He was able to explain the various product specifications and logistical plan, and always called me back to address my questions. I was given a quote that included a range of LVP pricing options that met my needs. Sean & the flooring installation crew even coordinated & assisted with the challenge of wrapping and moving my furniture around throughout the project-- jigsaw puzzle style to accommodate the limited working space, which was a huge relief! During demolition, some unforeseen findings from the original flooring caused a slight delay in the originally discussed timeline, but Sean was very responsive to my concerns. I appreciated the team's transparency, and the immense care the crew took to minimize any disturbance to the workspace, my belongings & neighbors. They cleaned up so well after each work day. He gave me what I considered to be a fair price per square foot (based on my research of average pricing for wood floor refinishing) over the phone and was able to meet me that same day to get exact measurements. He was very accommodating to my schedule understanding that I wasn't currently living in the apartment and needed some extra travel time. The meeting was efficient and painless. He asked all the right questions and did not waste my time. He took down my email address and told me that he would email me the estimate. I needed this job to be done asap and he assured me that he could start the work on Monday and be done in 2 days. Sure enough later that evening he sent me the estimate via email. The ONLY reason why I went with another service provider is because I happened to get a referral from a very close friend the next day otherwise I would of DEFINITELY gone with NY Floorman. Richard was the only person to send me estimated costs in advance, provide me with images to consider finishes before hand. He was on time to the initial site meeting to take measurements and provide a detailed estimate. He was approachable, replied to emails quickly and gave me a sense of confidence that won him the job. I eliminated one company for missing the initial meeting (he called to say he'd be 2 hours late - this is unacceptable to me). I had them remove a partial wall, patch what was left over, and sand and refinish the floors. The guys on the site were great, punctual and reliable. They provided on site samples of the finishes for me to make a selection. (I would ask for this in advance if you want to see multiple colors/tones). The job took 4 days from start to finish, and was completed on time, as promised. Richard's price was competitive and the work was well done. They were respectful and listened to my concerns, described the work in detail and let me know what they would work on each day. I feel confident in recommending them to anyone. I will consult them again when I am ready to do more work. They are great.

I wanted to rip out the 60 Year old floor in my kitchen and have the floor match the existing hardwood floors in the living room and dining room since all the rooms are now open and flow into one another.
