I was looking for a place to take my RV on a regular basis since my old RV mechanic closed shop. They told me they are the cheapest in all of Simi. Well, I had a list of items to resolve. But the most important one was to help the RV pass a smog test that had already failed. And while I had it there, I asked how much to paint the RV since they were supposedly the cheapest. The quoted me over $40k to paint it! But if I did all the work with them, they would bring down the paint job cost. I was quoted an amount for diagnostic work. Well, they charged the diagnostic fee multiplied by the number of issues I had. So the total ended being around $2000! Yes that included an oil change. And also they did connect the house batteries (one of the requests). But the rest was all diagnostic time. Unfortunately all that $$ was ONLY to diagnose, not to fix. So nothing else was fixed!! If I actually wanted to do the repairs, that was additional $$$. I paid and left. My RV still has all the problems. Beware! I will not come back to them and don't want others to get ripped off by them. Now the employees themselves are very nice and polite and friendly. Unfortunately I still was ripped off. read more

When I asked for clarification, the service manager was completely unprofessional, refused to answer questions, and wouldn't show me the damaged part. Despite multiple follow-ups, I received no response from either the service manager or the owner. I will never go back--and I urge others to be cautious." From outrageous quotes, to empty promises about warranty work to lack of communication and failure to respond, I would not recommend anyone use this place for service on their rv or trailer. Personal property was stolen out of my trailer. They left my batteries on and all the lights on in the trailer which drained my batteries. They lied about work they completed and could complete. The website says 40 years (that was the father, who has since passed), but everywhere else says 20 years (which is the son, who couldn't tell the difference between a tight mouth and a cat's ***hole). Let's break it down: * The Techs? Great people. Hardworking, skilled, and if you can track them down outside of this shop, you might actually get your RV fixed. * The Office Staff? Amazing people and super friendly. * The Owner, Mike? A clueless guy with money who treats this place like his personal sandbox. He doesn't care about the business, the employees, or the customers. You'd think the only RV repair shop in a 25-mile radius would have its act together, but nope. There's an RV that's been sitting in the lot for 4+ years. The property? My travel trailer's batteries were dead and trying to install the new ones via You Tube video didn't work out. Simi Center was very pleasant and honest. They did a full evaluation on my trailer and made four recommendation for service beyond the battery issue. BUT it was not an upsell... they simply gave me info I needed to consider, and printed it out. They said I could come back whenever, if I wanted to, to have the other work done. I really appreciated it. The battery work was fantastic, looked neat and worked perfectly. Three months later, I'm taking my trailer back for some of the recommended work. The owner took charge and I had body work done on my 2021 forester. They did an excellent job.

They never called me to tell me what they were charging. I had called them several times to see if our rig was done. Had told them I needed by a certain date at the latest! But it got pushed to two days beyond! When we picked it up it was a mess inside. They walked in gunk and I had to have them get it off! Then after I got it home and cleaned the inside for over three hours. The next morning, I got up to wash the outside. I found several scratches and dents that they put in as well! I really don't like leaving bad reviews about small businesses. I gave extreme patience and so many second, third, fourth, fifth, and sixth chances for this place to be decent. But it is hands-down The worst RV service center in Southern California. And possibly the worst automotive experience I've ever had. If you don't mind parking your RV for free for 8 months and not having anyone work on it, having them lie (or incompetence) about your warranty not covering your repairs, constant excuses and run arounds about when your vehicle will be done, never returning calls when they tell you every day they're going to return your call, not preforming work that you asked after sending detailed emails about what you need done, giving your vehicle back with cut wires and dashboards not being replaced with wires left dangling in your cabin, and overall, if you like having a terrible customer service experience whereby they're basically just giving you the middle finger, all while receiving your vehicle in the end in horrible shape; then this is the place for you. Absolutely a nightmare to deal with. They de-prioritize warranty work and put you in the back of the line constantly and leave you sitting forever. They show absolute disrespect and disregard for any of my issues and placed me at the back of the line for eight months. And this went on for eight months. Terrible experience. Bad work. To summarize, they had my trailer for over a year, and I'll need to take it straight to another shop to fix all the things they did wrong, broke, or just didn't do at all. Some things were broken that they didn't even do any work on, still trying to figure that out. Just yesterday I noticed the black water tank wasn't totally empty........it was when I brought it in. I'll let the pictures tell the story. I would recommend you do not go here. In my experience the silver tongued used car salesman Mike who runs the place will promise the moon, then leave you hanging for months at a time with no information. One particular frustration, I was asking to see pictures of some of the things they were doing that I wouldn't be able to check when they were done (inside a wall) for over 6 months. He kept saying they had the pictures, and that he would email them to me, but to this day he never did. I now know why, and it's in the pics. There are plenty of better places to go for RV and trailer needs, with people that actually care about the quality of their work, and the expertise to pull it off properly. Super nice people!! However, they are an absolute cluster F when it comes to calling people back. I took my trailer in to get an estimate on repairs (slide, door, etc). It took 1 month and me calling over 9 times before I even received a quote..... every-time someone would say "I'm not sure the status. Let me call You back"........ they only kept their word of calling me back 1 out of the 9 calls. I really want to like these guys as they seemed knowledgeable... but if it takes 9 calls and a month to get me a price quote... what will it be like if I actually had them do work. Sad to say I just gave up and scheduled an opponent with someone an hour away and a month from now. read more

