Unfortunately we did not have a good experience. I really wanted to have beautiful lawn but it was destroyed by maj lawncare and their mowing. The mowers hacked into the lawn leaving uneven spaces, dead roots, holes in the lawn. Lawn didn't recover. The mowers kept cutting my lawn despite my concerns. I am so afraid they would destroy more of it. Our lawn is a pitiful mess and heart breaking. I recommend making sure you know who is mowing the lawn--is it someone who cares and knows about grass or just someone hired. read more

I will update these photos for higher quality ones when spring comes around, but I really wanted to say that Mason and everyone at Maj Lawncare are not just WONDERFUL at keeping our home looking great all year long - but they were able to take on a HUGE project and COMPLETELY TRANSFORMED our outdated landscaping to something just beautiful. We were planning on having the house trim repainted in conjunction with pulling out almost all of the plants and putting in entirely new landscaping, so it was tricky having the painters and landscapers work around each other and work out the best times for each to do their part - but Mason made it HAPPEN! If you see the original photos of our house, it had plants literally from the 1950's that were kind of swallowing up the house. The three bushes in front of the house were so overgrown that they extended out halfway across the sidewalk, and the plants on the side of the house were just wild and blocking all of the windows. Mason worked with me TOGETHER on every single step - from choosing plants and trees that I liked, to placement, and even leaving one of the old trees at the back of the house for my husband, because there was an entire ecosystem of birds and squirrels who relied on it, and he loves seeing them out of his office window every day. Mason was SO WONDERFUL to work with! It was a huge, daunting task, but he was there every single step of the way. And now he makes sure that his team keeps everything looking great every week. We hired Maj for a few landscaping projects and they did an amazing job! They removed the grass from our backyard and created a crushed stone and flagstone patio. Maj Lawncare to the rescue! This crew turned our landscaping from an eyesore to a thing of beauty. Our building had hired a different vendor to remove our sparse grass, build boxing, do brickwork, add soil and plant. It took those who shall not be named about three weeks to remove the grass and start boxing in the area so that soil could be added above the sidewalk level. The brick was not the brick we specified (and they bid), the boxes were badly done, and they brought in demolition dirt (seriously, broken bricks and pipes were visible) for planting. Then nothing. Enter Taylor, Mason, and their crew. They efficiently removed the bad work, bad dirt, wrong bricks and got to work. If our instructions were unclear or an issue arose, they communicated it. I very much agree with the first review. I was so happy to find Maj Lawncare thru our neighborhood website, and from seeing their truck in the neigh. Taylor and Mason REALLY came thru for us with their young and hard working team - they weeded our whole badly needed front yard, patio and around the alley. They also planted beautiful ornamental grass on the side of our house, and planted gorgeous plants in our four planter boxes in our patio. We have been lax for a few years, and they have made everything beautiful and blooming! Now it is up to us to keep it up!
