On 5/30 I spent 175.00 on total for a pedi and mani for my daughter. She did French tip and gel polish (they recommended so they last longer). Took her back 5/31 bc two nails chipped badly in less than 24 hours. We left for family vacation 6/1and got home 6/5. They chipped and looked terrible for vacation. Used to go here regularly, but recent new owners seem stuffy and don't appear to respect and appreciate the employees that were there when they took over. Just observation after several visits under new owners. Like the newer white paint... looks cleaner, but the Atmosphere has changed. Tracy, receptionist is great, but otherwise the new owners are not as friendly as prior. Same pedicure/manicure/waxing options and prices. Quality of Services varies depending on employee. We had four reservations for pedicure for 2pm. Hubby and friend sat down. Friend and I sat down. My pedicure guy came to get started pretty quick and he was AWESOME. Great conversation, meticulous about the pedicure. Was very careful and did a fantastic job. His name is Bruce. Highly recommend! Friend's hubby was going instantly. My hubby and my friend sat there for over 30 min. Front desk girl came over and found out that my friend was getting a bit irritated about the service. My friend was ready to cancel her pedicure because this was the second time she was treated that way. Front desk girl got the guy to get started on my friend's pedicure REAL QUICK! Then front desk girl started my manicure. We now know why front desk girl IS the front desk girl. Including pics of the debris from picking the left over crap from underneath my nails. There is also cleanup i have to do on the sides of a few of my nails. At arm's length, they're not too bad, but i really SHOULDN'T have gotten the manicure. I will not go back. I'm also pretty sure my friend is also going to find a different nail place. Her hubby likes Jessica because she does his pedicure just like he likes it and is meticulous to accommodate his being diabetic. I asked for nexgen & they started doing acrylics(which i hate) so i asked for them to be nexgen, to which she replied "this is better and your nails will be stronger" normally, my nails last 4 weeks at other salons & NEVER BREAK. it's been exactly 9 days and two nails have broken off- they are my REAL NAILS. I made an appointment a week in advance with Tracy for a friend that was in from out of town and myself for 10:00. We arrived a few minutes early and I was told Tracy went to the bank and would be back shortly. My friend had someone doing her nails and pedicure while I sat waiting for Tracy. At 10:45 another nail tech sat down, put my feet in the water and then asked if I would mind waiting for her so she could go in the back and have breakfast, I couldn't believe it!! At that point I was done, dried off my feet and sat waiting for my friend. Lori who was giving my friend her pedicure said she would do mine, at that point I felt that it should be no charge other than a tip, when she called the manager over I was told the best they could do is 20% off! I said no thank you but Lori said she would do it no charge under the circumstances. With all the nail salons on 380 you would think they would want to keep their customers happy, what a terrible experience I had and I am a returning customer. Update, My wife is using solar or acrylic nails pink and white with a JoAnne. Apparently, one of the appointments she set previously got her pinky finger bleeding badly so her nails didn't get quite the service she expected. My wife came home in pain. Jackson accommodated us with a 10% discount from the $50+ worth of service plus tip. Jackson advised that the next visit, we can ask him to make an appointment as he will personally accommodate my wife with a different person to assist her with her nails. She then had another scheduled appointment about a week ago which she called in for an appointment but made sure to ask Jasmin the receptionist, to make sure to find her another person to service her nails. Apparently, Jackson wasn't around, so my wife relayed the message asking for a better service personnel. Jasmin then put me in waiting even if she arrived 4:30pm and Tracy placed her to Joanne again without Jasmin telling her that my wife requested for another person. I would say this time, I won't recommend this place anymore as we have been coming here for 3 months to see if it's worth coming back. read more

Thank you Jen for helping me today! The receptionist is also very friendly when you first walk-in which was great. She helped me choose some colors that I wanted and is very personable. The space is clean and the whole staff greeted me on the way out which makes it much better in comparison to others that are quiet or very unfriendly. I asked Jen to give me a really sharp narrow square shape and she definitely delivered! She was quick as well and left me leaving the salon clean with no sticky base anywhere on my fingers which has happened in the past. I got just a regular dip and it was only $45. Alright. The only reason why I'm giving 3 stars is because the lady who works the front desk, Tracy and the girl who did my pedicure, Dee were both super sweet. They both deserve 5 stars for their customer service. I went in at 6 on a Monday evening and they got me in right away. Pedicure was great and Jessica did my manicure. I asked for an ombré on my nails and showed a picture. Jessica told me that she was happy to do ombré because it's more money for her but most customers don't ask for it since it's more expensive. I wasn't aware it was that much more. She was polite and after she had finished, I paid and got out of there since I was one of the last customers. My nails were terrible. I called the next morning and spoke to sweet Tracy and let her know I wasn't too happy and she told me to come back and Jessica would take care of it. She said come anytime. I said I'd be there after 5. I walk in at 5:45 and Jessica is fuming. She tells me to pick a color and sits down and asks me why I'm late. She said "You said you'll be here at 5. I waited and waited and I lose money". I told her that I didn't request to have her fix them and I'd be happy with someone else. She told me that because I wasn't happy with her work, she had to fix it. She said "I told you ombré was more expensive!" I explained that I didn't have a problem with the cost, it did not look good. She asked me if I was from California (no idea what that meant) She said she had a customer complain who was from California lol. I'm from Texas, I said. Tracy came over and they began arguing in another language in front of me as people are staring. I started tearing up from embarrassment and Tracy tells me not to cry, it's not my fault. When she walked away, Jessica said she was mad because "Who's going to pay me back?!" I really wanted to leave. I had a wedding to attend later that week and just wanted my nails to look nice. After she had finished (cuts all over my fingers) she walked away and left me there with dust all over my hands and no other words spoken. Tracy came and finished things up. Tracy was very apologetic for the experience and did give me a 15% discount on my next service but I will never go back. What a truly terrible experience with an angry and unprofessional woman. She was very nice and a very experienced nail tech. She did my nails with dipping powder in a way that I haven't had done before. They looked amazing. I did a gel pedicure. I was nervous about my ingrown toe nail and a bunion on one of my feet. She took extra care to alleviate my concerns. I loved the way my finger and toe nails turned out. The staff at Majestic were great as well, from the very kind girl, Jaden, who made my appointment to the manager, Ben, who was very friendly. The only good thing I can say is it was clean. I went in for a full set with a picture that I asked if they could do prior to the start and the guy said no problem. The first red flag was that he started dipping my nails is the WRONG color. When I pointed it out he was apologetic but then I had to change to a different look with that color as the base. Fine, I was not upset by that but again after explaining what I wanted and showing a pic of the very simple heart design he assured me he could do it. Every time I asked about something that did not look right he would keep saying "I got you" which was not comforting. I was charged an extra $10 for a "manicure" that consist of two cuticle clips and some lotion, with no massage, wax or hot towel. I have left over acid all over my hands from the soak off. The dip is stuck to my skin and the power is so thick ontop of my natural nail they feel heavy, i already want to take them off. Awful. Insisted on getting an eyebrow wax, when mine are tattood.
