open 7 days a week. Food was mediocre, server was nice and accommodating. I was dining with myself and my two picky kids, my daughter loves Thai food and we have been searching for our new Thai restaurant since moving into the area. We started with the chicken satay, it okay, but nothing I would order again. The chicken tasted like it was cooked in a deep fryer and the skewers were extremely oily and gritty. I felt they didn't give enough peanut sauce, as it was a tiny and we ran out after 3 skewers. Also the cucumbers on the salad were wilted and not appealing. I am use to fresh cucumbers, not what appeared to be pickled. So that might just not be my thing. My daughter loved the Chicken Pad Thai, and I enjoyed the amount of sauce that comes with these noodles. The cabbage garnish appeared to be brown and i wish it could have been fresher or omitted. I would give this another chance in the future. None of us cared for the pineapple fried rice, but they loved the white rice (not pictured). The rice was cooked perfectly. The flavor profile of the Pineapple Fried Rice wasn't what we were used to from other Thai restaurants. The ambiance is very relaxed (we were the only diners at about 4p). Food tasted old, in particular the Pad Thai tasted like it was sitting all day and the chicken was like rubber. There were no vegetables in the pad Thai. Usually there would be sprouts or something. Came upon this little gem looking for a spot for lunch while in the area. We had the Crab Rangoon as an appetizer and it was well done with nice crunchy outside and delicious filling inside. We enjoyed the beef salad (crying tiger) at a spice level of 4 and it was just the right amount for me as I do like spicy food. My wife had the the pad prik king at a level 1 spice and it was perfect for her and the green beans, bell peppers and chicken were all nicely done. Fast friendly service from our masked waitress. I was in the area and wanted to try the local Asian food. This place popped up on Yelp, and it looked good to try. I was greeted warmly with no wait to be seated. All the food looked really great on the menu. I tried one of the higher-end dish Crispy Garlic Chick hoping for the best. The one thing I do remember is the sauce was beyond salty. I asked the server is this was how it was supposed to taste. She acknowledged that the flavor and saltiness were normal. As you can see in the photo, they do a great job of plating. They need to taste their sauce when a customer questions the flavor. I've made enough of this food to understand that balance is key to these dishes. I was able to finish the dish but had to drink a lot of water to get past all the salt. Even with all the recommendations, I am unable to say I have the same taste. read more
