I've been taking our motorhome to Majestic RV for 10 years now, for routine maintenance and occasional repairs (and the dump station). Jeff, Dan and Jack have always been friendly and helpful. Their work has always been good quality at a fair price, and usually completed earlier than they originally promised. They keep you informed, and call when they say they will. Here's the latest example of their "above & beyond" customer service, that prompted me to finally write a review that I should have done a long time ago... The house batteries in our RV died when they discharged too far during storage, because the trickle-charger failed. Dan convinced the battery manufacturer to replace the batteries under warranty, even though the manufacturer could have refused since the batteries had technically been "abused". That saved me a LOT of money, and Majestic RV didn't make anything. They could have easily said that the warranty was void, and sold me new batteries. That's an indication of the reputation & relationship that Majestic RV has with their suppliers, and how much they care for their customers. read more

I needed to dump my rv in practically the only place in 15 mile radius, pulled in tto the dump site, NO SIGNS regarding the closure... then the owner proceeds to explain how his 35 year old sewer cant handle my dump, so why no signs? Im a TO local for more than 50 years, and he just flat out didn't want my business.. f the guy, i know its a piddly 20$ If its closed, put a sign on it, Then you can remove the sign when you have a desired customer with 100k motor home And they want to get serviced I understand, you cherry picking SOB ... ill make sure anyone i meet will promise to pass this place up...again!!! read more

Be very wary of Majestic here in Thousand Oaks, CA: I brought my RV in to Majestic because of a propane leak. I was charged $375 for the diagnostic work, which was estimated to cost 2 to 4 hours. I was told that the "remote bleeder valve" was causing the leak and that the valve was welded to the tank. To repair the leak, Majestic would need to remove the tank, which is suspended underneath the RV, and take it to a shop in Oxnard for repair of the weld (they would charge normal labor rates for the transport). When I got the diagnosis, I was given a ballpark estimate that the actual repair could cost more than $1,000. I paid for the diagnosis but told them I would find another repair shop. An independent diagnosis confirmed that the valve was leaking, but that is was not welded to the tank. The leak was due to worn or faulty Teflon tape in the valve's threads. This diagnosis took less than 15 minutes and the actual repair less than another 20 minutes! This was a terrible experience. I believe the manager (I won't mention his name) blatantly lied to me. He maintains that I totally misrepresented his allegations about the weld and the need to remove the tank and reneged on his offer to refund the diagnostic cost. read more

Unfortunately, I did not have a good experience. They charged me $275 to "diagnose" that my generator was inoperable. Also, they charged me $90 to diagnose that my generator exhaust pipe was "hanging down". But here is what they actually did: they LITERALLY ONLY LOOKED at the vehicle, they could clearly see that the pipe was hanging down, and they charged me $90 for that. They tried to start the generator and saw that it didn't start. That's it. Period. The technician who "worked" on my RV told me that he "DID NOT SPEND MORE THAN 1/2 HOUR LOOKING AT MY VEHICLE". (His words.) And yet I was charged $365. And nothing was fixed. They told me it will be over $1000 to repair and that it might possible be many more thousands of dollars more if either or both the wiring is bad or if the "generator computer" is bad. Well, I brought it to Niel's in Moorpark and he fixed it for $500. And Niel told me there is no such thing as a "generator computer". read more

Oh I don't normally write yelp reviews but I'll make an exception due to the amazing service I received at Majestic's not only were the repairs to the RV completed much more quickly than I expected and I was informed of the timeline throughout the entire process . Majestic's is always there when I need them I had one of the drivers that drove the RV run into something and there was minor but major damage to the door and the side! but Majestic's fixed it up like new even replace the decals we have on the truck. they even remove the toilet from one of the RVs so I can use the room for storage their service handles the RVs properly and efficiently . I highly recommend this place!! finally a good RV repair shop that even works on diesel generators! And even performed all engines services as well. I was traveling through Thousand Oaks and needed to have the water pump on my RV fixed. In this day and age when getting an appointment to have an RV repair takes three months, I was surprised, to say the least, that they said they could see me that day. I brought it in at 1:30 in the afternoon but my friend and I had to stay in the area making a phone call until approximately 2 o'clock, they had not begun working on it yet. When I picked it up at 3:30 I saw that they had charged me for 2 1/2 hours of work time, when it should've been only 1.5 hrs. I did not complain then because I was happy to have it done. But, I do think they should be a little more careful in writing up their invoices. My pump is working fine. read more

Majestic RV saved me, quite literally, when a bracket was knocked off the bottom of my Sequence and a tank was hanging 4" from the ground. I was scheduled to drive back to Phoenix but couldn't safely in this condition. I called several RV centers and mobile mechanics who told me it would be weeks/months until they could look at it. Bodywork review for my 1992 Toyota Dolphin which had been backed up into a truck and paid for by my insurance. Although it was a bit of a challenge to understand how Jeff described what it might look like when finished since he would have to have things fabricated other than replacing and blending in fiberglass, like painting and matching the decals as they were not available, or fixing the bumper because it couldn't be replaced, he left me with a feeling of trust. Although he said it would not look the same, after completion, it was better than good; it was majestic! I couldn't believe how beautiful the results were; past my expectations and totally satisfied and happy.
