Despite what is clearly stated in the service agreement, I never received a refund for the services that were never performed but paid for! Worse, he became non-responsive, to my inquiries. This is not just poor customer service--this is completely unethical business practice. Save yourself the frustration and choose a company that values professionalism, integrity, and honoring written agreements. Despite a revolving door or techs (one special tech was caught on security camera calling our equipment stupid and walking away) we had minor issues with their service. Minor until we started getting brown spots in the pool and my service tech told me I needed a bypass because the constant flow was causing copper spots. Tech said "definitely would be a good decision". Aqua Pools charged me $450 to install it. That didn't fix the issue. Still had spots and Aqua Pool said they can't do anything about it. Next, then the heater would not turn on/off with the control box. Aqua pool tech told me my heater was bad and he recommended it to be fixed for another $450 or so. The heater warranty crew (different company) then came out and said 1. The bypass being engaged will damage the heater and 2. The system had been put in a different mode - causing the on/off issue. Each warranty visit cost me $125. SIMILAR TO OTHER CUSTOMERS and REVIEWS ON HERE- CHECK THEM OUT. I called Aqua pool management (Vickie) and expressed my displeasure and lack of confidence in my service. I asked if they could credit me for the last $125 and try to stop this from continuing to repeat itself. She said she would get back to me. Then one week the tech is a no-show and said to contact management. When I called to see what was going on, she was short and rude, talked over me, and told me they were cancelling my service. She reminded me that I was displeased with what had happened and the solution was to part ways. She said she sent emails - three times - I guess not professional enough to call or take care of the customers or capable to work through conflict. They want to blame the customer. Same as other reviews. Should have seen the red flags. DO NOT RECOMMEND - cost me more money in the long run.

The problem I keep finding myself in is that because I am not there, the crew doesn't show regularly and does as little as they can. As you can imagine, it does not take long for a large heavily wooded waterfront property to deteriorate. When that happens, I find myself having to spend a thousand or more dollars to get the yard and beach back in order. Danny promised the World and charged accordingly. He overcharged me to get the yard in order and then his crew were in and out in less than 20 minutes when they showed per the neighbors security camera. Again, I found myself in the same old spot in spite of Danny's promises. He is a poor representative for the company. Promises you the World and delivers half at best. RESPONSE TO THE OWNER: Thank you for taking the time to respond. I stand by my review. I gave Danny the list of what I needed covered on the property. He told me it was straight forward and what was included and what was extra at the time of the contract. Over and over, I went to the property and what we agreed to was not being done that was on the no extra charge side. This watering issue is nothing new. Danny kept telling me someone was messing with the timer. Why just the timer that is hidden away in a carport closet? Nothing else on the property has been messed with. Danny told me he would replace the plants that died due to the lack of water to those hanging plants. He told me on one occasion that he was trying to complete that promise but the quality of what was available was bad. When I asked again yesterday, he said I forgot about it. Now he wants a receipt from me which I did not keep. A little too late when I had to take care of it myself and now prove I did for reimbursement. He knows what plants they were and approximate cost. The issue with the front hanging plants was not the timer after all. It was the index valve failure that was only allowing watering of the backyard where a soaker hose was cut during the cleanup and there was a broken sprinkler. Did no one check the functions of the sprinklers on taking on the job? I would have happily paid the extra to have forgone the weeks and weeks of grief caused by this issue with the drip system. It was never offered to me until a day ago. I never requested Wally be pulled off his job. Instead I told Danny I would have my Destin landscape guy come and troubleshoot. Twice Danny fired me because I was concerned that the property was getting behind. When I asked the neighbor if he saw my crew, he checked his cameras and the time there was time stamped and it was 20 minutes. That was what I stated in my post and you confirmed in your response. Maybe they stayed longer on other visits that I did not know to follow up with the neighbor on. I just asked for that current week. So in closing, what Danny and I agreed to was not carried thru on a weekly basis. My shrubs in the front are filled with vines again. I had to have my landscape service in Destin come and troubleshoot and repair my irrigation system that Danny claimed was being sabotaged when in reality it was equipment failure. I could go on and on with holes in the service including illegally blowing leaves off my beach into the bayou, vines on the window screens etc etc etc... They may have hauled leaves away multiple times that had to go to the dump, but I asked them to just mulch them and they chose to do it their way. The yard has had mulched leaves for years and we like that rustic look instead of brown dirt. I have no idea the number of hours spent on cleanup by the crew, but I have had it done many times over the last 30 years and it never exceeded 800.00. I believe your invoice was closer to double that. Maybe you can tell me why it took the guys twice the time when it was in the same shape as multiple times before. To date, my 3 tree stumps from the removal of the trees at the clean up are still there. Months ago they were suppose to be ground out. I understand Covid has put a lot of pressure on service industries like yours. I tried to be understanding but tired of Danny pointing the finger at me. In my opinion, he is not an asset to your company.

If you like having communication with a contractor during a project forget it you will have to initiate/hound and may or may not get a response. If you ask... with what they think are too many questions... they will get annoyed and things get worse. Once you pay them the second big deposit work starts slowing down. We have had very nice days when they show up for an hour and leave and don't return for days or a week or more. If you opt for a concrete pool deck watch out for getting the Cool Crete they offer as the finish is very very rough on bare feet and inconsistent texture. Understand work defined in the contract and monitor what has been accomplished. We had $3,600 worth of work that required credit on the next payment we had to bring to their attention. With our project they didn't keep accurate records of color selections and asked us at least two times what we had chosen. If you don't want your yard to become an ashtray with cigarette butts all over tell them from the beginning. During the final hookups the autofill line was leaking because a 90 degree PVC connector was not connected properly or glued. Had to come back after 2 attempts of cleaning up plaster splatters and repaint most of the pool deck. I had to ask when salt generator was going to be connected and chemicals checked and adjusted. Also still waiting on final invoice of total cost which the Homeowner Insurance Company wants along with final inspection and survey. These are the guys... in order... I would allow to do work on my property anytime... Duo Tyler and Kevin, Sean, and Bobby.
