This was a family and pet friendly event. They had activities for children as in crafts. I saw a few bounce houses and games for them. On the other side they had a good band playing oldies. People were dancing to their songs. They sounded pretty good. The parking situation was organized well. The city had a few places you could catch a free trolley. The festival was held right next to a parking garage. It did crazy for the people to exit that garage after the festival. I was glad I took the trolley. I had a great time with my friends. The festival was great.

Heavy downpour of rain but we have plenty of high grade brew including bites from PDQ, Auntie Annes and Anthonys Clam House & Grill. Offering over 30 different breweries and serving their craft beer creations under tents. Our VIP pass got us access to a private tent with comfortable couches, music and a private super chill bartender named JP. Free parking in the City of Dania parking garage or across the street. The portable bathroom situation is a concern especially after beer. Normal ticket pricing is $35.00 each.

The event is held over a weekend on both Saturday and Sunday from 10 to 4. This was my first year attending and I was impressed by how large the festival was. Over 150 vendors from all over Florida and the country lined two full streets selling art, garden decorations, home decor, pet items, beauty items, and food. I definitely saw some cool things I've never seen before. I ended up by buying a bromeliad with orchids to hang on my front porch, a wooden Great Blue Heron and egret for my garden, glass earrings and a heart necklace, and a plumeria plant that is just a stick right now but hopefully in 6 months it will be blooming with beautiful flowers. I also found some pretty ornaments for Christmas presents. I could have spent a lot more money if I had it. The vendors were many and varied. I can see why this festival has lasted so long. There are also a ton of restaurants to eat at and places to shop within walking distance of the festival. I couldn't leave the area without popping into Proper Ice Cream for my favorite honeycomb flavor. The weather was delightful for a divine day of shopping. It was a perfect Sunday afternoon.

I can't believe it took me to long to check out the Miami Flea!…read more I stopped by last weekend for their holiday bazaar and was in love with all the vendors! From jewelry to crystals to succulents and art, there was something for everyone at the Miami Flea. They also had live music which was super festive and a bar with cocktails. The cocktails were from Mac's pub and super refreshing and tropical. Some of my favorite vendors included Martha of Miami with her Miami AF merchandise, Wagboss and La Succulenta. I left with inspirational jewelry from lucky bee, and a full heart from all the Local love that was going on that day. Aside from the shopping they also have a section for food. I didn't try, but the options were varied and looked delish. Parking can be tricky. There's a few cash lots around but I got lucky with street parking near by. The Miami Flea is a fun spot to support local! Shout out to all the small biz owners following their dreams and making Miami a truly unique place :)

The event was advertised as having 100 vendors. I don't think there were quite that many but they had a lot. Admission and parking were free. The tents filled the rodeo arena and outside it as well. People were selling plants, floral arrangements, zombie soup mix, jewelry, lights in alcohol bottles, soap, dream catchers, a tiny fairy garden, woodwork, stained glass, baked goods, clothes, bags, and a myriad of other hand made goods. They also had food and drink vendors and bounce houses and kids corner activities for children . The grounds were perfect for the craft show. There were plenty of clean bathrooms. The weather was gorgeous, the vendors were varied, and with the upcoming holidays it was the perfect time to shop. It is good to support the local arts community. This is a nice hometown event perfect for kids and adults.

The entrance begins at E Atlantic Avenue and NE 4th Ave. and proceeds north for two full blocks. The art is set up in tents on the closed off street. You can get free parking at the I-Pic garage and walk the block over. The event attracted over 100 exhibitors showcasing hand created art works which included glass, photography, paint, mixed media, jewelry, metal, wood, and textiles. My favorite art in the festival were the colorful dog paintings, the pictures made out of colored pencils, anything with mermaid s and flamingos, and the whimsical mailboxes. The weather was gorgeous and I always love visiting Delray Beach. There are a ton of great places to eat and drink steps away from the fair on Atlantic Avenue. If you missed this art fair, there will be another one held on January 15th at SE 5th St over the Intracoastal and extending on to A1A. Nothing beats enjoying beautiful weather at art fairs in January in Florida.