I want to start by saying that I didn't end up getting work done on my trailer at Simi Center because the trailer was totaled and my insurance company wouldn't authorize the repair. So this review is about Michael, specifically, at Simi Center. He was very kind to me and took time to chat and let me mourn the loss of my trailer to the insurance company. He also offered some advice for dealing with the insurance company that I took to heart and was able to negotiate a bit of a higher settlement for the totaling of my beloved trailer. There was some confusion between Simi Center and the Insurance company regarding the cost of storage of the trailer. My insurance company said that they charged way too much per day of storage, but Micheal at Simi Center negotiated with them and removed many days of storage from the bill being sent to my insurance company. Michael let me take my time when it came to removing all of my personal items from my trailer before the insurance company took it away forever. You won't be impressed with the look of the place. The lot is quite crowded and the office is an absolute disaster if you like things that look neat and organized. To be perfectly honest, I had my doubts about leaving my trailer in their care when I saw the condition of the office, but in the end, I am glad that I took my trailer them and that I got to speak directly with the owner of the company. read more

Talk about going out of your way for the customer!! THANK YOU!! THANK YOU!!! We had our rig in for a wash/wax and routine maintenance just before leaving the next day for vacation. They stayed open late to finish the job (which was excellent) but wait- there's more... As i was ready to leave their yard the rig wouldn't start. Turns out my starter was bad. The mechanic immediately volunteered to stay and replace it even though they were already closed. Mike, the owner, let me pick it up at 9pm after it was fixed and even told me to wait until we came back from vacation to pay for the repair!! NOW THAT IS INTEGRITY!! A few years back, we brought our camper van here for a small leak. It was still under warranty from the place we bought it from. t that point there was different staff, and the job was done well and efficiently. We brought our van back a while ago to get another leak repaired this one required taking the entire shower/bathroom apart. Different staff. Van sat for weeks, we're given the run around, the work was horrible. I mean, awful. We got our van back a month later it was DISGUSTING inside. The outside was scratched, the inside had dust, hand marks on the ceiling, debri everywhere. The floor was scratched. There were RAT DROPPINGS IN IT! we NEVER had a single issue with this before. And once we got it home and caught this, we cleaned the whole interior and thankfully didn't end up bringing any home from with the van. The caulk job was horrible, the toilet was never fully hooked up, which we discovered the hard way, the slide away sink catch no longer works. They never were able to provide me pictures to prove they didn't just reuse the same sewage soaked plywood. Don't get me started on the piece of 2x4 they jammed underneath to hold plumbing in place and then spray insulated in so I fixing it properly was a nightmare. The screws in the shower were stripped and powder coat white paint chipped off. Scratched and black scuffs on the white plastic interior of shower which sadly are permanent. The floor of the shower is all squishy and doesn't drain properly anymore. Needless to say we had to go in and fix their work ourselves.... Dealing with the owner was like dealing with a used car sales man. We didn't leave a review for ages because honestly, we were so pissed and angry we let ourselves get this swindled we just didn't want to revisit it. As small business owners ourselves, and the fact we could have done this ourselves, but thinking going to a facility that we we HAD been so impressed with, that does this would be more efficient, and it would come back looking better than we would do, this was one of the most disgusting displays of horrible workmanship, and downright swindling a customer. I was stranded, stuck, and AAA was two hours away. Called some spots I was familiar with, no answer. Called Simi Center, cause it was the closest thing coming up on Goggle. Spoke with Megan, and connected me to Darrin. I was able to explain my problem. He was able to drive to me, get me going, to the shop down the street. Thankfully it was only a battery that needed replacing. They rang me up, gave me a first timer discount, and made a returning customer for sure. For me, it was the customer service, Darrin was a straight shooter. I didn't feel that mechanic trickery, to squeeze a $ out of me. My 5th-wheel trailer had a toilet leak which Simi Ctr RV Repair tried 4 times to fix, but never succeeded. The first 3 times, they said the seal ring was the problem, but the leak kept reoccurring. Now, at the 4th attempt to fix the problem, Dan, the assistant manager, claims the leak is from a cracked toilet. The repair technician, Robert, who has taken the toilet off and on 3x, found a crack in the toilet and left it off. I had to call Dan to find out the details, and he was supposed to get an estimate for the cost of a new toilet, and get back to me. 2 weeks later, no call back from Dan on the new toilet repair, and my toilet is still disconnected! Robert is inept at diagnosing problems and fixing them, and Dan lies to cover up all their mistakes! I was forced to take my trailer elsewhere to get the toilet properly repaired! My recommendation for Simi Center RV Repair is to avoid them at ALL cost, and go to a reputable repair shop! read more

I had not been to my camping trailer for a while so when I finally checked it out, I realized that the roof was leaking water into the trailer. Mike and the guys at Simi Center had worked on it before, so I took it back to them. The replace the damaged plywood and patched up my roof along with a couple other small repairs. The only reason I gave this a one was because of the hours. We took our RV to get the outside detailed and the rug inside cleaned. They not only messed up the decals, they hit the drivers outside mirror and left paint on it from the other vehicle. Swirls all around the outside from the buffing machine they used. When they went to open up the inside they did not move the drivers chair and popped the board that seals it. My husband had to use a nail gun to repair. I called and was offered a free wash from the owner. Today we found another and this is the straw that broke the camels back & promted this review. It seems when they closed up the canopy they just let it snap in place. Now it's jammed. It was fine before we took it to them. I will have to take it in to get it fixed. This service was not cheap. Definitely cannot recommend at all. read more

This is one of the best wash and details businesses i have ever been to. Mike is an amazing guy and knows just how well to handle his customers. From the moment i got there to the moment i picked my Jeep back up, it was a complete breeze. The customer service from the other employees was also outstanding. I was going to pick up my Jeep just a little after closing and they were okay with waiting for me. I had a couple scuffs and scratched on my Jeep and everything was taken right out and it's been months and my wax and detail is still on there. I have even gone out of the state a couple of times and have gone off roading in dirt and mud and when i wash it, it looks just as if i had just gotten it done.
