In my search for a massage therapist, I did a google search which pointed me to yelp. I exchanged messages with several spas, and landed on majestic Thai spa. I was impressed by the clear communication and ease of scheduling. I was matched with Palmy who gave me an excellent massage. She used a few different techniques over the hour, leaving me very relaxed for the remainder of the day. The spa is beautiful! We came for a 90min couple's massage ($255). They do offer Early Bird "specials" (M-F, book by 11am), but you really are just saving $5, which isn't a huge discount. We came here after hearing rave reviews from friends. Our two therapist were Pami (?spelling) and Tanya. For those not familiar with Thai massages, there is a lot of stretching and pressure. Overall, the massages were good, but not spectacular. Would I come back? Yes, if I'm in the area, but wouldn't necessarily make the trip from SF just for it. read more

Kiki gave a superb massage session. She was intuitive, firm but gentle, had a perfect cadence to her lean- hold-release bodywork, and found the tough parts without shying away from them or going too hard. I don't have much to compare to but it was a wonderful massage. I like how even a bit of stretching was incorporated as well as facial and head massage. I did an hour and a half and it was well worth it as I have a lot of body pain- now I just have to figure out how I can budget in regular massages! read more

I thought life was great with a Swedish massage, but a Swedish Thai massage makes life perfect! I love how they stretch you out while also kneading you all in the same hour. I have never had a masseuse verbally recognize my knots and intentionally work on them (I know it's expected for a massage place, but I feel like none actually focus where you want them to focus...). My neck typically "tweaks" a couple times a day--it gets really stiff and hard to move and it only feels better after a massage. After getting my shoulder knots worked on, my neck stopped tweaking for the next few weeks. I felt significantly better, my shoulders felt looser, and maintaining good posture was easier. Two downsides to this location: 1) they gather SO much information on you in the forms you sign. Why do you need my email, address, phone number?? Is this normal? 2) I think my masseuse fell asleep on me..? She kept slowing down, stopping on an area, then suddenly sped up with a burst of energy. I thought it was a massage technique, but then I think I heard her snoring?! Poor lady must be exhausted, but did I really get my money's worth there?? -- Overall, the price point for this place is actually fantastic. Would come again! read more

I have had massages at some of the most upscale resorts but nothing has come close to the two massages I have had here. I plan on coming back as often as I can. Got the Thai Swedish massages since need to get all the knots out!! Lol Arrived and we got the shoe booties and filled out paperwork they took our temps! Very friendly and seamless! Clean rooms and they change everything after the treatments! Got our massages a full 60 minutes ! The lady did a great job and my favorite part were the hot stones !! My wife and I had a 1-hour couple's massage over the long weekend. The accommodations are a little sparse as far as spas go, but we were cheerfully greeted upon arriving and quickly shown to the room after filing out the paperwork. The key thing I want to stress is how *good* the masseuses were. I had Tida and my wife had Shaba (please forgive the spelling). My masseuse readily identified where I was tight (often old injury sites) and deftly worked the muscle. The pressure was almost more than I could take, but she frequently checked in with how I was doing and communicated her intentions for the massage. I could not be happier with the quality of service. I have known my wife for a decade and have gone to at least two dozen spas with her. I never heard her say she received the right amount of pressure until today (frequently she wants more than the masseuse can provide). We are about an hour's drive away but will probably get a package and make the trip for more treatments several times this year. read more

This place is a hidden gem! Well not so much anymore...because with all the great reviews more people are going to be going here! I loved my massage and felt completely and totally safe from the moment I stepped in to when I left. They take all the covid precautions necessary by taking the temperature of the masseur and the client in front of each other, hand sanitize before and after the massage, and change out the linings for each person to place their personal belongings in a bucket/chair. A little additional touch is that they had a space heater in the room that I did appreciate since it was a cold early morning. On to the massage...I am one that likes light to medium pressure, but she always checked in with me in case she was going too hard. I had some knots in my back and arms and was hesitant about getting them worked on. For the first three days I was sore, but then felt how loose I was. She did a phenomenal job working out my kinks. She asked if I preferred lotion or oil and thankfully she ended up using both oil and menthol lotion because I needed it. Make sure if you don't want the smell to ask for another lotion though. I did smell like Icy Hot doing my errands around town, but I know what to expect my next visit. They also do have an early bird special if you go in the morning before noon on weekdays and before 11am on weekends I believe (check their website to double check). I will be returning and can't wait for my much needed SAFE massage during these covid times. Support local and try this place out! read more

I went twice previously, throughly enjoyed. Palmy was the therapist for me. El was my husband's. 5 star! Went a third time for Valentine's Day recently and got Ana. I didn't think to ask for same therapist (Palmy) I didn't even have her name and it had been awhile so I thought I would give a shot to someone different. I told her from the beginning, I can't have deep tissue or too hard. I told her multiple times throughout the massage it was way too hard, it was AWFUL! I left bruised and sore. The front desk lady was understanding when I did not tip, felt bad and offered free sauna. I literally paid to be tortured and have no relaxation. Don't see going back for a while :( they honestly should have comped the massage. read more

I called in the afternoon and they got me in a few hours. Naya was gracious and gave me an amazing massage! When she asked if she could walk on me I was ecstatic!!! It was all I could do not to jump up and down whilst clapping and saying "yes, please" Naya walked on my legs and back, she stretched me better than any physical therapist ever has!! I took my mom here for her birthday gift after doing some research on the reviews this place has. My mom turned 59 and is a gentle woman. Booking an appointment was very easy on their website. They also call to confirm, which I like. Great communication is something I appreciate when it comes to being a new client. Very warm welcome. When we arrived we were greeted and received warmly. I felt comfortable leaving my mom there for her 1hr massage. They were very tending to her, listened to her requests and also made her feel comfortable, which I highly appreciate. After I came back to pick her up, the front desk gave me an update of how much longer they would be, again great communication. Their lobby is a nice cozy area to wait at. My mom came out very happy and let me know how pleasant the whole experience was. Thank you for treating her to a nice experience.
